I honestly can’t say enough about Agnew and James who handled our sale. I needed to change car the same day, and James really went above and beyond to make it happen. I don’t remember ANY dealer tryin... See more

I called to the site unannounced without an appointment this morning with a tyre related issue and the level of service I received from Ellie & Norbert was next level 5 *

Just left my car in bavarian boucher Rd under warranty to be checked for water ingris in the back door . Was phoned 1 hour later to be told the warranty did not cover this problem. The car was never moved from the spot I parked in . I can assume the the warranty manager informed the service girl that they need £160 before it can be looked at. This is my 2nd time leaving my car with them under warranty to be told they need money as the first time it cost me £23 for a fuse that cost 50p. I will Definitely never be using bavarian boucher Rd again. Can't be trusted

From our first visit to collecting our keys, everything was handled exceptionally. We were taken care of by Jonathan Perkins and he was on hand to answer any questions whenever needed and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic showroom with equally fantastic staff!

Update re Agnew Audi .Collected my Audi Q8 today . Agnews conceded that in fact my Alternator needed replaced .Had it replaced at no cost to me as the part was covered under Audis guarantee. Happy to have my car back not withstanding the fact that I felt very frustrated . Anyway problem resolved
Do not have a clue but charge plenty! Always deliver incorrect diagnosis and charge plenty for a woeful service. I say woeful that is at best. Actually called themselves technicians but that is dubious of course. I have met engineers in my life from a very young age and certainly people I would recommend could be trusted. I would not put these malevolent clowns in charge of a guppy let alone a vehicle I take my granddaughter out in.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS NOT REPUTABLE!!!
ALSO BE MINDFUL WHEN YOU NOW BUY INTO MERCEDES THEY FIT FRENCH ENGINES AND CERTAINLY NOT BEST ENGINEERS EITHER??? ALL ABOUT COST TODAY AND HOW MUCH THEY CAN RELIEVE YOUR BANK ACCOUNT OF!! ALL THEY ARE ANY GOOD AT!!!!

A sad tail of dishonestly, unreliability and terrible customer service.
So we have a Dec 2020 EQC400 with 47k miles which started making a noise when driving. Took it to Agnews Mercedes Belfast for a service and fix in August 2025. They said bearing in one of the two electric motors had gone and motor is a sealed unit so motor needed replacing at c.£6,400. We argued that it was reasonable to expect the motor to last over 5 years and 50k miles. Seems we were wrong and it is NOT reasonable to expect a Mercedes motor to last that long. We were offered 50% of the cost as a gesture of goodwill but had to pay £3,200. This is where it gets even worse. They serviced the car (before changing the motor!) on day one. Gave us the Mercedes Roadside Assist from day 1. They then kept the car for 76 days and reduced our Roadside Assist by that amount as we didn't have the car. They charged us for goods not received in the service (second year in a row of doing that so use them with care and check everything as they simply cannot be trusted). The car came back to us with three significant scratches on it. We have been chasing them for final invoice, application of the Roadside Assistance for a full year, the decision making for not covering the full cost of the faulty motor Mercedes put in the car and also rectification of the scratches. Have been dealing with Owen in Agnews but he is blanking us despite numerous attempts to reach him. Asked for a Manager to call us but they won't do that either. Nothing good to say about Agnews Group or Mercedes at all. Steer clear of them. They are dishonest and simply have no care for their customers. The charging for goods not received is an appalling practice that is basically theft. Stay alert around them and go elsewhere if you have the option. We were tied as we wanted Main Dealer Service but it's worth nothing it turns out. Also learn a valuable lesson that if your £70k+ Mercedes doesn't even last 5 years before the motor goes then you're on your own. Just dreadful in this modern age.
By way of an update I got a call off Mercedes when I posted this review. Promised a call by a Manager on Wednesday. No call. Not on Thursday either. This is their approach to proving they are reliable and can be trusted. The facts speak for themselves Agnes Mercedes of Belfast……you really are an awful company. If you treat people like this you’ll lose customers. We pay your salaries guys. Wake up and engage. You’re being very short sighted.

