I loved that if you pay off your lease…

I loved that if you pay off your lease in 90 days there's no interest. Plus like that if you need some furniture but can't get it due to credit Acima will get it for you for low payments. Awesome experience. Thank you

Acima is great

Acima is great, the only downfall is if we need help with maybe skipping a payment, you don’t provide that option if there is a needful situation.

I was misinformed through the whole…

I was misinformed through the whole experience. The original monthly payment I was told didn’t match what I was later emailed before my first payment. They also tacked on extra service fees that I opted out of during the signing of the lease. So my first payment ended up being even more than the email I received. Then I tried to payoff the loan and the person I spoke with said there was a payment due and that I needed to initiate a payment. After paying what I was told would be my payoff amount and ending the conversation I noticed another payment had been pulled in the midst of our conversation. I contacted customer service again and they said that there was nothing that could be done. So I was charged an additional amount automatically that I was not informed of. Had I known another payment was going through I would have reevaluated what I wanted to pay. Every time I contacted customer service they would tell me something different or they were unaware of why something happened. Very confusing and frustrating experience.

Complete rip off

Complete rip off, didn't process payment for 4 days, right before 90 days period and now I'm stuck paying over 6k for $2300 stuff. Oh wait, now I have to pay$500 every month and still owe them $2000. What kind of shit is this? I've already pay over $3000 and still have to make another 6x $500 on top of little over $2000. Complete rip off. Won't recommend this to anyone.
I will make sure all of my known people don't ever use them.
BE CAREFUL THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!!!!

This is the second time I've used this…

This is the second time I've used this to purchase tires for my vehicles. Always simple and smooth. I would do it any other way in the future. Very fair and super easy!!

This was awful

This was awful. I wouldn’t recommend anyone do this. The interest rates alone- I feel as if I paid 4X the worth of the chair. You never get to actually paying off your purchase. I won’t purchase the item or anything through acima again. Each payment was a rip off. My final payoff was the actual price of the furniture- mind you I’d been making faithful payments for over a year. It was a sacrifice to pay it off but I’m glad I did just so I can be completely done with this company.

Misleading language on app caused overdraft

The mobile app is misleading. I thought I was modifying my upcoming payment. Instead, the payment began processing immediately, resulting in an overdraft. I called customer service and was told that not only could they not stop a processing payment (huh?), but I would also have the regular automatic payment coming out even though that was the payment I was trying to adjust. Had I known what kind of headache this would be, I certainly wouldn't have gone to the furniture store in the first place.

Edit 5/7/2026: Even though this transaction has posted to my bank account, Acima still shows it as "Processing," which is a handy way of saying "We're going to take more money out of your account and not treat this as the payment you wanted it to be."

Paid off in 90 days/ Robbed on the mark-up still

Thus far, Acima's practices regarding marking up cost are deceptive. I would suggest dotting your I's and crossing your T's. Even if you pay off in 90 days, they will stick it to you with the mark-up.

I will never use a Acima again!!!!

I will never purchase anything using Acima leasing. Between the furniture store and y’all it was the worst experience ever. I was promised one thing by y’all and didn’t get it as well as you guys didn’t even call me back to let me know what was going on. I will warn people not to ever use your company.

I do not like the fact that I paid off my…

I do not like the fact that I paid off my merchandise and tried to reapply for something else and it’s taking me through extra steps to get it. Other then that the process was easy the first time around.

Sells client info

As for leasing and payments, everything was fine. Coincidentally, the day after financing through Acima, my bank account was hacked into and attempted to clean it out. Luckily my bank account was flagged and locked and funds were recovered. However this experience leads me to believe Acima sells client information and I won’t be going through them again.

Not very good the company charged me 2…

Not very good the company charged me 2 times what I paid for my sofa an extra $888.00 they seem to be a loan shark.no consideration for customer at all is went past my deadline April 7th so they charged me $1133.00 more that is incorrect and insane what is this company changing 50 percent more that's how they are cheating customer and I was never given a copy of contract from Cindy at the store if I dont get my money back ill make sure to tell my friends on Facebook and who ever i meet. Its unbelievable what they do to people shame on them ill spread the news to everyone i know. Shame on you people for cheating people.

Acima Leasing

I’m not very satisfied with Acima. I was charged fees on every payment, and even when I paid off my full balance, I was still charged additional taxes. The pricing and fees weren’t as clear as I expected, and it ended up costing more than I anticipated. Overall, the experience felt misleading and frustrating
