I spoke to Volkswagen about having front and rear parking sensors fitted to work on the screen on the dash I was told it can’t be done it had to be factory fitted. I spoke to Tim at Advanced in-car technologies and was pleased to hear yes it can be retro fitted and was not a problem. Tim sorted everything out including having them fitted at Loughborough so I didn’t have to drive to Poole I cannot praise not only Tim but the fitting team at Loughborough enough would certainly recommend them and be happy to use them again.

Simply the best service I have received from any automotive garage, and this is my 40th car.
I have a new Smart Fortwo 453 (my seventh smart), which I was unable to order with the prime premium plus specification because of the cessation of petrol models. With the help of Advanced In-Car Technologies I've been able to add the elements of the plus package I wanted to my prime premium. I fitted the tweeters, exhaust trim and arm rest myself, following Tim's excellent youtube videos. In was so pleased with the results I booked my car in for autolights, fog lights, full ambient lighting and reversing camera upgrade.
I arrived at their Poole premise to be greeted by Richard, who was the technician working on my Smart, and handed him the keys for the day. I received the car back as perfect as when I left it, with all the new additions installed. I am very fussy about my cars and it was so refreshing to find a company that treated it with the same care as I do.
I have no hesitation in recommending Advanced In-Car Technologies to anyone considering the first class services they offer.
I've always run a Smart as a second car and in my experience many premium car dealerships could learn a lot from the customer experienced offered by this company.
I had further work done on my car today and it just confirmed how good a company this is. Richard went above and beyond to help me with a problem that I had with the car.

Since purchasing two new cars we decided to have the above upgrades added. However, through the dealers these upgrades would have been astronomical in price. We wanted to find a company that would fit Audi and Skoda genuine parts quickly and at a suitable price. Although we lived in Gloucester, Travelling down to Poole for the day to have both cars worked on for a fraction of the price seemed a no brainer. This company has very high reviews online and seemed professional. I am so very impressed with the work that this company has done, particularly on my Audi which due to tinting, trying to reverse safely was a nightmare! Now it is a breeze! Not to mention that having a front facing and rear facing dash camera hard wired in makes the public think twice about opening their car doors to close to my vehicle!

I can't thank them enough for the amazing work they have carried out and I will certainly not hesitate coming back to this company in the future for any further work that I need doing on this or a new car.

Yes, we could have had the work done closer to home but not to this high standard with genuine parts used.

Had front and rear parking sensors fitted to my daughters 18 plate Polo automatic. Looks like it was factory fitted with audible and visual display on the main console. Front parking will need manual activation from a switch included on the panel while reverse parking automatically turns on the sensors. I would recommend Advanced in-car technologies for their professionalism and attention to detail.

After VW quoted me a ridiculous price, an internet search located Advanced In Car Technologies for a RNS510 system
The contact, I had a couple of conversations with Tim, the knowledge, overview of the company and his honesty lead me to make my choice. There were two options at Poole or home location ( London).
The Arrangements : date, home location, engineer visited promptly for the retrofit. It ran like clockwork - top notch and fitting completed in a couple of hours.

Had a subwoofer fitted under double passenger swivel seat in my vw t6 camper, they had to modify a few things to make this happen as it was from far a straight forward job.

Having contacted ten local BMW dealers to get quote for reverse parking camera on my 530e, only one dealer responded but advised they unable to fit the camera within my time frame, as they have to source the camera fitter externally. However, Advanced In-Car Technologies' YouTube video displayed the reverse camera that I was looking for. So, I decided to driven down to their workshop in Poole to get my camera fitted. The quality of service was platinum plus. Lisa, Richard and James were very pro-active, and looked after us in the customer lounge while the camera was being fitted. I would recommend Advanced In-Car Technologies for your in-car after market; Audio, Visual and Entertainment systems. This firm is specialist in the said field, and those of you who own super and high-end cars, you will not find anyone better than Advanced In-Car Technologies at competitive price.

I couldn't recommend Advanced In-Car Technologies enough. I had a reversing camera and a front/rear dash cam fitted to my VW Tiguan in March. The work was completed to the highest standard, the price was very competitive and the service was outstanding. I had travelled from Kent with my partner and our 2 month old son. The owner of Advanced In-Car Technologies was kind enough to drop us off and collect us from the town centre whilst the work was being undertaken so we did not have to wait on site. This level of service goes above and beyond what is expected. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the work is second to none. I would not hesitate to use this company again for any future work I would like completed on my vehicle, they are truly excellent.

I had a reversing camera fitted to my VW Touareg, the staff were very friendly and helpful and carried out a first class installation, they are a very professional organisation who genially want to give a first class service. I am very pleased with the work.

I had a reverse camera fitted into my VW Passat estate. When I arrived I was introduced to the whole team and they explained the procedure of the fitment thoroughly. The job was carried within the timeframe they had quoted me. James took me through all the functions and was very courteous and took his time explaining everything. I had a few issues with the software on my car showing up some faults which had nothing to do with the camera. But James took time out to go through the faults and resolve them. I recently purchased the VW optical parking sensor kit from Advanced In-Car Technologies. What an amazing team to deal with. As I live on the Isle of Man I struggled to find an installer to fit the equipment I purchased, my local Volkswagen Dealership hadn’t a clue how to install the equipment. I then emailed Tim at Advanced In Car Technologies who then put me onto one of their satellite installers, Wirral Car Care based in Neston on the Wirral. Lee and his team done an amazing job on my VW Golf. I can’t praise both Advanced In-Car and Wirral Car Care enough ! What a great combination of customer service, knowledge and professionalism!
