After many years of Austrian... never again

I used to fly Austrian all the time and even had a miles ticket. I was traveling with my sibling when the flight was delayed then cancelled. The app automatically booked us on another flight that goes through Heathrow airport which is impossible for us since we don't have transit visas. The flight was also in another 2 days.

I made two international calls to try to rebook the flight and was forced to hold for 20 minutes. When I asked the resonder on the phone to give me 5 minutes to check online how to get this Heathrow transit visa, she refused to hold... for 5 miserable minutes, so I can confirm the flight... It's clear that I was on hold because they take multiple calls at the same time.

Everyone else we spoke to on the app was either not trained for the job or AI. I used to fly with Austrian twice a year but suddenly they have all this AI bullshit on their app. We could not even find a customer service number to call and all the AIs/incompetent staff refused to give it to us. Finally a nice random man gave us the number from a business card he had been given by his agent...

They refused to compensate us for this delay and shitshow because it was a bird strike.... Sure, that I get, but no compensations for their utter failure as an airline?

You used to be good, Austrian. Now you're just AI trash.

Annoying seller

Annoying seller, wouldn't take no for an answer... says my current elbolag is on some blacklist, no elaboration as to what that means. Just leave people be. I have so much shit to deal with already when moving to a new place. I don't need more crap on my back.

They used to be okay

They used to be okay, then they just became rude all of a sudden. They treat you as if you are acting out of entitlement when asking normal things. I often wonder if it's because of my foreign name (even though I write them in Swedish) or if they just treat everyone like shit.

On one occasion, they lied via email and treated me like I'm some idiot when complaining that neighbors were storing large and dangerous objects in the hallway (like a giant saw) and almost blocking the path of my own door when it opens... these neighbours were also constantly ripping off any (perfectly polite) notes I put up in the hallway about it. Customer service used to be okay but suddenly they became sassy and unhelpful, even rebuked me for asking for a confirmation email that this has been resolved.

Expensive apartments with cheap parts installed that eventually break with normal usage. They don't judge wear and tear fairly. They don't care about their tenants. They raise the rent unreasonably without making any adjustments or improvements whatsoever. Poor communication. They don't treat you with dignity or respect.

A single good thing is that they handle issues quickly after a felanmälan and deal with good companies. EXCEPT the elevator. If you have a mobility disability or a child with a trolley, DON'T LIVE HERE. They chose the seemingly cheapest and worst service to fix it. It breaks constantly, especially on days when people move in or out.

I complained about the vents blasting on turbo mode for the entire weekend, causing me huge trouble sleeping. It was their fault for not handling the vent system properly after a fire alarm. Treated me like I'm asking them to pave my apartment with gold... I believe they wouldn't accept it if someone treated them that way.

Bad experinece with customer service and drivers, no proper notification about delays,

Bad experinece with customer service. The driver of the bus with the number we are meant to board says he can't take us and that another bus will arrive "soon" between 10 minutes and 1 hour. No notification at all from Flix or anything like that.

Anyway, I have taken Flix before, my advice is to only take small trips and keep your schedule open. Good to speak about 7 languages, maybe then you can understand the driver better.

Also their refund policy for delays is designed to steal your money and is unreasonable.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Used to be my favourite provider

Used to be my favourite provider. Then one day my partner and I fly to the UK and never receive the SMS telling us about roaming prices. We had to talk to customer service several times and help them do the math to understand their roaming package is ridiculous. They keep saying they sent the SMS but neither me nor my partner received it. They don't care. In the end they refund me only half of the money I was being billed "unknowingly". In the end, I paid My partner had his phone service disconnected while travelling for using "too much data" when we had no idea what that limit is and why. Very dangerous to have one's phone line disconnected while travelling.

By the end of the trip, my partner and I were shocked to be charged a huge amount of money for barely using any roaming surf at all... 657 kr for me! In the faktura, Fello charged me with 468 kr for using 275 MB of Internet. Apparently I had to use "more" to be charged "less". Again, this is nothing I was informed about and the information is buried deep in the website.

This, and the not fun conversation with customer service, brings my rating from 5 down to 2. I hated this so much that I switched providers entirely. Didn't expect them to want to make a buck our of my misery.

ratskit :)

Absolutely the worse. Every other data website (hitta, eniro, the whole terrible bunch) remove and hide your data straight away. Only with "Ratskit" require you to send it by snail-mail (they don't use BankID because they want to make your life harder) and you have to wait 30 days for it to even take effect.
