They let me down at Cancun airport

I booked a transfer from Cancun to a hotel in Riviera Maya a few weeks in advance. My flight was about 30 minutes late and this became a pretext for them to say that no car was available for me. So I had to pay US$200 in emergency for an alternative ride. Refunding me the cost of this cancelled transfer does not nearly compensate the trouble we experienced on this trip.

Dealing with this company is a struggle

I placed an order that they agreed to cancel, saying that the refund would take 1-2 weeks. It took 2 months plus the intervention of the BBB to get the refund. Emailing me misleading information all the time. Impossible to reach them by telephone and they do not return voice messages.

Hidden costs…

You waste your time to fill out all the passenger information, accept or reject all the add-ons and at the end you find out that this was not the right price - it will be more expensive, if you want to book through them.

Problem-free service for 4 years

Problem-free service for 4 years by now. And constant free upgrades - I started with 500 MB, now I have 4 gb for the same money, my wife stared wuth 20 GB and now she has 40 GB for the same money. They upgraded us to Canada-wide free roaming.
I see the most of the complaints are from the customer service, which has been OK to me, the only problem I have had is with pushy salespersons. But we should not forget the most important - the actual mobile phone service by Freeedom.

I have tried a few, but Wise is the most competitive, reliable and fast money transfer service by far. The web site is straight forward, they guide you efficiently through the steps of the transfer, give you appropriate warnings and generally, it is excellently built.

Sold me a defective part

Sold me a defective drive shaft and would not admit it, so it was a struggle to get a refund. I showed them clearly what the defect was, but all I got back was "next time order a compatible part"!?. It cost me numerous hours in the garage, trying to make the defective part work. And towing charges, because my car left me down in the middle of the road.
I understand that it is the supplier's fault (TrackMotive in this case), but PartsAvatar should be careful who they work with.

Eager to sell stuff, but customer service is awful

I placed an order for a furnace flame sensor on Saturday evening. Then called the following day, Sunday, about noon and requested order cancellation. I was told that my request was placed in some kind of lineup and I would receive a message, no matter if my request was successful or not. I did not receive such message, just 24 hours later I received a notification that my order was shipped! My order never appeared on my account page, so the tab Manage your order was useless, so was the tab Track your order. Then, when I called and enquired about return, the representative just hung up on me!

A step above the competition

I have been a Manulife client for the last 25 years and I am very happy with their service. Both my group retirement and group benefits are with Manulife, at one point I was also doing banking with them.
The benefit service is excellent - the online application is simple and straight-forward, the refund is quick and without any hassle, the response to queries is efficient.
About the group retirement - the online account management is also simple and easy, their web site is very well built and answers to all customer needs. I am also a Sunlife customer, but their online services really suck in comparison.

Amazon does not care about security at all

This company pays zero attention to security. They hacked my account recently and tried to steal some $3000 by buying phones, but 2 phone calls and 8 hours later I only received an e-mail saying "We did not find any unautorised acitivity on your account"!!!??? And this is given that the perpetrator indicated their address for shipping!
Another frustrating thing is that they made it impossible to disable the 1-click payment.
Yes Amazon, why would you care about security - the lack of it only increases your sales!

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. I bought a loveseat a year ago. 8 months later the cushion of one of the armrests caved in and one of the pivoting footrest cable broke. Having read the reviews, I didn't even try to complain about the defective armrest. And after an epic 4-month battle I got the cable replacement only last week. The average time on hold for the customer service is one hour and they simply do not reply to e-mails.

I wish I read the reviews before I booked...

First, it was about more than 1 hour waiting. Then, they forced me to pay additional €130 for insurance, claiming that my credit card was a debit card. Other companies have also pressured me for unwanted insurance in the past, but never using such a deceitful sham. Reading the other reviews, apparently charging additional unwanted insurance is their trademark and they have a large arsenal of fraudulent tricks to rip off their customers.
Their web site is also 100% dysfunctional, if you want to get in touch- it is impossible to contact them by e-mail or a message

Unreliable in my experience

I booked a transfer from the hotel to the airport in Thailand. 5 hours before the pick-up time I got a message form the driver that he had been in an accident and could not make it. Reading other reviews, these drivers get into accidents quite frequently! So I had to make alternative arrangement in emergency.
I am only giving the second star, because they refunded me the money in full without any hassle and apologised.

Beside the huge pile of stinky fraudulent East European dating sites there is one that I know is real and serious - Elena's Models. I was so lucky that a friend of mine told me about it! I found my true love there and our son is already 7 months old. Thank you, Elena's Models!

100% useless

If you read that one can open an account in this bank as a foreign resident (as they advertise), DO NOT TRUST THAT! The customer service is absolutely useless - in my view the people there have a short list of standard answers and usually they pick one that is not even remotely close to your question. Robots would do much better job, I am sure. Then, if your questions become too difficult for people of low intelligence, they just stop talking to you. Same with the technical support, which I addressed, because their web site is dysfunctional too. Zero help.
I sent the filled-out application forms with the Post-Ident coupon and proper identification, but never received a reply despite my follow-up.
