Took numerous attempts to get registered on line before being able to place order. Order arrived promptly and fitted quite easily.

Went to ableworld to see about a used stair lift, young girl was more than helpful and booked an appointment for the next day.
The company rep turned up spot on time when they said he would, explained everything I wanted to know.
Fitting next day, fitter also turned up the exact time, did the job superbly, explained how to use it, no mess no problems, cannot fault anything about the way this went.
Very pleased and very grateful for everyone and everything.

We purchased my husband's Rascal Apollo Life mobility scooter from your Colchester branch. After a great deal of help and advice, also checking that I could disassemble and asessemble the scooter and that I could lift the parts. We did not feel pressurised at all and had it delivered next day, with another demonstration (very useful) unfortunately there was a very small problem, which was rectified the next working day. We are very pleased with the scooter and have enjoyed 4 trips out. Thank you to all who helped. Maureen and John Jackson.

I bought an orthopedic bed from the Colchester branch a few days ago. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. They delivered the bed three days later, installed it and took away the old bed. I would like to thank all the staff and have to say that the bed is excellent, have slept better and have not experienced backache since buying it.

Really helpful and knowledgeable staff. There was no pressure to buy, but I did buy a new mobility scooter; it is fabulous. Also very happy that they took my old one to dispose of for no cost.

I cannot praise this company enough. Lovely, friendly staff. Excellent service on my scooter. I was kept very well informed of what they found and would be doing with my concent. I was also more than happy with the cost, it was a lot lower that I expected. 5 star all the way. Thank you.

Very helpful staff. Wide selection of scooters, aids, etc. Catalogue very helpful and gave me the option of buying extras for mobility scooter on line with home delivery.

The staff at Ableworld Colchester are fantastic! I needed my scooter looked at as no longer charging, along with other problems. It was picked up and replaced with a boot scooter for my to use while my big one was being serviced. The lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I went to the shop and Craig took me through all the possible scenarios, he was very patient and friendly. I did buy a new scooter but never felt under any pressure to do so. He was very very kind and helpful. The guys who delivered were also very kind and helpful. All round a fantastic shop and staff. Thank you!

Brilliant support through the years

I got my first power wheelchair from Ableworld a few years ago and I'm very grateful I did. They helped me find the one that was right for me and have always been very quick to support whenever something goes wrong. Friendly and supportive and they make sure that my wheels are working, letting me lead the rest of my life as I choose.

Thanks to all at Ableworld and especial shout-out to John for tireless troubleshooting of whatever the latest thing is I've done to my chair.

Originally went to buy a scooter but came away with a walker. Was so impressed with the service we received from Willliam that we went back a few days later and bought the scooter also. As I am left handed the controlls had to be reversed. This was no problem as Adam was on hand and did this very quickly. Both men were extremely polite and friendly. Felt that I had purchased what I really needed and not what I thought I needed. Couldn't be happier.

Purchased a boot scooter from Ableworld Colchester. Great service from Adam, who spent time listening to and understanding our requirements, before suggesting some scooters to test drive. No attempt to “upsell” - in fact we ended up being guided to purchase one of the cheaper models in the shop. Taught us all we needed to know about how to drive it, take it to pieces and reassemble it. Good to hear that the staff don’t work on commission, so genuinely want to help you choose the model best suited to your needs

We went to purchase a new walker with a seat for my Mum and they advised us very well and we purchased the product after being allowed to test in in her car boot (carefully).

Unfortunately Mum has struggled with it for reasons not relating to their sales and she reluctantly returned the walker and swapped for a different one. Mum felt really bad about it but they could not have been more kind and helpful and took back the unsuitable one and gave her a different one and refunded the difference with no fuss and genuine kindness and caring, which is rare these days. Ted especially was wonderfully helpful. Go visit Ted!

Colchester store. Recently dropped a family members mobility scooter off to ge looked at but it was beyond repair, shop very informative around this and the options with scooter. Went back into shop and the staff helped us out with a new scooter and advise on the suitability of the scooter as well as battery life etc. Gerald was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a scooter or mobility equipment

Great online shop have used numerous times for items for an elderly family member.
Fast delivery good quality products for a reasonable price.

Visited Ableworld in Colchester to have a look at mobility scooters. The female salesperson was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and knew about the products. The best thing was she was not pushy (sorry I can’t remember her name), I was able to try a couple of different scooters to see which was the best for me. I now have a scooter which is excellent, it has increased my independence and I am gaining confidence the more I use it. Would highly recommend Ableworld, thank you.

I had to return the wheelchair for an exchange for a different one which was more suitable for my present needs .The exchange was promptly done

We purchased a bed from Gerald on 14th July and still waiting for ti today 21 August, had very little feed back from anyone at the Colchester branch and in fact are waiting for a phone call that was promised at 9:00am today it is now 10:55am

Just purchased a Drive Explorer Sport mobility scooter from Ableworld and was very pleased with the service. Everything was explained clearly, with demonstrations as to getting it started and also breaking it down to go into my car boot. I even had a test drive! There was no pressure to buy just helpful advice when needed. Happy to recommend the staff at the Colchester store.
