Absolutely unacceptable service

Absolutely unacceptable service. We raised an issue on December 4th, and to this day, no one has resolved it or even properly responded. We've lost £5,000 due to their negligence, and despite multiple attempts to get in touch, we’ve been completely ignored. This level of disregard for customers is shocking. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Extremely Disappointed with Service and…

Extremely Disappointed with Service and Vehicle Quality

I am writing this review to express my utter disappointment with the experience my husband and I have had with this dealership after purchasing a car earlier this year.

The vehicle in question (Infiniti Q30, Black) appeared fine initially, but in late September, it suffered a catastrophic failure. Upon inspection by a mechanic, it was revealed that the engine was irreparably damaged due to the previous owner driving it without engine oil. This was not disclosed at the time of purchase.

Our Costs:
We had no choice but to replace the engine at a staggering cost of £4,699 (£3,699 for the engine, £1,000 in labour). We have evidence, including photos and videos, documenting the engine's state and proof of prior communication with the dealership.

Unacceptable Customer Service:
The situation was made worse by the appalling customer service. When I called on 3rd December to discuss the matter, I was met with hostility and unprofessional behavior. The team member shouted at me, interrupting me repeatedly, and yelled, "I AM NOT GIVING YOU THE MONEY, THIS IS NOT MY PROBLEM."

As a breastfeeding mother with an 11-month-old baby, this caused me severe stress, stomach pain, and anxiety. Such treatment is beyond unacceptable.

We trusted this dealership to sell us a reliable vehicle, but instead, we have faced financial hardship and undue stress. The lack of transparency, poor inspection process, and shocking customer service have left us deeply dissatisfied.

I urge future buyers to exercise caution before purchasing from this dealership. This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare

No car and no money...

We have purchased a vehicle from AAA Automotive in September 2023. Seller has the money and has the vehicle, we are being ignored.
More info about our situation: We have purchased the car at the end of September 2023 and were given 3 months warranty. At the end of October 2023 we have noticed an issue with the car and escalated this to the seller. After chasing on several occasions seller eventually took the car to fix at the end of November 2023. This is the last time we have seen the car. Excuse after excuse from the seller's side, empty promises to have the car fixed 'by Friday', 'by next week' etc. Eventually in July 2024 (8 months since seller took the car) they have admitted that they cannot fix the car and they will be issuing a refund. Now it is September, there were no attempts to issue any refund.
Customer service is really dissapointing. It was always us chasing the seller, calling, messaging, visiting at the dealership, and it was never the seller coming forward with any update.
We greatly regret that we chose to do business with AAA Automotive and are really dissapointed that we have to take this matter into legal hands. At the time of the purchase reviews about the company seemed to be positive, however after we made our purchase, seems like more people are in the same or similar situation like us.

If I only knew

If I only knew
Trading Standards are informed and from the looks of it, it wasn't the first time.
In Sep 2023 I have bought a car from this dealership with the promise of a good customer service. One month later, the car started to consume coolant, sign that the water pump needs replacement. Countless calls without answer and visits to dealership. In Nov 2023 I have brought the car back to be fixed. The owner gave me a courtesy car with engine/gear issues which let me down soon after on motorway. It’s May 2024 and I still don’t have the car or my money back.
Not answering the phone and when I’m traveling to dealership I’m getting the same answer: next week. It’s been 24 weeks since you have my car.
You don’t seem to care the impact this has on my life as I’m struggling to commute to work in order to provide for my family. Lack of respect.
I would not have gave my hard earned money to you if I would have known.

Avoid this place at all costs!!

Avoid this place at all costs!!! I needed a car to help care for a family member with ill health and so purchased a car from here. Worst decision ever! The car was presented as a car that was spotless and free from any advisories on the MOT. After many issues and 9 months into the car, I took the car early to renew the MOT to find out that the car has failed on corrosion and deemed not worth repairing it's that bad and has huge holes in it. The car had these advisories in 2022 and mentioned prior to the MOT this garage took the car for. In 2023 not a mention of any of it. As a buyer it looks like it has all been fixed but it couldn't of been further from the truth .. In the process with Trading standards, and arranging court proceedings after he gave me abuse when I sent official documents as advised for a full refund under the consumer rights act 2015 for the sale of faulty goods and seem to think they are above the law. They won't hear the last of it until I am refunded and see that nobody else has this hassle!

Keep well away from AAA Automotive Gateshead

I am a pensioner 79 years old and have arthritis in my hips and knees so I need a car.As mine was past its best I decided to buy another one from the money I had saved during the covid lockdown that would see me through my days.I saw one for sale which looked ok at AAA Automotive Gateshead. It had only been mot a few weeks and had no advisories so it seemed like a good buy.A couple of weeks ago it was due for its first test under my ownership but not only did it fail,I was told that there was that much wrong with it it was beyond repair and actually dangerous. All this after only driving it for 6000 miles. How could a car deteriorate that much so quickly. However I have been told that when the mot was done last year on the 22 July it had 4 advisories,it was then mot the next day 23 July and the advisories were clear, meaning they had been repaired. Not so.Nothing had been done as the same advisories are still there during this year's test.So now I am left with a car only fit for scrap and over £2000 out of pocket. Why are people like these still trading when all they do is cause misery to people.I am now having to go into debt to get another car and with the economic situation today it's something I could have done without at my time of life.I have spoken to AAA Automotive on the phone but they are not interested and stopped answering the phone. The car I bought was a Toyota Aygo plate no SL58VOO.Go to the mot history check and check what I have said.If anyone of you are even thinking of buying a car off these people please think again.
