very poor customer service and management

purchased a new scooter £1,500,within 7 months had a electrical fault, after phone calls and loads of un replied emails, was told it needed new batteries, turned out it wasn't batteries as fault was still there, had it in workshop 3 times, even after showing the intermittent fault to them they wouldn't have it, they said they sprayed with wd40 and all is well, sadly its not, had management round to our house and said they would supply me with a 3rd party company to resolve, still waiting and management refuse to respond, still has same problem and wouldn't entertain ableworld again to buy from, and would recommend elsewhere to others. the battle goes on, as my disabled wife has a scooter that is unfit for purpose,
director talks a good story, but when you have him lying on recordings, it don't hold out to much for the company, that he is supposed to be teaching his staff, although they can be just as bad from what have read, scooter know fixed by a more understanding national company, and even done for free after what i shown and told them, and i have took great satisfaction by diverting a possible 4 customers elsewhere, and will continue to do so,

Hello Mr Wood,

Thank you very much for your time in leaving us some feedback, all feedback is appreciated.

We are saddened to hear your comments about your recent experience and we are sorry to hear that you aren't happy with the level of service provided.

After speaking with the relevant team, we understand that the scooter you purchased back in September 2020 was first reported with a fault in July 2021. We tested your scooter and established that the batteries had simply not been charged sufficiently and advised you of this point. The same issue was then raised multiple times so our director came out to visit to see if there was anything we could do to help. As you were storing the scooter outside, the scooter was not getting the care needed to maintain battery life and the importance of a full charge was explained to you.

We have undertaken the above at no cost to you plus, we have shared our internal inspection reports with you. We have even offered to pay to have your scooter inspected by the manufacturer and a national mobility scooter engineering company to verify our own findings. We have had to stipulate one condition to the third party inspection and that is we assess your scooter prior to any third party inspection to ensure that it is in its original state because there have been times when we have inspected your scooter and you have swapped some parts.

If you would like one of our team to run through this with you again, please do not hestitate to contact your local store.

Kind regards,
Ableworld
