scammed

I gave the date the car was purchased and have proof with a receipt but because the log book got lost in the post the date is different on the new log book i am being charged £60.92 to update it on their systems as they say they have to go by the date on the log book not the date on my receipt.

as this has no relevance to a policy that as i purchased the car over a year ago it's Clearly a money making scheme.

I have spoken with the team twice today and even though i can prove the car was purchased when i say it was with the receipt they say that as the log book was reapplied for and this has a different date to what i told them they need to go by that and change the purchase date on your system, as we all know if i bought the car 2 years ago rather than 1 this makes no difference to my premium but it is your way of extracting more money from your customers.
I have had dealings with many insurance companies over the years yours is the first to ask for a pic of the log book just so you can get extra money if someone puts the wrong date of purchase down which i didn't as i have the receipt to show when it was purchased so i put the correct date down but you still want to say i have it wrong as dvla have it listed on a different date as i had to reapply for the log book

Bought direct from them as I don’t…

Bought direct from them as I don’t really go for the competitions and was a pleasure dealing with the guys there, kept informed of what was happening and dispatched very quickly on a day that worked for me even got more than I bargained for

4 times longer to deliver a poor…

4 times longer to deliver a poor quality product than it should have been, After having for 3 months they have fallen apart as screw threads have disappeared due to poor quality of frames
