From being met at the airport fresh and excited, to being dropped back there, ten days later, slightly less fresh! I was looked after brilliantly.
A great Trek to EBC, with safety paramount and a desire to get us all there - which they achieved.
We had fun along the way & I would strongly recommend Adri and her team to anyone heading that way.

So I have taken a couple of weeks to pause, reflect and remember our incredible Everest Base Camp Trek with Adri, Gelje Sherpa and all of the fantastic AGA team. It sounds like a cliche...trip of a lifetime....but the memories, the pictures and videos combined with our experienced reality are exactly that!
The AGA team helped us get ready with information we needed, created excited anticipation for the trek and supported us with the reassurance of care to keep us safe! The expectations from me and all of our group were high....so thank you Adri, Gelje and all team for delivering and exceeding!

Having just returned from trekking to the epic Everest Base Camp, we can honestly say it was the most amazing experience we've ever had!
Thanks to Adriana Brownlee, Gelje and her team at AGA Adventures, they were like family, looking after us on all levels, health & safety, wellbeing and just making sure we had the most unforgettable experience! They were so supportive and just the nicest people.
The Sherpas were the kindest souls, really helpful and always keeping an eye out for you. It didn't matter that we were slower than the rest, they would stay with you to make sure you were looked after and still enjoying the journey.
We would highly recommend AGA Adventures, they know they're doing!!

Adri & Gelje are not only the best on mountaineering expertise but amazing human beings, as well as the rest of the guides and Sherpas. They make you feel part of a family, we had fun, enjoyed the trek, talks, learned from them, meet new people and motivated us under pressure.
Our climb to Lobuche had to be done earlier than expected due to weather conditions which shows their are on top of their game and wanted us to have a successful trip. We had 1:1 Sherpas assigned, encouraging us, taking care of us until we reached our goal. As a customer you don’t feel is a transaction for them, they care for you!. 150% recommend them!

Just returned from Everest base camp trek with Aga, led by Adri and Gelje and a brilliant team. Had a fantastic time, was the right mix of challenge, and immersion in the surroundings. Great advice and organisation meant it was all a great experience I would highly recommend Aga.

We were new to trekking before our trip to Nepal but couldn’t have asked for a better introduction.

I have journeyed, hiked, and ascended on all seven continents. There’s no comparison to previous expeditions- On your first day, you are warmly welcomed into the AGA Family, fostering a feeling of community and a new home as you embark on an amazing journey together! This year I went back to Tanzania with AGA to summit Kilimanjaro for the third time, making this trip particularly memorable compared to my others; all 18 clients in our group summited successfully and safely!! SAFETY, Professionalism, and FUN were the focus at every stage. Climbing with AGA will provide you with skills you can use in future mountain adventures, as well as friendships in the mountaineering community that will last a lifetime. I’ve already booked for bigger adventures in 2025 and will continue to climb with AGA in the future.

Just returned from an amazing Kilimanjaro expedition organized by AGA.

Adriana and Gelje are fun people to be around and they made the experience a memorable one along with their local partners in Tanzania. All logistics were well taken care of and both worked hard on the mountain to make sure everyone in the group was comfortable; giving us the best chance at summitting. And we all summitted!

Around October/November 2023, I decided to join the AGA for the April 2024 EBC/Lobuche East expedition. My early conversations with Adriana gave me a perfect vibe. I had a lot of questions, all of which were answered promptly.

I received a warm welcome from Kanchan at KTM. Though it was much after 10 PM, Adriana and Gelje were at the hotel to say hello. I am short-sighted and need to wear corrective lenses and as a backup, Adriana was kind enough to offer Gelje's ski glasses as a backup for the summit push day (to wear on top of my ruler glasses if I can’t put on the contacts, that turned out to be the case eventually). I am introverted, but everyone on the team was super fun and made it easy for me. During the expedition, we all tried to remain as one group, but sometimes I was slower (like I used to take a lot of pics), and there was always at least one guide who would walk with me at my pace. I follow a restrictive diet, and the team took great care of that throughout the trip, even on one of the days when I was on a partial fast. On the summit push day, I couldn't make it to the top and felt very tired, but at that point, I was able to turn back safely.

This one needs a special mention. During the descent, I hurt my left foot, and it was hard to get back to Thukla that night. Since I was slow, Nima walked with me while Lakpa and Tenji went ahead. We were all caught in a snowstorm in the dark, and it was a whiteout, but thanks to Nima's skill and understanding of the surroundings we made it safely to the hotel in Thukla. And I had a surprise visit from Gelje the next morning, as he spent some time with us before heading off to take care of some work ahead of his Everest expedition. My left foot was swollen so badly that they didn't let me walk and instead got me on a horse ride to Pangboche.

I had to rebook my flight out of KTM, and even with short notice, Kanchan had kindly arranged for a ride from the hotel to the airport the morning after. I wasn’t expecting to make new friends when I started but I did make some with down-to-earth folks. I have already made a plan and a goal, and hopefully, I will be in Nepal again in 2025 and 2026 with this bunch.

A huge thank you - Adriana, Gelje, Nima, Phuri, Lakpa, Purna, Kanchan, Tenji (and the porters). I will be back soon. You’ll never walk alone :).

We had the most amazing experience with Aga adventures. From the beginning, we felt like they were doing everything in there power to make our experience the most memorable as possible.

We wanted to do more in less time, which required a bespoke experience. Everything we asked Adriana resulted in an immediate yes and a prompt revised itinerary.

From the moment we arrived in Nepal, we were welcomed by « a family ». Its not just taking the tourist up and down the Himalayas, they genuinely created link and connection with us by sharing their never ending passion for mountaineering. A big concerns for us doing Ama Dablam was safety. They provided some of the best Sherpas for us. Not only very nice people but the level of experience they had left us speachless. We were in very very good hands and it showed on the mountain. They were very knowledgeable, risk adverse and more importantly soo strong on the mountain, even at 6000+ meters.

