Bought a car advertised as VW Used Approved. Sales staff arrogant and defensive when questioned on obvious matter such as timing belt and gearbox. 2 salesmen pushed vehicle as 'the best looked after car on their forecourt'. Car clearly had not been inspected nor had any recent maintenance work done to it. Asked for a copy of the multipoint check (having been advused by VW Uk that they should provide) and was refused. Car returned for a refund due to a list of issues. Very disappointing experience from a main dealer. Interesting to note the same white VW Golf estate now for resale at a higher price.
My advice to Agnews - be honest in your preparation and sale of vehicles.
My advice to customers - approach Agnews with caution and don't fall for their sleazy tactics.

I've being to many car dealerships in my time and the good ones give you space but at the same time let you know their available to answer questions.
I was in Agnew Skoda & VW Belfast today and I actually had to approach staff in the hope that they might take their heads out of their laptop or stop having a good chat with a colleague to possibly deal with a customer. It seemed that everything was too much trouble for them unless you wanted a cup of coffee. Now don't get me wrong, I know in this day and age younger people don't like to talk or make eye contact lol. But a basic 'hello, hi ya doing? I'll be over here if you need anything' approach is probably old school but it still works. The showroom is very fancy and modern, but it gets boring and frustrating very quickly when staff show no interest in their job

David looked after me well, sorting out a couple of issues for me both promptly and effectively.

Katie was able to sort me out with the All-In plan and was very patient in answering my queries.

Overall, the customer service and aftercare has been superb.

Will never take my car here again. The after sales customer service is atrocious. I was laughed at twice by David and was belittled when I asked for help. I also heard how other customers in for services were spoke to and it wasn’t acceptable.

Linda and Ryan were brilliant. They kept me fully informed at all times and explained the repair process in detail and gave me all the assistance I needed .

The Agnew staff were friendly and welcoming. Andrew took care of the arrangements and updates for the timeline as they checked the vehicle and took care of the dash warning signs and slow puncture. Updating the software and replacing the tyre with a valet too. Very pleased with the service and care.

My service assistant Andrew was very helpful and pleasant in every way.

Despite my initial contact being disappointing, as I didn't receive a requested further call back from the guy in telephony, I visited the premises in Boucher Rd - wanting to potentially purchase a used car that I had viewed online. My query and subsequent appt for a test drive were dealt with by Stephen, despite his role being one of the team dealing with new cars. He was well informed on the history of the car and he displayed exceptional customer service . I look forward to the test drive after the weekend.

The car check in was smooth and staff super efficient. The car was booked in for an express 3 hour slot and pleasingly the service was completed early. Despite the main showroom and waiting area being closed for renovations, the temporary structure now in use is very comfortable and staff are being really helpful and friendly.

Unfortunately the new key provided for my VW Golf is faulty. The blade will not stay in the casing with the result that the key keeps falling off the keyring!

Express key drop off organised via text and had my car back in less than 3 hours.
