We started dealing with max from fair and fast house buyers , he provided us with a buyer within 24 hours at a price we accepted . It was a commercial property so was subject to VAT which was mentioned several times in the opening conversations.
It was agreed that they would pay all the solicitors costs which was agreed between mine and the purchasers solicitors .
The contract was drawn up and my solicitor dealt with the buyers solicitor and all was going smoothly or so we thought .
The buyers solicitor asked for some paperwork from HMRC to confirm the VAT element which we promptly contacted HMRC about . My solicitor explained to the buyers solicitor there would be a period of time before HMRC could provide this due to their backlog. We chased this continuously and ensured it was provided . We had no contact from Max and everything went quiet. When my solicitor contacted the buyers after the Christmas break they said they were pulling out with no reason. When we contacted max we were told that more commercial properties had come available due to Covid and the vat element they were unsure of .
We lost a large amount of rental income as they wanted vacant possession. The whole experience caused us major stress, anxiety and financial loss which has put pressure on my family.
Not only that my solicitor still has not been paid .
I have tried to contact max on several occasion and he still has not contacted me.
I would definitely not recommend this company .
