Their portal is fully automated so when a problem arises, there is no one to help waiting on the phone for hours to talk to someone who never comes.

Good and clean
Good location. Very clean. Easy to get in and out of. Only problem was the website. I had to enter information in 3 times because it would reset going between documents singings. But overall would use again.

Stolen
I Have a storage building through this company someway or another my account was closed and someone in the management area or that works for this company stole my stuff out of my storage building and replaced my lock with one of the companies lock and I have tried to turn it in on the insurance that I pay for each month I have been in contact with these people and no one will make anything right in anyway.the unit I have was completely full from top to bottom.the items that were taken you can not put a value on because the stuff was left to me by my late mother in law ,I just think it’s a shame how they run their business and how they treat their customers by not ever making a attempt to help them with this kind of issue all they can do is give you a phone number for the insurance company and all that happens when you call them is a voicemail saying someone will be in contact that all this happened about 17 days ago and still nothing from anyone from this company ….thank you all sincerely MELISSA RAY!!!!!!!

Reserving a unit online was very easy
Reserving a unit online was very easy. I arrived Saturday evening and realized that the combination to the lock was not included in the information that I had received. Since customer service hours ended at 5pm, I had to wait until the next morning to contact customer support. The person I talked to was very helpful and friendly. When I got into the unit, it needed to be swept and had what appeared to be two grease stains on the floor. Not the best experience, but the prices are very reasonable, so I am willing to allow a little more grace.

Too much to explain it would take more time and energy than these people deserve. They aren't climate as they say. Also have contacted support and my friend has a unit and has called for months and nothing has been done about it.

It took 3 times for me to get a valid…
It took 3 times for me to get a valid gate entry code and I found that unacceptable. It appears more training is needed for the customer service representatives on company guidelines and procedures, as I received incorrect information at least twice on required documentation needed to be a fully accepted customer.

Only use company with onsite management
This company took over my storage unit. I emailed twice asking for information about the company, never got a reply, was on hold over 30 minutes to cancel the account and had to pay a full months rent to cancel the account when I was moved out by the 7th. Very poor customer service and huge waste of time. I learned to work with a company with on site management! Beware!!
ADDENDUM: Their comment doesn't even pertain to my issues. I didn't have problems getting into the unit. I never got a reply to my email to cancel before the grace period.

Rental success
Rental success. It did take two attempts to rent a second storage unit but after an unsuccessful first day and a 30 minute wait time. On day two I was able to rent a second unit with no problems. The staffer went through the questions and steps in an efficient organized timely manner.

Parking Spot at 3822 S. Alston Ave, Durham, NC
This review is for a parking spot rental for a Travel Trailer.
Renting process was very easy. You can do it all online but I called anyway and they were very helpful. The location that I chose was very clean with good security and close to my home.
Only a few negatives...
1. At this location the entry keypad is very close to the street so when I pulled up to the keypad with the travel trailer, the back end was blocking the street.
Next time I'll pull all the way up to the gate to clear the street.
2. The parking area is not paved like the rest of the facility. It's very coarse rocks which is not that great for RVs and travel trailers.
In general the place is very good and I would recommend it to others.

when I called to change my move in date…
When I called to change my move in date I waited for almost an hour then was disconnected. However, the next day I called and spoke with a representative who had outstanding customer service skills. When I went to the unit it was spotless and perfect for my storage needs. It is by far one of the best units I have rented and I will recommend 10 Federal storage to friends and family.
