Errorful Delivery and Installation corrected quickly
The two delivery staff were very knowledgeable, respectful and kind. Two very professional individuals. They contradicticted what the shop floor salesman said about installation of my hob. They could not install it as they do not cut counters for this. It is an insurance issue. I quickly received a refund for this installation that did not happen. They were unable to install my dryer because of the set up with the steel stacking bar at my house. Again the salesman assured me this would not be an issue when I purchased the washer and dryer. There was an honest mixup with the fridge-freezer I bought. A similar larger model was entered at the point of sale and not the sale item I selected on the shop floor. I origianally believed I was the victim of false advertising this did not match up with the demensions on the website to fit a 63cm space. The fridge is actually 70cm in width. So the delivery staff were unable to install this and it was placed in the dining area of the room. Overall it was a very dissatisfying/frustrating experience, some of which could have been avoided perhaps had the sales staff known about limitations of the delivery staff's operations. The delivery staff were great. And with the above issues, Harvey Norman Galway were quick to act, reimburse me and correct the ordering error. I was very happy with the after sales service.
