I did the Masterclass in Screen Acting (4 Weeks in April/May 2022)

Ok, like you I was thinking... "This is quite a large investment, and it is a lot of time to take out of my calendar, and there are other courses, am I choosing the right one?"

Well let me stop you there friend, after having just completed the course, these are now my thoughts... "That was more than value for money, and the time taken out was worth 3 years at a University etc. And I can't speak for other courses, but I really had nothing to worry about here."

I learned more than I knew there was to learn, and from some very knowledgeable people from the Industry. I haven't received my Showreel scenes back yet as I've just finished, but I have no doubt that the Production Quality is second to none.

Thanks Actors Studio for a wonderful experience, and for the invaluable knowledge that I can take forward with me as I navigate this very difficult industry.

Was a really good course with good teachers that work well with technique and performance I feel a month intensive was just what I needed to really get me stuck in, will keep a look out for more courses with them, I met some lovely colleagues who I have made friends with. Strongly recommended!

Excellent stuff! I went to Actors Studio with the question, 'can I act?' in mind and came back with the answer, 'anything is possible!'. Fantastic tutors and you get to work and learn from driven people who will inspire you and push you to strive for excellence!

A galvanizing month of thorough Screen training ranging from acting techniques to technical terms. Having over 20 years of experience in the business I wanted an intense course to brush up my screen skills post-pandemic and that is exactly what I got. Plus it is run by a very lovely bunch of creatives who tailor make the experience to nurture the best out of individuals.

I did the screen acting Masterclass with Actors Studio and found it to be incredibly professional and high quality training. Having gone to Drama school before I didn’t know what to expect but went by the reviews on here and wasn’t disappointed at all. The tutors are really great and working professionals from the industry, and what was incredible was they really cared about every individual on the course and about getting them to do their best. It’s an incredibly busy month but I feel like I’m not just a better screen actor but a better actor overall after the course!

I've done three courses with Actors Studio, all to a very high professional standard. Great place to learn and improve on your craft and the functionality of the industry. Highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to work with Anna. The photo shoot was lots of fun. You can tell Anna takes great pride in what she does and really wants to get the best shots for her clients.

A great story telling technique to get the right character shots which I found really helpful.

Working with Anna Chand for my headshots was really an amazing experience. She takes you through a journey and captures you with very sensible, wise eyes!

I just finished the one week course with Mel Churcher last week and it was absolutely wonderful, encouraging, inspiring and fun. :-)
This week helped me so much!
I learned a lot and it reinvigorated my self confidence.

Great course and Sarah is the best teacher!

I recently finished the Screen Acting Weekly with Showreel. I highly recommend this course to anyone from actors who are looking to get into film and TV and learn about acting on screen or for complete novices like myself. Sarah was an incredible teacher, very honest which i loved. I will be back to do another course soon!

The four week Masterclass in Screen Acting course is the absolute best course I’ve ever had the pleasure to attend. Helen and her team were super enthousiastic, kind, passionate and above all very professional. It was an honor to work with the experienced tutors during the course. They took their time to get to know us all and to make sure we got the most out of these four weeks. If that wasn’t enough, you get to do all of this at the Pinewood Studios! Whether you’ve already had screen/stage experience or none at all, you WILL leave a better actor! Thank you guys for everything!

I attended the 4-week screen acting masterclass & which sadly finished last Friday. It does exactly what it says on the tin!
The quality of tutoring & instruction is second to none and keeps it’s foot on the gas throughout. The course is hard work & not for the fainthearted and there is homework & prep most nights for the following day but if you want to kick-start your screen acting journey and already have a little experience & are hungry for more then this is the course for you.
All the staff & tutors at the Actors Studio are currently working in the industry & at the top of their game. The location is at the heart of the movie industry & there is so much movie history at Pinewood it’s amazing. Consider it an investment in your future & jump in, you won’t regret it!
I stayed at a local AirBnB during the week which was so convenient as the M25/M40 can be painfully slow at rush hour. I would recommend this if you live any more than an hour away or outside the tube network.
I’ll be returning for new head shots and voice reel next month!

Tip: Practice learning lines/dialogue…you will be doing a lot of it!

I attended the 5 days course with Carolyn Pickles and it was so immensely satisfying, helpful, such a great experience! I feel I have learned so much as an actress but also as a person! The staff at the Actors Studio, particularly Helen and Harri with whom I spoke more, are so wonderful, great people, always treating us with respect and like old friends, and they're brilliant at their job and make sure things work smoothly. The space we're given is big enough and very well prepared with props and everything to help us achieve our best performances. And Carolyn is one of the most formidable persons I have ever met, an extraordinary teacher and someone you can always learn so, so much from not just about acting but about camaraderie, and directing, and being a good person, and about this industry and how to work and behave in a filming set. I have loved every minute and was very sad when it came time to say goodbye. Won't forget!

Wow! What a month. The course with Actors Studio was incredible led by some amazing people in a really creative and fun environment. I have loved every minute and felt hugely supported every step of the way. A huge thank you to all of the tutors and team, especially Nathan who completely changed my approach to acting and taught me more in a few days than I ever learned at drama school! Showreel filming was awesome and I can't wait to see the final reel. Missing the course already1!

I am very satisfied with the quality of teaching offered at Actors Studio. I have taken the 5 week/showreel course taught by Hannah and I would recommend it to anyone still wondering if they should sign up. I have also taken the script analysis course and it is also totally worth taking.

We have not yet attended the course we booked due to the delays of Covid, but the service we have received from the Company has been absolutely exemplary.

Every communication has been dealt with professionally, courteously but above all, with so much care and kindness.

In a day and age when excellent Customer Service is no longer the norm, I could not commend Actor's Studio more highly. They have honestly renewed my faith in good service, consideration, honesty and professionalism.

I am an actor whom has shot head shots with a couple of different photographers, but working with Anna Chand, is my best experience to date. I cannot recommend actors studio for all of an up and coming actors needs. I can’t wait to be back at pinewood and back at actors studio. I’ve recently done a rising star showreel shoot with The Actors Studio and I couldn’t recommend them enough! They are such a talented team and I am so pleased with my finished showreel! Worth every penny!
