Very helpful
This is an update to a negative review I recently gave to ADSR. Their Customer Support guy persisted in his assistance with me & we finally got the plug-in I had ordered to install correctly (I had to do an "offline" install). I'm not thrilled with how convoluted & esoteric (not to mention lengthy) the simple act of buying a plug-in was - but I understand that companies need to protect their property. ADSR was consistent & empathetic to my frustration & naivete' and never gave up with thoughtful suggestions.

Actually decent service (Changing my review)
Not sure what to rate this. Bought a plug in from them and it was a very good deal. Apparently, there was a pricing error and they are forcing a refund to cancel the purchase (even though the product was activated and has been used). This is an industry (not just ADSR) that regularly super-inflates their regular price and offers massive discounts (just look at their charts - it's not uncommon to see discounts of 90+% off). That said, they tried to make it right. I took them up on their offer with another piece of software. Once I had tried that software, I didn't really find it met my needs (I should have used the demo more). They were quite good to actually issue a refund when I requested it. It's not necessarily whether mistakes are made - it's how you deal with the situation and I feel more confident than when I first wrote this review and I would use ADSR again.

Forcing refund on their mistake, but will never refund on customer's mistake
ADSR forced a refund for Nectar 3 which they were offering a price of $12.50, a clear pricing error, their mistake.
Problem is though, that as far as I know, a refund is not possible for plugins after they have been activated.
Matter of fact, according to THEIR policy, it's up to them to choose to give you a refund, "maybe", "if they feel like it":
"""Due to the nature of digital downloads we offer refunds on a case-by-case basis. If you have find any issues with a product get in touch within 14 days and let us know. By completing a purchase you agree that the issue of a refund will be made at the sole discretion of the ADSR Staff and that all decisions made by the ADSR Staff are final."""
So, any normal customer WHO MADE A MISTAKE and asks for a refund will never get one.
But if they're the ones to make a mistake, IMMEDIATE FORCED REFUND AND VOIDED KEY.
This is not playing fair, and is not right.
A long-time user of this company
A long-time user of this company. Come to find out the links they have on your "MY ORDERS" section expire. That means you have to reach out to someone to give you access to things you've bought. This wait can take days. Not being able to access my tools can kill a business/creative relationship.
EDIT: WOW. I hope you guys read her response. It's much worse than I thought. The ADSR rep is stating they may NOT have what you bought from them 2 years from now. So while they encourage the user to"back up" things... this is not a practice they engage in to ensure that items will always be there for their customers. BUY ELSEWHERE!

Extremely good and efficient customer service
I had a little "hiccup" with an order and let me tell you, that customer service is one of the best. It happened during the Black Friday so they were pretty overwhelmed, yet I got a quick answer from the customer service and they were very efficient and extremely cool! The problem was fixed fast. A very good experience!
