ABSTRACT TOOL is Fraud site and Scam center

I attempted to purchase a Plunge Base for a compact router, and made it through checkout (with the charge showing in my bank account as being processed). A message popped up saying that the order was received, and I should receive a confirmation within 3 days. After 3 days without receiving any confirmation, I attempted to contact them. The website listed a phone number with a 208 (Idaho) area code, even though the listed address was Sanford, FL (a residential address unrelated to the business). A message immediately came up saying the number is 'disconnected or no longer in service'. I then tried to use the online form, from the 'Contact Us' page, but after clicking submit, the page hangs and never seems to submit. I then Emailed the listed support email. After 2 business days without a reply, I sent another email and did not receive a response. I then contacted my financial institution and paid to have a reverse charge after providing my documentation on attempt to contact, without response. It took a month for the money to come back, and I'm still out the money for the charge reversal. I've now cancelled the card I used. I also noticed that the site was down for a while, recently, and has popped up again, but is no longer offering tools. Instead they are now selling kitchen appliances and household supplies. The contact information is now missing, except for the email -to which they are still not responding. The site should be taken down, and the people behind this should be held accountable to compensate those who have a loss due to their irresponsible behavior.

ABS-TOOL 240-229-5483 MD Phone # on Credit Card is someone's personal cell phone.
208-508-1323 Support number on website is non-functional.

Fraudulent Scammers

I wish I would have looked them up before I made a purchase, looking at their prices they weren't far off from other outlets but boy was I wrong. Do not shop there they are just taking your credit card information to steal your money.

Same thing happened to me

Same thing happened to me. I trusted Google shopping which was my first mistake. Charged my card but said there was a problem. Then I tried the phone number--out of service--then I went to check on these sites to see the FRAUD alarm--should have gone here first. Canceled my CC and will dispute the charge

I got scammed too

I got scammed too. Everything the other reviewers stated is true for me as well. I tried to order a new toaster oven. I placed that order, and immediately received a notification on the order page that said:

"Your order has been received via the Internet and order is ready to be processed. However, your credit card declined ABSTRACTTOOL’s attempt to authorize the order amount. As a result, your order is on hold.

Several factors outside of ABSTRACTTOOL’s control may have caused your card to decline.

Our system will continue trying to obtain an authorization and if successful we will process your order. Once your order has processed through our quality assurance team, we will send you an order confirmation email. The confirmation email will include the ABSTRACTTOOL order number and tracking information.

Please allow up to three (3) business days after this notice for the order confirmation email to be received.

Order Processing Information
For your protection, we may hold an order for verification. Pending payment verification, items processed Monday-Friday generally ship within 24 hours for standard shipments and 3-4 business day shipments. Your credit card will not be charged until your item(s) is shipped. If your order is sent out in multiple shipments or from multiple locations, separate authorizations and charges for each shipment may appear on your account."

After 3 days I tried to contact them with no success. The phone number on their website is "not in service," they did not respond to two emails, and I did a google maps search for their listed business address which showed that it is a vacant lot. I disputed this with my credit card company and was refunded my money but it still cost me a few hours of my life that I will never get back again. I wish I had found these reviews before placing that order.

Fake company!

Fake company!! Orders placed give an order declined message, yet post to credit cards instantly. Phone numbers are disconnected, and there's no response from any contacts offered (email, phone).

Fake website

Fake website! The address listed on their website is not a commercial address, it's a residential address.

If you do a Google search for the phone number, you can see one of the standard links for a fake website like this that you would get if you were to actually place an order (that you'll never receive). "Thank you for ordering from ABSTRACTTOOL.
Your order has been received via the Internet and order is ready to be processed.
Please allow up to three (3) business days after this notice for the order confirmation email to be received." This is a pretty standard message you'll receive on a fake sales website!

If you do a reverse search of the merchant's listed phone number in whitepages.com or yellowpages.com you'll get "No match found".

Moreover, if you actually dial the number listed on the merchant website, you'll hear the automated phone company message, "The number you have dialed is not a working number."

This supposed "business" or "company" has NO internet social media presence either, another key indicator that the site is fake.

These are all key indicators of a fake website. Do your own research, and don't get scammed!!
