My usual train journey home was disrupted due to weekend track maintenance. My 1 hour journey would have become 3 hours by rail replacement buses.

So, I had pre-booked a taxi service to pick me up at midnight from Luton Airport. However, when I arrived, there was no taxi there. Having traveled all day, feeling unwell, cold, and alone, I began to sob.

Fortunately, a kind driver from MyRyd came over to check if he could help. He kindly canceled the other taxi service to avoid any charges, made me feel comfortable, and quickly drove me home. He truly felt like a knight in shining armour. All this exceptional service was even cheaper than my originally booked no-show taxi.
