ADA is the best! I have never had such a positive experience renting a car. Special thanks to Alexander who is personable, helpful, and professional. He even came from his home to meet me at the rental place so i could get my cell phone i left in the car.
Truly extraordinary service!!

We hired a car from Ada. We chose not to pay Ada's expensive excess reduction because we are not in the habit of damaging rental cars.

When we returned it, the agency asserted that we'd scratched the vehicle along the left side during the hire. We don't believe we did, but Ada's photographs from the time we hired the vehicle are so poor that it is very difficult to prove that we didn't. In addition when we picked up the car it was rather dusty making it difficult to properly assess the state.

Having asserted that we damaged the car, we were put under pressure to sign an agreement saying that we had damaged it (since Ada had 2500 Euros of our money as a deposit, they had considerable leverage and we didn't feel we had much choice). Ada have then passed the car to a lcoal garage that is suggesting a cost of 1500 Euros to repair what is, essentially, a light scratch along one panel. They are, for example, suggesting that the paint will cost 400 euros and the labour 600 euros. The sum of money involved is suspiciously high, which along with the fact that there were several dings and scratches on the vehicle already when we hired it, suggests to me that there is no real intention to repair the scratch, but that the local Ada agency is using a dishonest garage to provide unrealistic quotes in order to extract money. Obviously if that is what is happening then it is a criminal act.

What is more the garage that Ada are using are trying to get us to pay the money to them directly which would be in addition to the 2500 euros that they already have.

I can't recommend this company.

Don't bother being on time to pick up your car. I had a booking at 8:00 am and didn't drive away until 8:45.
This is now the third time I have experienced tardiness.
Expect to fill up your vehicle before you leave. Vehicles are not fuelled up. When I questioned the person about this he just said that's the way it is.
I did make a mistake on my return time, but no one had checked my booking. If they did they would have seen that it would not have been possible to do 500 km in 1 hour.
Not happy.

Everything was good - although the car was in quite bad shape... lots of dents and scratches... which wasn't a problem for us since it's a van and we went to the decheterie but it might be for others who will use it in areas where the car has to nice looking.

I rented a car from the Verdun ADA and I chose not to pay the optional insurance coverage. Because of this, ADA put a hold on my credit card for 2,500 euros in the event of damage to the car. I returned the car with no damage, which the rental agent attests to, but the agent did not know how to issue a credit to me. The damage deposit has not been removed from my bill. I have had to call my credit card company in order to file a protest. I hope this will be resolved soon.

We arrived at a different terminal to our son and his family, hiring two cars, so it was a bit complicated, but the guy doing the handover made it all easy.
