If you as a customer report an issue…
If you as a customer report an issue you have experienced with there service. Do not expect any reasonable response from them. They don't care about there customers and show nothing but contempt for customers. Appaling customer service.
Awful
Awful. I have a parcel stuck in limbo and apparently 'not in Ireland' even though I received notification from AnPost the package is in Ireland and have paid the VAT charges issued by An Post.
The customer service person I spoke to in An Post told me to contact the original senders?? Even though I have received notifications from both Address Pal and An Post that they have my package.
I'm not hopeful I will ever receive this package now and I urgently needed it for this weekend.. Really, really bad
Addresspal is very unprofessional
Addresspal so unprofessional. if you can avoid them stay clear. it is complete nightmare dealing with them. More like scammers.
Worst service experience of my life
Worst service experience of my life. Overvalued my item to three or four times what it is worth meaning that I had to pay customs charges more than you paid for the item in the first place, plus another hidden an post processing few for the privilege. Customer service is a joke, a postal service asking me to arrange a courier myself to return an item.
Once item arrived three weeks late I could not believe it!! After paying extortionate charges to release my item as customer service giving me little other option, it arrived 15 days later, BROKEN!!!! After paying charge upon charge to these crooks my item is broken beyond repair and rendered worthless. Requested reimbursement for the damaged item and it was refused on the grounds that the packaging that they themselves had used to pack my item was not correct. Absolutely unbelievable!!! Avoid this service at all costs.

Appaling service.Package delivered to USA address 5 weeks ago.No delivery. No response to email
Tried e mailing 6 times no response Next step legal
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless, customer support is shocking no help answering like robot no sense. Shame An post you should be the best in Ireland but you are joke.
No comment for this company. If you can stay away
Addresspal are branded as an AnPost…
Addresspal are branded as an AnPost company. It’s all over their homepage. Unless you have a problem. Then, apparently, addresspal are a completely different company to AnPost . Overcharging vat with no attempt to establish value is very underhand.
Stay well clear of these scaming…
Stay well clear of these scaming thieves they robbing packages this year's and no way to get it back or be remburst for them KEEP CLEAR AT ALL TIMES
Pointless service- if you buy anything…
Pointless service- if you buy anything in the UK to ship to Ireland you have to pay the customs and VAT charges anyway. I didn't realize this and now have to pay for a courier to pick up my package and return to the seller as addresspal don't help with that at all. The company will be gone in a few months as it has no point.
Honesty is the best policy.
The minimum charge for addresspal is 10 euro , not 6.50 as advertised. (at the time of this review)
When you pay the 6.50 you are drawn into a stupid convoluted scam to extract 4.50 euro extra. The service could be good if they just charged 10 euro in the first place. The scam is fooling nobody and just causes a 4 or 5 day delay in delivery and lots of unnecessary communication.
They hold your package hostage and make…
They hold your package hostage and make you pay an "admin fee" of 3.50 for ransom. Not only that they converted £20 to €33 to slap a higher VAT on it. Shameless thieving criminals.
I have to agree with all the negative…
I have to agree with all the negative comments I have read , just been the victim of An post a 2nd hand cd from the UK costing 7.70 and I have just been gouged for 10.00€ by an post excluding VAT , 1st and last time using this service
What a joke
What a joke. Ordered an item from the US that was 12 dollars. Address pal charged me 16 euro to process it . Then I get a customers charged of 9 euro including another handling fee from an post 3 euro. Have I not already paid 16 euro for this service? So customers add up the address pal charge and the item value to get there's customs charges. 16 +12 =28. The item is worth 10 euro. Hello. Yet again being robbed in this country. Joke. Avoid at all costs
Please never use address pal
Completely exaggerated the price of my item.
My package was worth 28 euro. An Post quoted it as 50 euro and made me pay 15 euro in customs.
Welcome to hotel california such a…
Welcome to hotel california such a lovely place where your parcel can check in but can never leave!!!
Very Unreliable
Very unreliable. UPS tracking shows my package was delivered by UPS to Addresspal New Jersey one week ago.
There's no sign of it on the Addresspal website.
"Customer Service" is only an answering service run by people who don't have a clue. The people who answer the phones are not Addresspal employees.
There's no way to speak to anyone in NJ to find out what happened to my parcel.
Judging by the deluge of complaints on Trustpilot and the lack of any response from An Post - it's very clear An Post doesn't care in the slightest.
Thank you An Post for absolutely nothing.
My parcel never arrived - AVOID
Amazon confirmed delivery of my parcel to the UK AddressPal address, which I could see on their system, yet no sign of it on AddressPal. None of my numerous follow-up emails to AddressPal over the course of the month were replied to and all my phone calls to them went to voicemail, again none were replied to.
I will never use them again and would urge everyone to avoid An Post’s AddressPal at all costs.
Parcel Never Show UP
Ordered golf clubs from the UK, paid the custom, but the whereabout of my package is not known.Checked with Addesspal on its status, they say the package is already in Ireland, in the An Post custom and waiting to be cleared after I paid the fee.
Reached out to An Post and they asked me to check back with Addresspal. To quote An post: "Unfortunately in this case, the item never arrived into our network/customs office". So they asked me to go back to Addresspal again & to ask them to investigate the matter.
Rang again to check with Addresspal, and absolutely NO ONE answer the phone & it went straight to the mailbox. Sent a few emails too, and it wasn't answered.
In sum: avoid this at all cost.
Never order anything that needs customs
Never order anything that needs customs
To be clear the local postmen are fantastic, they'll always do their best to deliver and are friendly and reliable. The Dublin customs office though... I'm sure they can't handle the parcels and are bouncing post for no reason on busy days to buy some extra time.
It's pot luck as to whether your package will make it through customs (through no fault of the sender, I had a package bounce, go back to the UK, go straight back to An Post from Royal Mail and then get delivered, no changes to package ) and once it does get through they'll overvalue the item and charge you an administration fee for the pleasure.
AddressPal's Scandalous Charges
An Post's AddressPal literally charged me more for their "services" than the item was actually worth ...
€6.50 to receive the item
€2.50 VAT
€3.50 for the inconvenience of the item having VAT
That's €12.50 for an item that cost £5 (inc. delivery)