We had an amazing experience and definitely recommend the company for any Himalayen experience, wether it is in a bigger group or just as a couple.

6 🌟 if I could. Fab company. Adri and Gelje really add the personal touch and want to make sure you achieve our goals. Even when we didn’t make Ama Dablam summit, they quickly reassessed the plan to see if we could fit in a re attempt.

As a relatively new Company in a saturated market of trekkers, the itineraries follow the same as all the major players but with the added extra of focus on safety and Sherpa/porter development, we really felt in good hands.

My trip with AGA Adventures was nothing short of epic! From the moment I discussed the trip with Adri, I knew I was in for something special. I wanted to tweak one of their existing trips to include Gokyo Ri, and nothing was too much trouble. I ended up with a bespoke trip that completely exceeded my expectations.

The landscapes and views blew me away every single day. From towering peaks to stunning lakes – it felt like I was in a dream. AGA Adventures made sure we soaked it all in safely and comfortably. The guides provided so much information about the mountains, the areas we trekked through, and Sherpa/Nepalese culture. The Lobuche East climb was an incredible challenge; I learnt a huge amount and felt safe at all times. It was tough but I loved every second! The sunrise and summit are moments that will stay with me forever.
Doing this trip with a small, tight-knit group felt like exploring with friends I’d known for years. Our guides went above and beyond to make us feel like family the whole time.

Last March we were blessed with doing VIP Everest Basecamp Trek with AGA Adventures and let me tell you it was the adventure of our lifetime!
We choose AGA Adventures for their mountaineering expertise (they are amongst the best climbers in this world), cultural background (best of Nepal and Europe at the same time) and safety as a key priority throughout the whole experience (remember this is not your average beach holiday!).
From the very beggining AGA met all our dates and trip standards requirements adjusting accommodation to our preferences and adapting the itinerary to our availability.
But when we really experienced how lucky we were by having them was during the trek. Despite being a challenging trek they made sure we had so much fun all the time by sharing their knowledge and taking us to unique places; and our health was taken care of every single day. They adapted every day so that we would feel our best and the result was a unique adventure that we will always remember!
This a unique trip but what’s really gamechanging is doing it with AGA Adventures!
Can’t wait to start planning our second visit to the Himalayas with the them!!

We were three friends who were fortunate enough to do the Annapurna trek in August/September 2023. What an experience to be be guided by two mountaineering icons, Adriana Brownlee and Gelje Sherpa and assisted by a beautiful human being, Fhinju Sherpa. We were guided, assisted and supported in such a professional and kind manner. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make our trek memorable. The accommodation was superb. There was so much attention to detail and Adriana and Gelje even came to say goodbye to us before we returned back home.
Trekking in Nepal changes one in a profound manner. Adriana and Gelje understands this and I cannot thank them enough for allowing me on a journey that continues in many ways.

I joined AGA Adventures for a truly memorable trip in October/November 2023. We trekked to EBC as part of a group and I then climbed 2 x 6000m peaks (Lobuche East and Ama Dablam) with 1:1 Sherpa support - I was very lucky to have Gelje Sherpa leading me on these climbs who is an incredibly skilled climber and a very inspiring individual.

From the outset, Adriana was very helpful and pro-active in helping me to plan for this big expedition. She gave me a lot of guidance on gear and very helpfully arranged for some items to be lent to me both in London and Kathmandu. The organisation of the trip in Nepal itself was flawless - everything ran smoothly and the team really went the extra mile to ensure we were all happy and comfortable. We had a great, fun group for the EBC trek and that was a very enjoyable part of the overall experience.

The mountaineering component of the trip was of course a step up in terms of the physical and mental challenges but I felt very well supported throughout by Gelje and the other members of the Sherpa team (including Dawa and Phuri). We continued to have fun despite the more serious nature of this part of the trip. After the trip ended, the Sherpas very kindly took me out for dinner on my birthday in Kathmandu - this was not expected but was very much appreciated!

Overall, I would recommend AGA Adventures at the highest level for any trekking or mountaineering trips you may be planning in Nepal. I felt the whole experience was much more personal than that provided by the bigger, more commercial, companies and of course it was great to be led by Adriana and Gelje who are both legends in the mountaineering world!

In October/November this year I did the E.B.C. trek with AGA Adevntures.
All in all a fantastic trip! Great organization, best accommodations and an excellent atmosphere!

People I didn't know at the time became friends. Adri and Gelje are incredibly inspiring people who did a great job the whole time! I can only heavily recommend AGA Adventures to anyone looking for a trekking guide!

In October 23 I joined a group from all over the world and had never met prior, thanks to AGA the process was smooth on arrival and stayed at a stunning hotel in the heart of KTM. Im glad to call them all friends!
After the brief, warm welcome and a few days to explore the city with pre organised guides who lived in the area and again was well presented and knowledgeable of the history and culture.

The majority of the team planned to do the Everest Basecamp trek and myself and afterwards one other was climbing other mountains in the region. Our successful summit of Lobuche East was an unforgettable experience thanks again to the team.
Climbing with Dawa and Geljie was just amazing. seeing them owning their craft knowing that we was certainly in safe hands.

On the E.B.C trek Adri and Geljie somehow pulled everything together so smoothly, we was on time for the important things and never had to wait longer than five minutes for accommodation, food and beverage or any other extra activities. Their hand picked guides Dawa, Phuri, Lakpa brought the whole experience together, professional at all times and really knew there stuff.

Ultimately If you're looking for trekking guide or to take on exped, AGA is the team to do it with.
