Top delivery and assembly service from AGS

We recently relocated from Geneva to Jelsa on the island of Hvar, and the AGS team did a great job throughout. Overseen by Mihael in Zagreb and with customs support to clear our shipment from Sofia and Marijana in Split, the team of four guys delivered all of goods in fine condition to our home and put together various pieces of furniture - some of which were rather complicated and even we didn't know how they should be put back together!
A big thanks to Dario, Matija, Petar and Vislav for their fine efforts. In particular, we were pleased that you agreed to remove a couple of old sofas and TV with its stand which were left by the previous owners. That was a big help to us! We highly recommend AGS Movers to other persons who may be moving to Croatia.

Move to Ireland

I contacted AGS to help move from Croatia to Ireland. Their process was very straightforward and easy and the employees were quite forthcoming and helpful. The moving team (Silvijo Krnić and Frano Jukić) were very good. They helped a lot, were patient, clearly explained what they were doing and made sure my items were sorted and marked fragile and protected, if necessary.

Great service

Great team. Great service. Excellent communication. The move was from Doha, Qatar to Zagreb, Croatia, realized without any objection.
Special thanks to Ms Ljubica and Mr Davor in Zagreb AGS team, as well as Mr Rohan and two Philippino guys who came to tape and pick up the boxes in Doha AGS team.

Not internationally capable

Can't say honestly that this was the best international move experience and this is not my first time. It did however feel like a new experience for AGS. The truck that arrived on the pack day was smaller in size than the amount the AGS surveyor based the estimate and quote for the move on. Not a good start to the day. By the time 5pm came around and it became clear no matter how much they tried that it wasn't all going on the one vehicle, they then scrambled to work out a back up plan. Given that they couldnt seem to be able to get a hold of anyone at the main office at this time of day it didn't improve. Despite then sending a lot of money over to AGS to extend the storage of my goods, they took the opportunity to charge further through the nose to invoice an exorbitant 600 euros to change the delivery of my address by an hour in journey difference which then took 3 weeks to finalise and fix on a date to arrive. They softened the blow by 'covering the first 200 euros'. When my belongings eventually arrived some of the furniture had been wrapped so badly the paper was hanging off in ribbons. They took zero care. I would not trust the company with an international move if you actually care about your belongings arriving in swift and stable condition.

Filled in an online form on AGS website…

Filled in an online form on AGS website and was promptly replied by a sales office based in Taiwan the same day, 16th Feb. I replied back immediately and haven't heard from them since. I even gave them a follow up email to no avail.
Glad this happen actually, imagine if I had engaged their services and ran into any issues, they will just park me in a corner and pray I go away. Sharing is caring, there are plenty of options to choose from.

We move our entire house furniture from Zagreb to Slavonia. Everything was done in accordance with our agreement. The schedule was respected at the pick-up and delivery, and nothing was damaged.

Very impressed with AGS Bucharest

I stored my furniture in the AGS facility in Bucharest for 13 months and then AGS delivered the items to the UK a few days ago. I had an excellent experience with AGS Bucharest, more specifically with Vlad Leontescu, who is the most efficient person I’ve ever dealt with, ever! I was also very impressed with the two Romanian delivery men. They unpacked the boxes (around 33 in total), assembled the desk and coffee table, and removed all the empty boxes and packaging. I think there’s a reason why the UK has welcomed Romanians with open arms post Brexit; they’re hardworking and do the job.

Hong Kong to United Kingdom

I was forced to relocate from Hong Kong back to the UK at reasonably short notice. I had not managed to secure a new home in the UK and I knew my belongings would need to go to storage. Having all of my things in Hong Kong, I was concerned about insurance and took out additional insurance with AGS which cost me well over £2000.

The movement of my container took from end of January until the third week in April via sea. During this time, my boxes were unloaded once to transfer to a larger lorry in Hong Kong then unloaded again at the AGS warehouse in Hong Kong awaiting a container ship. Eventually, having reached the UK they were loaded onto a Whites, subcontracted mover’s van for transfer to storage.

On arrival in storage, the removal men were seen throwing my things around with little respect for them. This was seen by the Storage Site manager who said that he had never seen anything quite as unprofessional.

I needed to keep my things in storage for 6 weeks as I had nowhere to live until then. When I finally was able to unload, there was significant damage to furniture - somewhat predictable after what had been witnessed. Fortunately I managed to get the damage repaired at a cost of £500.

On contacting AGS they distanced themselves immediately from my claim saying it was over 4 weeks since delivery. However, they knew my belongings were going to storage, they knew I had nowhere to live and they happily took my money for the extra insurance.

It was bad enough leaving my home of 16 years but the moral compass of AGS is questionable. Be warned about taking out extra insurance, even if you explain the circumstances. Finally, be aware that they may sub-contract to other companies: if I had known Whites were to do the last leg I would have insisted on another company as Whites trashed my furniture last time I moved.

