What a rip off

What a rip off. I asked to cancel my contract and requested my 50e deposit be returned. I was told it took 6 weeks, why? Guess what, it was not returned, so I called again. To be told to forward a copy of the agreement, why? they had the original. All time wasting !
Anyway, mid June (6 months later) I received a bank transfer of 10e. When I called again, I was told they charge 40e to collect the router !

The worst provider of them all

The worst provider of them all. Slow, unreliable and I am trying to return the antenna to get my depost back for 6 months now. They had me send it to an address and got returned, promised someone will pick it up and now they are ghosting me. Stay away from them.

Since being taken over by Avatel…

Since being taken over by Avatel Telecom about 2 years ago they have vastly improved.

However:

Customer service is still not as professional or responsive as they could be but after continued persistence and polite reminder, with supporting data from continuous speed tests, when the technicians were eventually dispatched to check equipment and configuration they could not have been more helpful, professional and friendly.

Over a period of a few weeks they tried and tested three different technologies - Airfiber, Wimax and Mimosa (although may be some overlap here, I am not clear).

Because of our remote location 'el campo' it turns out the older technology works better, which we now continue to use.

At one point we even considered Starlink, only recently covering our area, but given Avatel's sterling efforts we decided to stay with them, Starlink still being an unknown quantity.

NO internet - extremely slowly- NO internet non stop

We have a very bad experience. Internet is non stop not stable, no internet for days or back to very slowly. Many emails sent, nobody care even to answer.
We will change this for other company now.

We also red that many people had big problem to get deposit back from Aeromax who was just ignoring them, until they complained to OMIC.

Terrible

Terrible. They started off okay but for the last few months the connection often goes off and it is difficult to speak to them. When you call the helpline the telephone cuts off after pressing one of the buttons on the automated reply. Their WhatsApp does not work. They do not reply on Facebook. They may reply to an email one week later. They say that the problem is on my end but it is not. They have no manners. I do not know how they can be in business. Extremely disappointed with the service service. I am looking for a new provider.

So after calling them each day for two…

So after calling them each day for two weeks technician actually came. He was very surprised that I was calling to the help desk every day for two weeks. He said I was almost free for this few weeks ... so now we have the same issu again no internet and this time they do not pick up the phone...

No Internet service for a month

No Internet service for a month. was told no engineer available from 21 December 2022 until after 3 Kings in January 2023. No one ever called us back when they said they would. Deposit was given In cash to engineer when we had it Installed and now we have cancelled our contract with them they are tell us it will take 3 months for deposit to be returned. The day we called to cancel contract they wanted to collect equipment the next day. Shame you couldn't get us a reliable service in such a quick time. I recommend you look at other providers. service is shocking.

I finished the Aeromax contract

I finished the Aeromax contract in May 2022. Reason: very poor technical performance. Customer service does not respond to mails.
Since then I try to get my deposit of 50,- euro back.
Again no reaction from their customer service.
Very poor company.

Great Service

I have had Aeromax for several years and only saw this review site when I was looking for other things. I have had the occasional glitch in service, but Aeromax have always been very quick to investigate and problems always quickly solved. I can only assume that Aeromax have not been chasing all its satisfied customers for a positive review. Keep up the good work Aeromax

1 star is to much

There is no provider more worse then Aeromax. 10 days without internet, I called them daily, promisses, promisses, but no help, any support or a visit. Stay away or run as fast as you can!

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Signed up with them in 2019. Fine at first but over the last few weeks service has been very patchy, frequently dropping out for minutes or hours with no explanation. Customer service dreadful. Can never speak to anyone other than 9-6 Monday to Friday. emails not responded to, no way of escalating problems. Actively searching for replacement provider.

Services from employee is good! aeromax has not a fast with refund deposit for lease routers.

The man who instalate the router was very helpfull. And when the internet was not working
I called the service number, they helped me correctly. But when I moved to an other place and I delivered the router, I realize that
Aeromax is not so fast with paying back deposit.
I´am waiting now for almost 5 months to get my money back!!!! I delivered the router in september last year 2021. And now we are in february 2022 and still I can van call every day to get my money back.

I only gave 1 star as you have to click…

I only gave 1 star as you have to click on 1. After being with them for many years today they come to remove our Internet. Water getting in dish/cable that we rent from them blowing the electricity, response, claim on your house insurance shocking customer service 💩💩💩

How is this allowed to continue?

I was genuinely shocked by the serious allegations below, especially since my experience with Aeromax until recently had been quite good. Others’ comments have however caused me to see my own recent experience in a new light and I am sorry to say there are no words to accurately describe Aeromax’ actions other than ‘theft’ and ‘dishonesty’ as well as apparent complete indifference to the views of its (valued???) customers.

If I were a journalist, I would be fairly confident of finding some interesting explanations from a deeper investigation of the company and its owner(s), but as it is I am simply baffled.

I am now exhausting my remedies before filing a complaint with the Department of Industry. It seems such complaints can result in the subject taking legal action against the complainant, so if nothing else that might shed some wider light on this company’s practices.

My own complaint is that when I cancelled my service after 3 years and returned all equipment, they: (a) still haven't paid back my €80 deposit 10 months later; and (b) lied about the amount I paid on installation. Minus the cost of installation and deposit, I paid €160 for the router and mast etc which I was told I had to return.

Even more than the money, I would love to get back the hours of time wasted dealing with Aeromax in the mistaken belief that it is a reasonable company that will eventually admit and correct its mistakes!

I have a second subscription at another address, and am now trying to cancel it but Aeromax is responding with apparent child-like obstructionism by simply refusing to acknowledge my request.

For the record, I allowed several days for Aeromax to respond to my above requests before posting this review. To date I have not received as much as an acknowledgment of receipt.

For the record, the company I am referring to may be trading as 'Aeromax' but it is in fact the following company with which I have signed contracts and which has billed me (not to be confused, e.g. with the pilot's school also trading as 'Aeromax'):

Please never use these people

Please never use these people. They are the worst bandits in Spain. And that's saying something in this country. Use any other provider and give these cowboys a real wide berth. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬Customer service you are having a laugh. Cowboys and clowns. Positively the worst ever. Jokers

Stay away from this company.

Stay away from this company.
The product and the service is incredible bad. Ik cancelled the contract but they do not pay back the bail. They are thieves and liars.
