Georges Chachati & Niky Terzakis - read this

AirBelgium, the most pathetic set of thieves.

Booked flights for December 2022 - they cancel the route and promise to provide refunds. 3 months later, no refund with basic communication saying "it will take another 6 months". 6 months later, they applied for an 'extension' and now we wait 12 months (maximum, they said.)

Its now 8 Oct 2024, my money is not coming back and they are in a "new phase" where previous refund requests need to go into a new system/procedure to be approved or not.

My 2000+ EUROS among with others, i am sure, is busy funding Niky Terzakis GIGANTIC mistakes and helping him is Georges Chachati (CFO) who cannot seem to put 2+2 together. Leading departments and organisations? Pathetic 🤣

I hope you all struggle to sleep at night and that the anxiety medication stops working.

Mafia praktijken Air Belgium

**Mafiapraktijken bij Air Belgium - Vluchten geannuleerd en geen geld terug**

Wat een verschrikkelijke ervaring met Air Belgium! Ze hebben al hun passagiersvluchten per 3 oktober 2023 stopgezet en annuleerden onze geboekte vluchten zonder enige fatsoenlijke uitleg of compensatie. Het lijkt erop dat we **ons geld nooit terug gaan zien**, en het is schandalig hoe ze hun klanten behandelen. Ondanks de belofte van terugbetaling horen we niets meer van ze en lijkt het erop dat we door een langdurige juridische procedure moeten om ons eigen geld terug te krijgen.

Dit zijn ronduit **mafiapraktijken**. Air Belgium houdt ons geld vast zonder enige vorm van verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. De klantenservice is totaal onbereikbaar, en de communicatie is niet meer dan loze beloftes. Ze laten hun passagiers gewoon in de steek. Als je problemen wilt vermijden, blijf dan **ver weg van Air Belgium**! 1 ster is nog teveel!

**Mafia-like practices at Air Belgium - Flights canceled and no refund**

What a terrible experience with Air Belgium! They ceased all passenger flights as of October 3, 2023, and canceled our booked flights without any proper explanation or compensation. It seems like we will **never get our money back**, and the way they treat their customers is outrageous. Despite promises of refunds, we have heard nothing, and it appears we’ll have to go through a lengthy legal process to retrieve our own money.

This is nothing short of **mafia-like practices**. Air Belgium is holding on to our money without taking any responsibility. Their customer service is impossible to reach, and the communication is filled with empty promises. They’ve abandoned their passengers. If you want to avoid trouble, stay **far away from Air Belgium**! 1 star is way too much!

LHW to Indianapolis - brilliant service

Flew from London Heathrow to Indianapolis. Was a British Airways ticket and was supposed to be a British Airways plane, was informed by the booking agent a few weeks before travel that Air Belgium would be flying that specific route that day on behalf of British Airways and was offered a free ticket change: I said no that’s not a problem, I’m happy to travel with the change of airline. With hindsight I am so so happy with that decision. Top class service, they are the best airline I have ever travelled with. The attentiveness and friendliest of the air stewards was brilliant, they were so pleasant and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. On the return route home, it was the usual British Airways plane, and the service was not a patch on Air Belgium!

Amazing Customer Service

I recently booked 2 separate trips with Air Belgium (AB) - Brussels to Cape Town return in may for myself (booked via airbelgium.com) / and Cape Town to Brussels return for my parents in June (via booking.com). Both trips have been affacted by operational issues. AB customer service (Florence) was amazing and sorted my flight change out immediately and booked me on a partner airline. The flights for my parents - I had to deal with booking.com which was a very negative experience. In a situation where you book through a travel agent only they can change flights etc. I eventually reached out to Florence who contacted booking.com and took over control of those tickets and sorted the issue out in 24 hours. Florence and the customer service team have been incredible.

Direct flight to Mauritius

We used the direct flight from bruxelles to mauritius and were super happy with the experience. New place A330, super clean, good food and free drinks, plenty of leg space, friendly and efficient staff, easy and fast boarding, on time... We can only recommend to use this airline! Well done

The airline changed our initial…

The airline changed our initial flights, for which we paid to have our seats selected.
In our new flight, which is a day earlier (so we had to rearrange our hotel reservations, with extra costs) we cannot pick our seats anymore. So 80 euro's lost. They are completely unreachable by phone, email, whatsapp, facebook, .... a real scam. We would like an answer!!

Customer service difficult to reach and money blocked on credit card

We just booked full flex tickets with Air Belgium. I had a few questions beforehand so tried to call customer service several times. After waiting for several minutes every time, an automated message came to let me know that I should send an email. Unfortunately the emails are not answered in a timely manner and I had to always wait for more than a day. When the emails were finally replied, the lady was friendly and helpful. On Friday I had to change one of our flights, which should not be a problem with a full flex ticket. I don't know how often I tried to change the booking and every time they wanted to charge me the one way price, which was a lot more. Then I always got an error message regarding the age having to be between 12-120!! I decided to cancel the booking and tried to rebook. Also here the booking failed 3 times. I have had it with Air Belgium! Now a large sum of money is blocke on our credit card for a booking that didn't go through. Which airline is not reachable at all on the weekend: not per phone, email or online chat, especially if the website doesn't work properly. 2 stars because of the friendly email contact with customer service.
