Not worth the money
Not satisfied with this service at all. I did the Cloud Practitioner course first. The section quizzes seemed to have a lot of questions that werent even mentioned in the lecture videos. The lab environment ALWAYS seem to be slightly different than what the instructor in the video is using. Its like they dont even update their content once its made. Once I finished and took the exam, there were a lot of questions with information that wasnt covered in the course. I did pass but its irritating. I'm nn the middle of the Solution Architect course and its even worse. After this I'll find something else.
They aren't entirely honest about…
They aren't entirely honest about the pricing. I am a student and on the website, it clearly states that I qualified for a discount so $189/annually. However, the invoice came and it showed me a whopping $389/annually. I have absolutely zero knowledge about this.
Update : They resolved the issue and refunded everything. It was also within 14 days.

Not all experts are good teachers
As a formally trained executive chef, with 30 years of experience, there are many reasons that Sous Chefs are often the ones to train the newer cooks. We tend to blow over things that need to be addressed on a much more basic level with detailed information that is needed to build on a cook's career. I have taken your associate-level architect course and passed the cert exam. I feel that Ryan blows through many of the lessons in a way that it is hard to comprehend or in fact keep up. Many times I have had to hit replay just in order to see what he was clicking instead of him explaining the process in detail. especially when he goes into CLI. I have seen some other teachers that were at Linux academy and they seem to be better teachers. Not all experts are suited to teach or are good teachers.

Not blown away
Not blown away. The platform is unavailable more often than I think is acceptable really. The quality of the courses is alright. I bought my subscription in order to pass my AWS DevOps Pro cert, and to be fair to the instructor, she did say you must go and read this and that before attempting the exam, but I think the course itself could have gone into much more detail in a lot of areas. And some aspects I found in the exam weren't even mentioned.
The reason it gets three stars and not fewer, is because of the Linux Academy courses included with A Cloud Guru. They're generally of higher quality and more detailed in my opinion.
On balance. I won't be renewing.

Don't waste your money, ACG it's a fraud, and the WORST platform.
I wasted my money buying an annual subscription (around $500USD) on this dreadful platform.
The content is outdated, and it looks like there is no curriculum developer, so the "courses" are people reading slides. Forums are plaguing with questions without answers.
I think they need to rename the company from "cloud guru" to "AWS partners" or "aws azure" but with the worst educational content. Don't hope to find here good/updated content about Linux, Kafka, Serverless, or "cloud computing". Their focus is AWS or Azure but reading slides.
Their "cloud sandbox" is limited, so don't wait to do great things with their sandbox. They offered this like "subscription premium." but it's more limited than an "AWS free tier."
They have a slack community (recently moved to discord), and there some staff members of ACG are sarcastic and aggressive. They can delete from the slack just if you are not happy about their platform.
As a platform, they are just trying to capturing naive people to get money. But keep out and find another platform.

Best training site for the price I've…
Best training site for the price I've seen. I mean training is first rate and you get the cloud playgrounds for all the labs. I don't know of any other training system that comes close.
The Platform of my choice for Cloud training
aCloudGuru has been my default choice for the last two years, giving me the opportunity to upskill myself in AWS & Azure cloud. What I like about it is that the content is refreshed and enriched continuously to keep up with the new developments.
The joint endeavour with Linux Academy just made them stronger and more appealing.
I feel part of their community and am enjoying the ride.
Great platform!
Perfect for Certifications!
Perfect for Certifications!
Excellent Hands-on Training. I did 6 AWS Certifications with it and I am continuously learning. It is just a pity that I discovered it late!
3 successful AWS certifications
I succeeded in the first attempt for 3 AWS Exams! If you take it seriously and use their service as requested, you succeed!

Courses and content is extraordinary
Courses and content is extraordinary. The price point for what you receive is unmatched. I am a forever customer!
More practical less academic please
I find the service very good, however some of the courses seem to focus on passing the exams rather than doing the job. In my case I am a technology collector, I work in Cloud DevOps and security and my interest is in doing the job rather passing the exams, I passed my masters 25 years ago in IT so no need to constantly certify. I especially like the style of Nigel Poulton and the labs are great, especially the learn so and by doing courses, they are a stroke of genius. More IAC, more Gitlab, more cutting edge gratefully received. Just one gripe please extend the functionality so I can copy the commands executed in the command window.
Very good and thorough content
Very good and thorough content. I appreciated the combination of lecture form and hands-on lab work.
has everything you need for cloud
Excellent for cloud training and…
Excellent for cloud training and especially in certification.
Ive been a customer for more than 3 years
You have an amazing service
You have an amazing service. I love the way you have learning paths. Your progress tracker is definitely a winner to keep me on track. Your hands on lab are second to none and your quizzes and exam preps are critical pieces that bring success. Finally open playground set you apart from the competition.
What cost you one star is the fact that some content is out of date. I know it's tough to keep everything fresh, but it's critical to passing exams. I am sure this something you can overcome in the near future.