Having seen AGS's response, their claim I hired a third company to move my things is without substance. As they say that the damage caused by Whites is hearsay, I will combine the two companies then. There was no third contractor - I moved everything myself using friends who had far more respect for my belongings than those involved getting my things from Hong Kong to York.

The decision was based on the insurance policy found on the contract documents sent to you prior to your move. We are sorry about the outcome, yet these elements were meant to help you familiarise yourself with the workings of insurance in an event of a claim. This claim was made months after delivery to the storehouse and AGS sent you a few reminders.
AGS carefully chooses their subcontractors we regret you had a claim when you used the ‘’White’’ company. While damages are unpredictable during a move. Claiming that the ‘’White’’ company is exclusively responsible for the damages based on a hearsay is certainly far-reaching seeing that a third company you hired at your own for final delivery to your home handled the shipment as well.

Catastrophic

Catastrophic
They loaded our entire home and expensive instruments including a piano and two full recording studios into a container that had a hole!!! They did not verify that the container was waterproof before the Atlantic crossing to the USA.
We have lost everything , ruined, even our baby’s toys and clothes!
They also under estimated the volume and made us pay extra , months after we had signed the contract and this is supposed to be their responsibility .
Communication has been terrible since the discovery of our ruined container. I have asked so many questions and get no reply.

Professional door to door service

I used AGS for a door to door move from Europe to Canada. The move was professionally handled from start to finish on both sides of the Atlantic. In particular, Mirko in the Prague office did a fantastic job coordinating the move and responding quickly and thoroughly to all my questions and concerns. He was always very pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable, and it was clear that he is on the ball with everything that is going on. On the Canada side, Rovelle from Brytor and the Brytor Calgary team were likewise very responsive and helpful in guiding me through the customs process and organizing the move from the port to the house. The movers, Alex and Derek, did a super job manoeuvring some heavy and awkward furniture with great care. Unfortunately one item had sustained damage at some point during the shipment. The insurance claim process was clear and smooth.
All in all a positive experience and a big thanks to Mirko for coordinating such a seamless move in the middle of a pandemic.

Professional and true to their word

Great experience with AGS movers. Very professional from quote to the doorstep delivery. I had to move from Doha to Melbourne and contacted a few of the companies in Qatar for shipping my stuff. Ashley, the GM of AGS Qatar came for inspection and quotation. He explained with clarity and in detail including the unexpected charges I should be vary of (e.g. quarantine inspection charges in Australia) and assured that their quote would be inclusive of all possible charges and I won't have to shell anything extra in Australia. Thanks to Ashley and his team (Mygle, Faizi and the field team), the whole process from billing to shipping of my goods was smooth. The field team who packed my household stuff were efficient and helpful as well. The far end partners in Australia, Conroy removals were also immaculate in communication and the final delivery in Melbourne.
Mine was a groupage shipment as the volume was just 3 cubic metres, which meant the container had to be shared with similar packages. Despite this and the issues due to Covid, I received my shipment in around 3 months in perfect condition (zero damage or missing items).

Stolen items, lack of accountability

At first I thought the experience of using this company was good. The packers in the UK did a sterling job.
Although after handing over the money I should of heard the alarm bells ring when I was told by the UK move manager David Bell that they usually ship manly to Australia and New Zealand
The next leg of the shipment to Morocco became expensive tripled the cost. Various items were stolen out of the boxes that I had personally packed. The customer experience as far as trying to communicate with AGS was at first promising, Wassim Bouserg the Import coordinator assured me that an investigation was taking place. After a fortnight I decided to call and find out how things were progressing, again being assured that the matter was being dealt with I waited. So again I called, realising my calls were not being answered I contacted reception and asked for Wassim Bouserg to contact me. After a while I tried to call reception again, this time my calls were being ignored. It's hard to put into words just how I feel about the whole experience.
Be cautious of using this company.

Don't touch the pole! I move from Hong Kong to UK using AGS. It's so painful and frustrated to use this relocation company. It takes an awfully long time - and yes, I can understand the global situation. They charged extra fees - and yes, I can understand the global situation. However, there seems no one to take care of my shipment in the UK. My shipment arrived in the UK on 15 Sep and I send emails to the responsible person but NEVER receive a reply. Not any updates not even one single word during all these 6 weeks. I have called - the reply is "not sure" the most of the time. My shipment is now finally in their warehouse last week, but I still cannot have an expected delivery date. Not going to be this week, hopefully next week but not guarantee. During the call today, the responsible person said he has asked the operation team to include my shipment to their delivery and will send an email to me as confirmation but I received NOTHING again. Why is it that hard to get back my own things? T.T
