Unparalleled customer service in the broadband industry. They know of problems with your line before you do. I always recommend them to everyone I know.
The move from my existing ISP was made very easy by Aa.net.uk support and I did appreciate the support team being located in the UK. The installation by OpenReach happened on the day specified and followed by the arranged VoIP installation.

If you wish to use VOIP and your ISP does not provide the service, and you are a domestic phone user without a high level of IT knowledge, avoid this company. The VOIP service will not function properly and the company's advisers will direct you to a support web page that is unintelligible, unhelpful and in places insulting. If their VOIP service is incompatible with ISPs other than themselves then they should inform you of this before signing you up and taking your money for equipment and line rental.

As a domestic customer, not a business, giving up your landline and moving to VOIP is a scary proposition, but it was very easy with A&A.
The support team provided timely information about the move process and confirmed when it was finished.
The information provided when you order was very helpful and pointed you to the right places to understand everything.
Their support pages are extremely detailed and provide all the information to port your number in and configure the VOIP service. They also provided the information to configure Zoiper (a soft phone) with examples.
Having set it up, the service is working smoothly and I will recommend it for those who cannot bear to lose their landline number.
I’ve been a happy customer of A&A since they first started and they are the only ISP I know where I can rely on being able to pick up the phone and immediately speak to someone who knows more about things than I do! Also a big plus is their line quality web page that gives second by second reporting

I have been delighted with the service from Andrews and Arnold. Everyone I have spoken to knows what they are talking about, they have offered helpful solutions to comments I made without being asked and every contact has been an example of what customer service should be about.
After years of dealing with poor customer service, dropped speeds, and lack of transparency I changed to this company and could not fault them. It might be a bit more expensive, but the time saved has been worth it. They give you access to test your line and instructions on how to fix common problems yourself, and when there's been an issue I've needed their help with they've been so easy to get in contact with and get on it so quickly.
It's rare to find such an ethical company!

Been with AAISP for a few years now. The FTTC service has been excellent. Our own domain and email services were handled by two different companies both puting up prices on renewal each year. Decided to switch these services to AAISP. What could have been a complicated switch over was handled by their team in an excellent manner. Full marks to them all. I find the pricing of AAISP services not expensive for the quality of service I get at all times.
Been with A&A for years now. The first day, on install, openreach managed to send kelly's round to do my FTTC (VDSL) install, i thought 'oh god, this is not off to a great start'.... called the helpline, got straight through to a technician who said 'oh they do that, don't worry, i'll get it sorted'. They had my line installed by a proper openreach chap within the hour! (actually within 30 mins).
VERY little downtime, and unlike other providers, if there IS downtime, they tell you WHAT the problem is, and keep you up to date on it, and their claim of no evening slowdown is 100% correct. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Have now been with A&A for three months during which their SOGEA service has delivered all it promised in stark contrast to the "now you see it, now you don't!" Cable service offered by our previous well-know ISP. Michael and the Sales Team went the extra mile to remove all the obstructions placed in our way by their predecessors during switchover which was clearly not as straightforward as OFCOM intended! My few interactions with A&A support have also been helpful and straightforward. Altogether an ISP I have no hesitation in recommending. A little more pricey than some but well worth the difference.
After 5 years of VDSL/FTTC with A&A it was time to move to FTTP; an email to support about the process and then a brief email exchange with Mike in sales made sure that the same login and settings transferred across to the new connection. Real people, real service, real competence. I knew there was a reason for staying with A&A

Why aren't there more companies like A&A.
I used these guys over twenty years ago for broadband, and I always remember how I started receiving photos of my kit being prepared, and of their cat. Absolute techies, these guys are second to none at Internet connectivity, they just get it done. No silly offshore call centres, no bouncing around between departments, no dumbed down user manuals - Its just clean professional technical services.
Switched to A&A from Vodafone for a recent install of Fibre over Cityfibre and couldn't be happier.

There are many good things about A&A, but my favourite one is having a person answer the phone when you call. I feel like I'm back in the 70s.
There have only been a couple of tech incidents in the 6 years I've been with them, and both times they've been resolved very quickly and the level of service has been exceptional.
I can't recommend them enough and I will never go back to Virgin, BT or Sky.

I've been with Andrews and Arnold for over 15 years and have just used them to upgrade to full fibre broadband. As ever they provided excellent service, managed Openreach on the fibre installation, and seamlessly switched everything over from my existing VDSL connection.

We were among the early customers of A&A back in 1999 and were impressed with their service and technical knowledge - if there was a problem at midnight then somebody would be around to sort it out.
We have just returned to them and I'm delighted to say that nothing has changed - still the amazing 1 to 1 service, still the top class technical ability, and all at a very reasonable price.
In our case they had to fight Openreach who caused huge problems getting a FTTP line installed into our listed premises - but I'm delighted to say we're now up and running with a rock-solid gigabit service.
If you want an ISP that really understands the technology, doesn't treat the customer like an idiot, and will *never* tell you to "switch it off and on again" then look no further than A&A.

Had a huge issue getting FTTP migrated from the previous owners of our new house. Lost all patience with the big companies and sought a solution online. I came across A&A and they are absolutely amazing in all aspects of the word because they are real people based in the UK who know what they are doing and who don’t talk of scripts!
The sales team emailed me throughout the entire process, kept me up to date with Openreach updates the entire time and didn’t have one problem getting me connected when all the other providers struggled. The joys of a small team of experts with a direct in to Openreach who actually know what they are talking about.
Yes they are a little bit more expensive that the other providers but they have been worth every penny. I am so pleased to have come across them and would recomend them to anyone!!
One very happy customer!

Moved my telephone service from Plusnet over to Andrews & Arnold recently after I had fibre to the property installed (FTTP) by OpenReach. Plusnet are not able to offer a telephone service over fibre (VoIP) so I had to look elsewhere for a suitable provider. A&A is quite well thought of on the Plusnet forums so I decided to go with them. They kept me informed of what was happening at all times and everything is up and running. They seem very efficient and knowledgeable and hopefully if the service remains trouble-free I will stay with them. During the change-over period I had reason to email A&A and they called me back very quickly and soon had everything running smoothly. Thanks go to Toby who was very helpful!
I'm a long term customer (2012) and have recently had FTTP installed. A+A have done all my dealings with Openreach, including chasing them on a no show 12 years ago and finding out about line issues more recently. It's a very low stress experience, and dealing with someone who remembers the conversation from earlier is a welcome customer service experience. Wouldn't go anywhere else
I have been with AAISP for over a decade. Full fibre recently arrived in our area so I ordered it. Unfortunately the new connection did not work after Openreach installed it.
AAISP provided excellent service, dealt with Openreach on my behalf and got the problem resolved. They communicated well throughout and provided full transparency about what was being done.
