If I could choose zero, I would. I spoke to JTL yesterday who took my tyre details and ordered me 2 new front tyres (as they didn’t keep the stock)and promised that they would be delivered today and fitted. “Just turn up in the afternoon and they’ll be ready” - perfect, I thought.
I was quoted for the pair and asked JTL to check when I last had them done via my number plate of which he said it was last September 2024. He didn’t ask for my contact details - but assumed that he had them as they would be attached to the last order which he found and would have.
I turned up today - someone ordered the wrong tyres and the team in Leamington Spa didn’t have my contact details to contact me to tell me that they had cocked up. I wasted a day holiday and I need to cancel my plans tomorrow to find an alternative supply.
Gross incompetence:
1. Ordered the wrong tyres
2. Didn’t ask for my contact details
3. Didn’t link my request to my details recorded last Sept
4. Failed to contact me today to prevent a wasted journey
I was impressed with the team last year, hence why I returned - not again. Awful service and not a team I can trust with my car.
