Extremely positive experience with Aligned Labs!

I have had a great experience working with Aligned Labs! I have enjoyed working with Tyler and the team and have been able to do interesting work in a flexible, remote work environment. I've really enjoyed the project I was placed on and it's been great to see it go from a month-long pilot into a longer-term project of about 6 months. The communication is clear and transparent and they provide the support and resources you need to do your best work.

Premium product with the absolute worst customer experience

Terrible customer experience. They sell a premium product and deliver the absolute worst customer service. It's remarkable they can sell mattresses at this price point and then act surprised when their mattresses consistently break right around the 2-year mark (typically after the warranty is up). At 2 years and 3 months, ours had a big leak and our options to get this remediated were effectively to sink nearly $2,000 to get an upgrade and have to deal with the hassle of shipping it back to them and then setting up the new one.

Why would I commit to a $2,000 upgrade when I'm fairly confident the next one will also break down?

It's also interesting to see that only the positive reviews on Trustpilot end up with any response or acknowledgement from Eight Sleep. They seem to think that if they ignore the thousands of customers who've had negative experiences, their brand somehow won't be impacted.

We're sorry to hear that you've had a poor experience recently. The warranty information can be found at eightsleep.com/warranty. Typically if a replacement is needed outside of the warranty, we do not need the product shipped back. The exception to this is if the engineering team requests the defective device's return. If that's the case, the engineering team's goal is to further troubleshoot to understand what went wrong and what we can do to prevent/troubleshoot it in future.

Again, we're sorry to hear that your Pod requires a replacement. Please note that if you take us up on the out-of-warranty offer, the replacement will have a 2-year warranty. Additionally, if you have a Legacy or Grandfathered membership status, this will remain as-is.

We hope that we're able to find a satisfactory solution here, and if that does entail a replacement, we hope you find much value in all of the updates we've made to the Pod.

Great company and great products

I've been a plunge user for a while now and have been thrilled with their cold plunge products. I would highly recommend their cold plunges to anyone in the market.
