If I could give a zero star rating I would. I use cabs a lot but changed to uber because of the lack of professionalism, rudeness, and the company-wide lack of care and customer service. The woman on the switchboard is part of the problem too. I don’t like being profiled as a potential criminal just because of my current home address (where i looked after my Mother for 9 years). On catching a cab from my sons’ place to Paralowie, the Sikh gentleman told me “ I am sorry, I don’t know why but they are telling me to ask for payment in advance.” I showed him my wallet, replete with cash and he did not insist. It was only a couple of years later when I wanted to book the same destination that when I gave my destination the gruff operator said “they might ask you for payment up-front” I asked why and was told in a dramatic voice “because people had done runners”. I thought we were innocent until proved guilty. I realised I was being profiled negatively due to my mum’s address. There are so many other instances I could give of that operator’s attitude. 13cabs is one of those behind the times, ocker, companies that just don’t get it. I’ll be surprised if they are still here in years to come.

My daughter had left behind her handbag when she got out of the taxi. We were returning home from an overseas trip and her bag had souvenirs for her friends and herself. She was crying her eyes out when one and a half hours later, taxis driver rang door bell, he was holding the bag! Thank you Michael for caring and your kindness. You made a thirteen year old girl very happy and have faith in humanity.
Taxi didn't arrive but still was billed for it
Booked a taxi via the app. Waited from before the due time and was advised the taxi was 30 minutes away. Kept watching the app: 30 minutes, 30 minutes, 32 minutes ... then the next thing I see is that the 'ride has been completed' and I am automatically billed for it. Lodged a complaint with 13CABS and a fortnight later I am still waiting for some response.

Taxi driver took 40 minutes and still didn’t arrive. Disappointed. The ride was accepted and then after calling the Taxi Company they said they were just looking for a driver still when he clearly chose this job. He spent 20 minutes driving in a parking lot on the trackable part of the app. Unless you want to be late for your trip, DONT book 13 Cabs

I’d give no stars if I could. 13cabs are a scam. I booked a trip on the app for me and 3 of my friends on the 1st of December($22) in Melbourne, got to our destination and the cab driver charged us again($46)! Customer service is a joke! Still waiting for someone to respond so I can get my refund! On top of that, we were trying to get home the cab driver wouldn’t take us because the trip wasn’t long enough unless we paid $50!! $50 for a trip that would have been $22 on the app… this can’t be legal..will not being using 13cabs again!

Time came and no driver had picked up the job. 10 minutes after due time a driver on the other side of Perth picked it up. I could see he was on his way on the app but then he diverted to take another ride. Three times! After an hour he was still no closer. I rang 13CABS three times and tried to be transferred to the driver. He wasn't picking up the calls.
Older passengers need assurance and reliability.
Poor service 13cabs
I'd just like to report that the activity of your organisation and individual drivers is abhorrent and disturbing on every level. In particular on new years eve at hobart cbd. Your app changed the rego of the taxi picking us up three times in ten minutes, then said our taxi was at the pick up point when it wasn't. Then it said our ride had started and we would be automatically billed when we were stranded on the side walk! We found a taxi at a nearby taxi rank and they wanted $90 for a normal $15 fare or our one quoted on the app for $25 with the new years eve premium added. Ended up going with an Uber at less then half the price, will never use a taxi again

I ORDERED A CAN FROM 13 CABS I ORDERED IT AT 12.20PN FOR 5.40PM ON FOR THE 21ST DECEMBER 2023 THE CAB NEVER ARRIVED I TALKED TO THE DRIVER BY HIS MOBILE AT 6PM AND ASKED HIM WHERE HE WAS HE SAID I AM IN TRAFFICE AND I ASKED WHEN HE WOULD BE HERE HIS SAID ITS NOT HIS PROBLEM TALK TO THE OFFICE IT ENDED COSTING ME AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE AN MRI TEST I NOW HAVE TO GET A NEW APPOINTMENT BUT I HAD TO PAY FOR MY MIOSSED APPOINTMENT DON'T USE 13 CABS I MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THERE SYDNEY OFFICE WHERE MY CALL WAS DIRECTED AND I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM THE BRISBANE OFFICE SO DON'T BOOK WITH 13CABS
They will try to scam you for money
After I've seen online how your cab drivers try to rip people off I will never take this cab ever again and we're starting a campaign so other people don't get screwed over as well what a joke!!!
Dont bother
Booked a taxi to airport couple of hours in advance but they only tried to find a driver on the dot and then cancelled it after half an hour as they cant find one. Then they charged my debit card and only returned after a week. Stay away as you cant talk to anyone fron 13cabs. The onky way to reach to thwm is via online enqiuiry.
ZERO STARS…ruining the last Christmas
ZERO stars … I booked & was confirmed for a wheelchair taxi to take my father to my mothers Christmas Party today at another nursing home .. I arrived early to get dad nicely dressed for the party he was so excited, we waited in the foyer & waited & waited. I began making desperate calls to the company which either were cut off or telling me the taxi was 10 minutes away .. we waited for over an hour, then I looked at the booking and saw they had cancelled it … I can not believe they could do this to a 91 year old man … he was so disappointed
I had to wheel him back up to his room & race off to my mother’s party which I was an hour late for ..shame on you 1300 CABS for ruining what will possibly be the my father’s last Christmas celebration with my mother SHAME SHAME SHAME