I've being to many car dealerships in my time and the good ones give you space but at the same time let you know their available to answer questions.
I was in Agnew Skoda & VW Belfast today and I actually had to approach staff in the hope that they might take their heads out of their laptop or stop having a good chat with a colleague to possibly deal with a customer. It seemed that everything was too much trouble for them unless you wanted a cup of coffee. Now don't get me wrong, I know in this day and age younger people don't like to talk or make eye contact lol. But a basic 'hello, hi ya doing? I'll be over here if you need anything' approach is probably old school but it still works. The showroom is very fancy and modern, but it gets boring and frustrating very quickly when staff show no interest in their job
Update: Really good to see that Mr. AI had time to reply to my review.

Can I say a big thank you to all the staff I dealt with at BMW Boucher Road. I was made to feel very welcome. A big thanks to Sarah Henry who was especially helpful, friendly and professional at all times.
Under warranty issues on my approved Audi have been misdiagnosed numerous times and rework unsuccessful, in one case made the problem worse. Latest solution is to replace the windshield, initial issues reported in May and still not resolved in December.

Mercedes service in Portadown accepted warranty repair with out any problems. Repair was quick and profesional.

This is what this company claim to deliver???
The Agnew Group constantly strives to deliver the best possible Mercedes-Benz experience to every customer and visitor at their showrooms in Belfast
ARE YOU HAVING A LAUGH?
Recently had the unfortunate experience of having the “technicians???” at Mercedes dealership in Belfast do a diagnosis and also an in-depth diagnosis on my vehicle. As if a “technician???” should have had to put any vehicle on an in-depth diagnosis to tell them a clutch has gone?? Actually a major misdiagnosis as nothing at all wrong with the clutch rather a more simple fix. Was told the engine had to be removed to fit the clutch????! Absolutely ridiculous!! Would have been content if they could even tell the truth but just more “dealer stealers!!!!” Their relationship with the truth is galactic miles apart!!!!!
The cost…. Wait for it!!!!’with diagnosis and in-depth diagnosis £5000 if I had of been stupid enough to engage them to do the work!! Fortunately I did not!! Certainly never buy from them or have any work done by them as do not have a clue!! The price of their labour is outrageous!!
Guess what??? I took it to a gentleman, a real engineer, that repaired my vehicle and had nothing to do with Mercedes of Belfast diagnosis??? In fact polar opposite!!! Instead it was a wiring loom to the coil packs causing intermittent misfire that Mercedes of Belfast dealership could not find yet wanted to remove the engine at a cost of £5000 with their diagnosis. WELL DONE!!! £4000 to replace a clutch??? £1000 for misdiagnosis!!! Are you having a laugh??? Have to get in touch with media about this one. Have they not truly earned their reputation of dealer stealers??? Absolutely disgusting and abhorrent treatment but happy to take the over inflated price for misdiagnosis!!! For exactly what???
If you are thinking of buying a vehicle or indeed taking it to this Mercedes Belfast dealership to even have a simple service ??? FORGET IT!!!! Truly, avoid them like the plague!! Give them a wide berth at best!!! They have not a clue !!!! Though will always be happy to furnish you with a bill for doing absolutely nothing!! I mean what machine or diagnosis system is ever going to confirm a clutch has failed in a vehicle. Big bill!!’ That is all Belfast Mercedes dealership can deliver and should hang their heads in shame! Exactly why dealerships have well earned the name of “dealer stealers!!! Certainly well deserved in this case. Failed to spot the damaged wiring, leaking water pump or even the thermostat that had failed. Some of these were previously diagnosed by an independent Mercedes specialist. John Murray… of course you know him!!!!
No mention of any clutch issue and fortunately I took the car away from Belfast Mercedes dealership and the whole catastrophic failing. Be interested to hear how your STAR diagnostic system delivered a diagnosis of a failed clutch when I was previously told by the workshop it certainly was not a clutch! Also an email stating engine had to be removed and how big of a job it was?? Talk a good story and nothing else!!! Disgusting service and even Mercedes Customer Service, which is also a disgrace to the brand were not even interested in answering why one of their appointed dealers namely Agnewcars had failed to correctly diagnose anything, let alone what was wrong with my vehicle. How on earth the mechanic/mechanics can make such a catastrophic error is beyond me!!
They did also tout for work on my vehicle costing an estimated £1500 for discs and pads front and rear drop links front and rear and a CV boot.
Customers expect to be treated fairly but not at this dealership,Mercedes Customer Service condone their actions or lack of them depending on how you look at the whole farce that it was.
You have been warned do not buy a vehicle or have your vehicle worked on at this dealership or expect more of the same!!!! All that was visited upon me! What a woeful experience!!!Malevolent clowns is all I could truthfully describe them as!!CLUELESS!! Can make up ridiculous invoices. If a diagnosis of £200 could not deliver any fault or that a clutch had failed I totally despair. By the way I purchased discs and pads, front and rear, BREMBO NO LESS for £150 had them fitted for another £100 £250 in total! Belfast Mercedes wanted £1000 yes you read it correctly!I was told it only took an hour to replace all discs and pads by the engineer that fitted them for me!! Justify any of it, Dealer stealers…. £1000 WELL DONE BELFAST MERCEDES! YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO YOUR TRADE/BUSINESS! CERTAINLY POOR BUSINESS ETHICS THEY SEEM TO HAVE ADOPTED !!!! Anyone I come into contact with will be informed of your gross treatment be certain of that!!!!
Must be reviewing it with your service team from some distance…..like the moon!!!!!!!

