I have been a member for 2 years
I have been a member for 2 years. It's not the best gym, but I can tolerate as it has the basic equipment I need. I knew some staff as well and they were lovely. What annoyed me recently is how they handled my membership freeze as I was on holiday. The first person I called said yes, they will freeze it but I might get charged the immediate next month due to their billing cycle which is fine. But then, I got charged on 2 monthly payments. I rang the gym and they said the second one was a mistake but will flag the manager to give me a call back the next day which I didn't get. I had to ring them back again 5 days later, and the manager himself said my membership is cancelled just this month and cannot do any refund. The manager talked very rude as well, kept interrupting me from explaining what happened. He did extend my freeze and said I can still go to the gym without paying. But I might just cancel my membership altogether coz I don't want to support businesses who doesn't know how to deal respectfully their customers.