Absolutely rubbish service, online booking is a joke, booked 5 days in advance only to be told on the day that no taxi available, glad I didn't pay in advance, I'd use another service or walk before getting in a 13 cabs

Never use this taxi company. Why, well you book online, pay in advance so you get the fixed rate, only to have the driver not turn up. Not only that they took our money, said the journey had been completed (note that they said it had been completed before the booked time), and then made zero attempts to get in touch with me when I filed a complaint.

If I could give it zero i would. They advertise easy booking tick. The issue is when I booked I was provided with confirmation of the booking and they failed to turn up to provide the service. Do not confirm a booking if nobody is available or willing to provide it. Up to today, I used to boycott uber as I disagree with the idea that someone can enter a regulated industry using illegal tactics. No longer - cabs will die - and it is only themselves that will be to be blame.

Unreliable!!!! Cannot provide a basic service.
Booked 24 hours in advance for a disability vehicle for a child in a wheelchair. Did not turn up. Had a very distressed child that cried for hours because they couldn't do what had been planned. Gave up waiting after 90 minutes.
Tried again the next day - booked 24 hours in advance - confirmed it - called customer service twice - had it escalated to supervisors twice to confirm that a vehicle would be available. Was advised that disability vehicles were in low supply on a Sunday (apparently Saturday too). Planning your business to cope with peaks and troughs sounds like fundamental business planning that your collective leadership is incapable of managing. You have been in business for 77 years - surely you have this down to a fine art by now? Alternatively, running a model where all of the drivers are contractors is allowing this unreliability.
We compromised and said that it they could send a vehicle with a large boot, we could lift the child into the vehicle and collapse the wheelchair. We were advised that a wagon had accepted the booking and was 4 km away. 25 minutes later - it hadn't turned up.
You offer a VERY BASIC SERVICE.
I book, you collect and transport me to a location.
You obviously do not run your business or set up your systems in a way to be able to cope with the most basic of requests.
My personal advice to people in need of transport - NEVER, EVER book with such an incompetently organised and managed organisation. You will be disappointed and left to make other arrangements. 13cabs is totally unreliable and do not have the decency or appropriate systems to notify people when they can't deliver on such a basic request.
Empathy tip: For people with a disability you are more than just a vehicle - you are access to the outer world. Your poor business practices and leadership have real consequences for people.
Didn’t pick my family up!!!
I pre-booked for hotel pickup to the Townsville airport. I called to confirm the night prior. At the scheduled pickup time no one showed up. They were very dismissive when I called. Had to scramble with limited options to get a taxi and make my flight (with a large family).
I highly recommend finding other options, aside from this company.

This company needs to be shut down for the safety and well-being of its workers and of its customers. What a confused, rag tag, mixed up mess of a bunch of talentless buffoons. I book a week ahead for a wedding taxi. I confirm with a call on the day. I’m waiting outside 10 mins before pickup and BAM cancelled, no funds. Hey genius, it’s 2023, people TRANSFER THE FUNDS USING APPS. $210 of money they lost because of their own ignorance. They don’t deserve the paper their business license is printed on.

Took a trip from Darwin airport to Marina boulevard. The cab was standing in-front of the airport. During the whole trip the driver was on the phone full time and he just said open the door and put my luggages. I did that it was no problem as other states I have travelled to the airport cabs will help you. Upon paying at location he didn’t give receipt and and still was on the phone and I didn’t say anything upon taking my luggage out I forgot about the other bag. Which was my mistake. Upon calling 13 cabs for 4 days continuously they say they can’t help and don’t have record as they have thousands of trip on that day to look at so I said just check the location which I travelled too the lady I was talking too was Pooja she was so rude and said don’t get hyper when we have time then we will look at it. Most pathetic service ever.