David looked after me well, sorting out a couple of issues for me both promptly and effectively.
Katie was able to sort me out with the All-In plan and was very patient in answering my queries.
Overall, the customer service and aftercare has been superb.

Recently bought a car from Bavarian Belfast and there was a small issue, the car was collected immediately, the issue repaired and car dropped back cleaned and hoovered. Richard in the service department kept me updated and is a real gent. Excellent service and really appreciated, thanks Cormac

The service didn’t pick up essential repairs to the car very disappointed in this , both springs had gone in car which was discovered as soon as the car was put on the ramp by another mechanic. Driving the car I knew myself it wasn’t right . Paying for a quality service plan I would have expected more .

Will never take my car here again. The after sales customer service is atrocious. I was laughed at twice by David and was belittled when I asked for help. I also heard how other customers in for services were spoke to and it wasn’t acceptable.

Despite being asked if i wanted my car washed after the service and recall action ( which i said i did), my car was handed back not washed and not hoovered. Additionally i wasn’t told that my car was ready to be picked up. If i had not gone down to pick it up , i would not have been told it was ready . Previously i have had jaguar and mercedes cars where this would never have happened . Not good.
My recent negative experience
Prior to a booked service appointment on 17th October, I was contact by a member of your sales team enquiring if she and her colleague 9Mr Oates) could meet with me to discuss my future intentions. A meeting was arranged for 8.30. I sat in reception from c8.15 to 11.00 and no one came to speak with me. When I was completing the paperwork on my service I mentioned all of this to the service operator (Chloe Finister - she was very helpful). She obviously said something because before I left at c11.10 a young lady came to speak to me. She was apologetic but assumed I would be happy to speak with her despite the fact that she and Mr Oates had not kept the appointment they had made for 8.30. As I had other things to do I had to decline. She apologised again and said she would get Mr Oates to ring me. A month later I am still waiting for that call. Your records will show that I have been a regular customer of Bavarian. It would, however, seem that you are ambivalent whether I continue to remain as one
