The process to acquire a unit was very…

The process to acquire a unit was very straight forward, I completed the process including the payment portion without any problem. The problem for me came when the unit was assigned. I did not get an access code. My move-in date was Friday, November 26, and I was unable to contact your agency for 24 hours. I had to make other arrangements for storage of my items.

The prices are reasonable & the staff…

The prices are reasonable & the staff is always nice & friendly. The only problem i do have with this location is; that it's always leaking water, water on the floors between the aisles with a foul smell. Sometimes you have to walk around the whole storage building to avoid stepping in the water or having water dripping on you. Other than that, i really don't have a problem.

Every aspect of this process has been…

Every aspect of this process has been automated due to not having actual employees on site except payment!!! The monthly payment process is manual and you exercise late fees and Leon rights at the drop of a hat!!! I have only been a customer for 2 weeks and you apply late fees is insane! I don’t recommend this place if you have other options.

We do see that you moved in at on November 30th and paid the prorated amount for one day. December started a new month and rent is due on the 1st of each month, we do allow a grace period until the 5th of each month before your account is considered late. Looking at your account your payment wasn't made until today which is why there was a late fee added on to your account. We do offer auto-payments as well which you can opt into from your account page so that your payments will come out on time each month on the 1st.

I would not recommend this facility to…

I would not recommend this facility to anyone! I moved out on They initially stated that the monthly storage fee would be prorated but i would have to pay the full month and they would reimburse me. I was not happy with that so I asked for management. The agent placed me on hold and came back saying that i needed to esign the move out document and then she would let me know what the prorated amount was. She placed me on hold again and came back stating that i had to pay the full month because they were not aware I moved until today. I advised they have limited hours on the weekends which is why they did not receive a call. Of course im very unhappy at this point because you have told me several different things. I mentioned a supervisor again and she said "ok but they are going to tell you the same thing"! The supervisor got on the phone while i was speaking to my wife in the background and basically told me to be quiet so she could speak. She then stated that they are not obligated to provide me a prorated bill for any reason and i could either pay for the month and process the move out or they could write it off as bad debt! She was very rude and not interested in coming to a resolve.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I researched your account and I see where there may be some confusion. This facility offers prorated rent at move in, and a promotion of your first full month of rent free. Rents are not prorated at move out.

It does not appear that our customer support division was aware in advance that you would be moving out of your storage unit. According to the lease contract, rents are due in full on the first of each month and are considered late by the 6th of the month. The agents in our customer support division are not authorized to take action that is not within the bounds of the lease contract, so they would not have been able to prorate the rent as you asked.

I apologize if there has been any confusion, and encourage you to reach out to our customer support division if you have any further questions.

Customer service great

I completed the sign up and payments, etc. online but apparently it didn't save. Sasha was very sweet and handled the discrepancy professionally and got me set up.

Broken locks

Broken locks, blood all over concrete. Can't get ahold of staff.

Everything went well accept for the…

Everything went well accept for the fact that there were no verbal disclosure that they have had flooding issues. I am a stroke survivor and need assistance from people to point out important things not just put it on the customer to check the reviews or find it in small print elsewhere.
Also the location directions were not clear and no one is on site. It took my son and I about two hours of driving around in the neighborhood of the business not knowing that it was around behind on the side of the shopping center. No one could direct us to this place.
All in all so far as of 12/03/21 there has been no issues. How can you have an issue when the people you are doing business with are not there. The people I initially spoke with to set this up over the phone and through my email to make the purchase were very respectful and accommodating. I just wished that they had mentioned the flood issues. As we were moving in water was pouring in from the roof in the middle of a walkway area in the storage area. How can you turn back and walk away at that point being disabled since 2017 after divorcing and needing somewhere to put your things. I took the insurance which I can not afford truthfully in hope and more so Prayer & Faith to God that I will not need to use it. You should get your insurance payments back after you move out because I would have never taken it in the first but after stumbling across one review that mentioned it I felt I had to. I would recommend the place because it is clean, secure and does not smell.

Safe and secure

The process was very easy

The process was very easy. Went to unit and everything was almost as stated.
4 stars vs 5 is 20% less than perfect.
I paid for a 10x5 unit butt it measured 10x4.
Thats 20% less than expected. Therefore 4 stars.
I hope I don’t need the other one for by 10.

Pick up the phone

How can you let someone stay on hold for 1 and 1/2 hrs? I’ve attempted to get into my unit but found a new lock on it. No emails or anything showing me the combination to get into the locker.

They were closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday, per the email that we sent to all customers on Tuesday, but have reopened for normal business today, Saturday November 27th.

As I am unable to view your account with the information provided, I can only note that in general, if a unit is delinquent in payment, our maintenance teams do overlock that unit until payment is made. Please ensure that your account is paid current and you will promptly be provided with a code to open the overlock.

God Awful customer service

10 Federal recently acquired the unit I had rented for a year with no issues. I go to access my unit yesterday and find a “divinci” lock on my unit and most around me… so I was unable to access the items I needed that day. They never communicated that they were putting new locks to keep us out of our units. I even called on Wed and set up the auto draft and nothing was said to me than either. I have now spent over 2 hours on hold with them and no one has answered the call… I’ve spent most of that time as caller #4 waiting to speak to a representative, with an ever increasing “estimated wait time”. I am floored at how poorly this was handled. If I could add pictures I would so you the emails we received said nothing about new locks being added. God awful service

**Update**Additional information, when I called on Saturday I was told that an email had been sent to me to let me know that the lock was added. Keep in mind the lock had been added at minimum 4 days before the email was sent, and I was told, you haven’t opened the email, it was sent less than 30 minutes before I called in, it wouldn’t have mattered. The communication is better on reviews than it is through customer service, I truly don’t know what my bill will be or what to do with the new lock that they added to my already locked unit. I will say they told me on Wednesday I owed them nothing, on Saturday I owed a prorated amount of my bill for the 3 days left of the month (fair enough) no mention on Wednesday though. I was glad to finally have access to my stuff after being locked out for days. I have no doubt you all are fine once this gets worked out but you have to let people k ow that you are adding an additional lock before you do it.

I am unable to see your account in our system with the information provided, but a DaVinci lock may have been placed on your unit if it was found to be unlocked; the benefit of a DaVinci lock over a standard keyed lock is the ability to provide a code remotely, rather than customers needing to pick up a key. If you are still unable to get into your unit I encourage you to reach out to our customer support division.
