Highway Robbery still exists

This firm are a bunch of crooks.

These pretend coppers (who wish they were real ones – I think they are compensating for something) are a total joke. They even use the old Miranda rights thinking they are big men, what the hell is that about, you committed the offence of littering WHAT??? Thief’s, rapist’s and murders are on the lose and you are bothering me for putting out a cigarette!

I tried to ask questions regarding the situation, but the little man in glasses who was a total jobsworth, condescendingly told me, “we have a set procedure and we have to follow it”, as if he was some automaton who couldn’t work without his set script.

I took the first ticket not waiting for him to finish his little speech as I wasn’t as fond as the sound of his voice as he was and I certainly don’t think he liked being called a cu@t direct to his face just before I walked away and of course he did nothing.

How do the powers that be expect folks to help them to uphold the law when people are being prosecuted for hurty words and dropping cig ends, it’s a joke and not a funny one!

These lot are a bunch of vultures

These lot are a bunch of vultures. I was getting changed to ride my bike and they accused my of throwing something on the floor when I had put it down next to some other items, then when I explained, they just didn't want to know. It's as if the person has to "sell" so many of these per day. I have advised them that I won't be paying it and they can take me to court and pay the costs when my solicitor rips them to shreds. if you think I am going to be intimated by our strong arm bully tactics, then you have picked on the wrong person.

I totally agree with the other feedback…

I totally agree with the other feedback on this site. And whilst I fully appreciate the gravity of having placed a cigarette butt in a planter, already brimming over with hundreds of others, I don't really believe that this company is looking to help the environment, rather they are filling the coffers of the Councils they are employed by. They do not seem to approach anyone who may represent a threat (there were numerous 'less desirables' sitting around smoking & drinking alcohol in the vicinity) no, it would appear that they would rather seek out 'us criminals' who are clearly on a lunch break, and dressed in business wear, even to the point of quietly lurking in shop doorways until we have purchased our sandwich and are heading back to work. I was formally cautioned although I was glad to say not arrested and thrown in the back of a strategically placed, pretend Panda car! The little man who read me my Miranda rights (what's that all about?? You ARE NOT THE POLICE) obviously takes great pleasure in his job, which was clearly evident from the twinkle in his eye and the commendable skills he displayed in talking to me like a naughty child and patronising me at every opportunity. Whilst I fully appreciate that I should not have used a planter to dispose of my cigarette and have paid up, I am a professional working woman and in my line of work treat people with respect at all times. Is it also a coincidence that the prolific and unrelenting presence of these 'champions of the environment' coincides with the removal of the wall mounted cigarette bins in my City centre, or am I being a paranoid working class old cynic?

Upsetting Experience

Upsetting Experience.

I was ambushed, sat on my own, by two officers who told me that I would go to court if I objected. I completely honour the law and am an extremely respectful person- however, I felt I was not given a chance to even understand the situation I was in. I was made to feel vulnerable and left feeling very upset.

Liar

Was rushing for a train, late...dropped cigarette end on floor BY MISTAKE.. was jumped on by an 'official' who told me as it was a first 'offence' he would caution me.I'd obviously offered to pick up my cigarette. now, five days later I've received a £100 fine... £50 if I pay it now. What happened to the caution? Its completely ridiculous to have to pay £50 .he could have let me pick it up and be cautioned.. I was extremely polite and very apologetic.I feel he was completely unreasonable....

Poor

Felt like I was being placed under arrest for dropping a cigarette when there were no bins nearby. The fine is disproportionally high and there's just no need for this Policeman/ Criminal charade when neither of us is one.

Penalty for paper tissue - cellulose, for sugar.

I received for lost paper tissue penalty 75 pounds. On their website is info "Pro-active and positive interaction between 3GS’s officers and the public. 3GS officers are highly trained to deliver balanced and uncontroversial compliance services part of which is to INFORM and EDUCATE communities about the importance their immediate environment has on their community both socially and economically." I asked friendly 3 times, can they explain me, how dangerous is paper for the environment? How dangerous are plants for environment, because paper is cellulose, from plants. Person in black uniform said to me he must give me caution, but he printed ticket from paper, from a plant.
In email to this company, I asked also, maybe I'm wrong, Britannica and Wikipedia are also are wrong, and paper are not from plants but from plastic? In first respond to ref nr, person said many, many worlds about ends of cigarettes, but I said in email he's wrong and I do not smoked... Still they can't EDUCATE ME how dangerous is cellulose for environment. Still I waiting for kind education, how plants are dangerous for us environment.
