AI Pro University Reviews 

I was previously excited with this course a month ago but this turns out that it's not worth it. I appreciate the self-paced learning process but it was really hard absorbing the information. I was also blind when reading positive blogs about it. I saw a blog stating that the author has a book titled AI for the Terrified, but when I searched it at the internet, the book does not exist. The university itself is not a scam but the delivery of their services is not as exceptional as what we read in their other reviews about them

I signed up for what I thought was a one-off course for around £35. Without my consent, the company enrolled me into a so-called “VIP membership trial” that I never knowingly agreed to. Seven days later, they charged me over £70 for a subscription I did not authorise.

When I looked into this further, I found a lot of Trustpilot reviews under the name “AI Pro Academy” describing the exact same behaviour, with the same amounts being taken. This strongly suggests it’s the same group operating under different names.

The company has not replied to my emails, and I’ve had to involve my credit card provider to block further payments and raise the charge as unauthorised.

Please be very cautious - this business appears to take payment details for a low-cost course and then sets up hidden recurring charges without proper consent.

UPDATE: Issue resolved, but proceed with caution

Following my earlier review, the company has since contacted me, issued a full refund, cancelled any future billing, and confirmed my account closure - so I appreciate that the issue was eventually addressed.

That said, I’m leaving this review up as a warning to others to read everything very carefully before purchasing. When I first signed up, the one-off course payment automatically enrolled me into a “VIP trial,” which led to an unexpected charge a week later. This kind of hidden opt-in, buried in the small print, is not clear or transparent.

So while I’m glad the matter has been resolved, I strongly recommend checking the checkout process closely and making sure no automatic subscriptions are being added.

They are fraudsters. They advertised the price in one currency and charged me in another forcing me to pay USD250. I had only wanted to apply for the $49 package, was upsold another package advertised in a different currency resulting me in paying much more than I intended.

I realised immediately and like others, tried to get a refund straight away. The money back guaranteed is a lie. They just try and give you more packages, then I was told if I applied for a refund all the additional offers would go away and that I needed to make sure I had completed at least 10% of the course and that it was within 14 days of purchase to qualify for a refund. I confirmed that I did want the refund and fulfilled all requirements and then I got an email back saying I had to bring it up with the merchant (mastercard) directly and open an investigation…..

It is a shame they have been so dishonest about this and so difficult to deal with, constantly skirting around the issues but possibly I am also just dealing with an AI bot that has been programmed to refuse refunds.

Edit: They have since been in touch and given me a full refund. It's a shame it had to come to this as it could been solved quite swiftly but they have eventually come around. Thank you.

This company is a scam. I mistakenly purchased a $49 package, and it ended up taking over $150 from my card. Immediately I asked for a refund as I did not authorise the payment and they are refusing despite the money back guarantee. They are just trying to upgrade my purchase even though I said I don't want to use it and not even open the course. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE

I think those reviews are nothing but fake reviews created by AI. My experience with this is nothing but horrible. They repeatedly refused to issue a refund. Super dishonest company completely automated themselves with empty automated messages to upsell. Just same messages again and again to stall the 14-day refund period. Please stay away, seriously.

Update: After I posted this review, they quickly sent me an email claiming they had issued a refund. After a week I still have not received the refund. They just lie. Everything about this company and services are lies. They think they can get away with it because it is just fake emails. I hugely regret to do anything with this company. Please stay away.

The bots I've built with AIPU look like something a big company would use. My clients are impressed and it makes me look more professional. That's priceless for my reputations.

They advertise a fake partnership with Sam Altman and OpenAI/ChatGPT that doesn't exist. It's a scam.

They DO honor their satisfaction guarantee, however, I am very unhappy with my engagement with this company for 3 main reasons:

FIRST
Based on their claim “…dedicated to providing world-class AI ...” and other wording on their site (“…1000+ expert led lessons). I was expecting to gain an education in AI to add to my profession as a PM. Instead, it was mostly AI (bot) led educational videos focusing mostly on how to use ChatGPT to make money, creating bots and creating AI images.

SECOND
Once I began the purchase process, there was so much up-selling pressure and confusion with buttons and links to decline, I mistakenly accepted access to their AI vault of materials to create courses for resale. I didn’t realize this until I saw the welcome email with receipt and an additional $499 credit card charge. However, I figured I was okay since they have a satisfaction guarantee and refund within 14 days. I was wrong!

THIRD
Day of purchase (8/21/25); I completed 10%-15% of the course content (in order to qualify for the refund). Day #2 (8/22/25), I sent an email to cancel and request a refund. AIPU Support responded requesting my feedback that led to my decision. I explained the course simply was not for me and had no interest in continuing. I also explained The AI Course Creator was purchased in error. I didn’t have access to the vault yet so there was no need to give me access.

Unfortunately, this began a series of back-and-forth emails, for 3 WEEKS, with AIPU Support Team (Benny Johnson) trying to convince me to keep a program that I have no interest in. I even provided screen shots showing I complied with their refund terms and they still DENY REFUND.

The phone number posted for customer support goes to AI responses and then to voicemail.
So far, no one has called me back.

UPDATE:
After this post, I was promptly contacted and they issued my refund.

The fast return on investment I earned back my course fee within two days of joining. every project since then has been pure profit. that's the ROI I've ever had from training.

Since learning this I we had steady client work every month its consistent income.

The skills from this program gave me the confidence to charge for AI projects people gladly pay for it.

What I love most is that nothing felt overly technical every tool came with instructions that were simple to follow I had working results from day one.

The AI Viral Image Formula showed me how to make graphics people want to click and share. My engagement doubled within the first month. I can’t believe I struggled for so long without it.

I signed up for the AI Professional University and a week later found a charge on my credit card for an additional $97 for a subscription I never signed up for. It was not in the list of items I was receiving. There was no receipt, no explanation, just the charge. I found this subscription inside my account and cancelled it, then sent two emails requesting explanation and a refund. So far nothing. Once you begin your purchase, there is significant upselling pressure and confusion, it was uncomfortable and unavoidable--no way to exit the MANY pages of upselling without massive scrolling. I have NO TRUST that this company is legit or good value for the money. Find another more legitimate training program.

Based in the UK and buying the course for my son (samuel.b.forbes) and have had nothing but trouble accessing what seems to be a site asking for more money, which seems like a scam to me.

Have now sent a second email to them asking for access, as the first was filled with excuses about changing my password and getting it reset. I await a reply to the second email, which seems to be delayed when compared to the first.

Hoping to get a refund as the frustration mounts and I also passed link on to my family to get registered, which was embarrassing.

I see now my brother got a refund, but i unfortunately do not as they think I may be a Bot, but hoping my son now has access and the course is of a good quality.

After posting this review, the company contacted me within 24 hours and processed a full refund. While I appreciate that they ultimately resolved the issue, the fact that it required public pressure through this review to get action is concerning. Original issue remains: I was charged without completing their signup process and had to escalate through reviews to get a refund that should have been immediate, given the circumstances.

This was more than just theory. I walked away with real, working bots that I still use every day.

The trainings are short and engaging and I actually had fun learning.

Purchased but no access. I tried to call for assistance but no answer. Please assist.
