Excellent service from Richard and Harley. From day one they went through the programme with us and gave us advice on pattern which looks really good. He was very helpful and guided us on best layout for the different spaces. Richard is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Harley is in good hands and it is obvious he is keen to learn.
They were very respectful of our home. Everything was cleared away and cleaned each day. We are delighted with the result and would definitely recommend them.

We used the St Albans store to supply and fit us with Amtico flooring in our kitchen diner and hallway. We are delighted with the finish, which looks superb. Our fitters were Richard and Harley, who were polite, hard working and showed a great attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them again. Also, Matt in the St Albans store provided helpful advice and was on hand for any questions we had.

I can not recommend 1to1 flooring enough. Fantastic, tailored service from start to finish. Callum and Adam our fitters, were true professionals and their finished work was to the highest standard. We are so pleased with the result.

A fantastic service throughout! Matt helped advise us on the right flooring from the beginning and made the whole ordering process easy. Richard and Harley came to fit the flooring, they were polite and respectful. They helped with any extra furniture removal and spoke through every step of the process, answering questions along the way. A returning customer, having previously had Amtico flooring installed by 1 to 1 Flooring in my living room, I have just had it extended into my kitchen. I have been as delighted with the service and fitting this time as I was a couple of years ago. I'm very grateful to Matt who has assisted and advised me all the way through the process and Callum and Adam did a really wonderful job of fitting the Amtico. Callum's levels of care and attention to detail are outstanding, he is a very talented fitter. I will return to 1 to 1 for any other flooring requirements I have in the future.

Outstanding service from Richard & Harley who fitted new flooring to 4 bedrooms for us. Polite, tidy, great attention to detail and helped with options and choices when we needed it. They treated our house as if it was there own and we’re absolutely delighted with the end result - if only all tradespeople were like this.

I had Amtico flooring fitted in my Grade 2 cottage. The floors were very uneven and it was a fiddly job. I was very impressed with the skill of the fitters - Callum and Adam - they worked extremely hard over 3 days and I was delighted with the results - the floor looks amazing. I was also impressed with the service I received from the showroom staff who went out of their way to help me. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I had carpets and Amtico floor fitted. I found the staff at the St Albans store professional, responsive and efficient. Both sets of fitters did a great job; were polite and respectful of my home. I was especially impressed with the Amtico fitting, superb design job. I shall be using 1to1 Flooring for my living room once the building work is complete.

Returning customer at 1 to 1 flooring - this time for a karndeen floor in my hallway to match the flooring in my kitchen.
Came to measure and estimate and were very polite and professional.
Really helpful with samples etc so that I had the correct match.
They had a cancellation so I was lucky that I did not have to wait the expected time for fitting.
The guys fitting my floor - Callam and Adam were on time, professional and very hard working (didn't stop for a tea break!). Carried out an amazing job and I am really pleased with their work and the service I have had from start to finish.

If your working on a project, like an extension or garage conversion and or are not a flooring expert, then I would advise not to use the sales company 1to1 flooring and instead to work with a local trades person or a supplier directly.

I chose 1to1 because I’m not a flooring expert and trusted they would take care of every detail. Sadly this has not been my experience.

They are not able to estimate based on detailed plans (my little home project was a 3 meter extension). You have to figure it out yourself and provide the sqm needed. From your estimate they provide a price (80 sqm Karndean, over £6k) and request 50% payment upfront in order to have an estimator and install dates booked.

You’ll get everything planned and timed with your builders around the install date and then a few weeks later an unhelpful estimator will come round and feedback that the extended area with a new floor must have been dry for months before they can final estimate to then install their products, something they fail to disclose to you during the sales process, even after you enquire as to their screed preferences. They will then suggest paying more to keep to the installation by having a membrane put down first.

I shared concerns with management at the St Albans branch and was met with a passive aggressive email response, firmly blaming me for not knowing flooring dna and required dry times for their product.

Hearing the poor attitude of management, I have since had my money back and I’m now working with a local trades person

1 to 1 flooring provided an excellent, professional, efficient and friendly service throughout. Right from the first visit to the shop to the installation (excellent and exactly when promised) we could not have been happier

Great experience with 121 flooring Barnet. Jenny in the saleroom was incredibly helpful. Matt and Reese who fitted our Amtico floor were polite, knowledgeable, tidy and hard-working. Nothing was too much trouble, it was a pleasure to have them in our home and we are thrilled with the end result. Highly recommended.

We were so happy with our carpet laid by 1 to 1 flooring. Matt was extremely helpful and patient with us also and help select the perfect carpet for us. The carpet looks and feels great. Everyone involved was very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend using them.
