Awesome service and trusted DWL Fencing

We went with Dave at DWL Fencing and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. We chose to replace our back gate and, unlike most companies who just sent over a quote, Dave took the time to ask questions and offer helpful suggestions based on what would work best for us. The workmanship is excellent and the end result is better than we expected. We’re so happy with the job that we already have more work lined up for him. Reliable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with.

⭐ 1-Star Review: Disappointed with Communication and Availability

I purchased the Maldives Garden Set after renovating our garden and wanted all the Maldives range to match. It’s been over three weeks since placing my order — no emails, no updates, and no sign of delivery.

When I finally called today, I was told the entire set is out of stock and won’t be available until next year, with no clear delivery date. Yet the payment of £1,600 was taken immediately, and at no point was I informed that the item wasn’t in stock.

To be fair, the lady I spoke with on the phone was lovely and helpful, but the situation is still unacceptable. If something is out of stock, it should clearly say so on the website — not allow customers to pay and wait weeks with no communication.

Really disappointed, especially given the cost and excitement we had for our new garden setup.

Great Product, Poor Service Experience

I’ve used Purdy & Fig a few times before and always loved their products, but this recent experience has been really disappointing. I placed an order in early September and didn’t receive it for weeks. I chased customer support three times with no response, and it wasn’t until I asked for a refund that I finally got a reply.

When my order eventually arrived, it was incomplete — the bottle and cloth that were part of my purchase were missing.

Even though the products themselves are great, this experience has really put me off ordering from Purdy & Fig again.
