As someone who has worked in a performance setting to an office environment, AKT deodorant has been a life saver for me! I’ve been fortunate to perform in a 45 Degree heat but I did not have AKT to save me. Over the past few years, I have continued to invest in the brand because I completely believe they have been beneficial for me. I want to thank you for protecting me from the devious body odour and ugliness of the synthetic deodorants in the current market. It has helped to reduce sweat (even in the heatwaves!) and has stopped smells of body odour all day. One application is all you need! For anyone willing to make the change today, do it! It has been the best and most fruitful two years of my life with AKT. They have travelled with me across Europe and have still stood the test of time. Also, please subscribe to them because the process is seamless and the team are helpful too. Easy to talk to and should one commended on their knowledge and helpfulness too.

Tried lots of deodorants that make me smell different after using a while, so thought let’s give this ago, seemed expensive but it’s my far best deodorant I’ve used and goes so far. The only disappointment is wish it was easier to Apple than with your hands, as it’s thick so you have to go wash your hands after,

We completely hear you on the application. The balm is a thicker texture by design, but we know using fingers isn’t everyone’s favourite part of the ritual, especially when it means an extra hand wash afterwards. The Applicator was created for exactly this reason, so you can apply the balm without using your hands and keep things a little more seamless.

Best deodorant, packaging needs a rework!
So amazing company and great customer service. However after using product a couple of issues. The product itself is amazing, ok I don’t like the texture and rubbing it in but that’s a sensory issue for me and doesn’t take away from the amazing job it does, application wise would prefer some kind of twist up applicator. The main issue is the packaging. The small lid is fiddly and a pain. Loving the product so much gave one to my mum to try but no good for her arthritic fingers. When she finally got open (with her teeth) dropped the lid and ended up decanting in a tub. She too liked the product but is going back to her old brand as doesn’t like the cream getting stuck in her nails, I agree with her on the lid packaging also if you think you’ve fully tightened, but you haven’t, an oily film leaks out, this has happened a couple of time, once’s in a wash bag getting over all my other product, it’s also leaked in the heat where I think the aluminium has weakened with the key used to help decant the product. In summary best deodorant ever, but the packaging needs an overhaul. If you could produce something refillable where you didn’t have to touch it then that would be a dream!!

We’re thrilled to hear The Deodorant Balm is performing so well for you, but we really hear you on the packaging. The small cap, hands-on application, and needing to rub the balm in can make the experience trickier than it should be , especially for anyone with dexterity issues or sensory sensitivities.
Your mum’s experience is particularly helpful to hear. If she had to open the tube with her teeth, then decant it into a tub, that’s clearly not the smooth, five-star performance we want from the packaging.
We’ll pass all of this on to our product team: the fiddly lid, cream getting stuck under nails, the desire for a twist-up or refillable applicator, and the leaking you’ve experienced when the cap hasn’t fully sealed or the tube has been under pressure in heat.
Feedback like this really matters, especially when it comes from someone who loves the formula but can see where the experience could be better.

What an incredible product
What an incredible product, I have been using for sometime now and use the Onsen deodorant and matching body wash concentrate and conditioning balm.
What a scentband works like a dream, no staining clothes. Live it
I recently did try to add 2 products to be delivered with my subscription but found it not the easiest to navigate, so just ordered separately (no problem really)
Would I recommend? 100% and I have to anyone that will listen, including the casts on a couple of recent cruises.

AKT is not the first natural deodorant…
AKT is not the first natural deodorant that we have tried as a family but the only brand that suits us all. Sweaty teenagers, my husband and myself have all been using for the last 6 months and we are impressed with scents, application and most importantly, it’s effectiveness.

Corporate greed is killing this once amazing brand. The founders were the heart and soul of AKT, their fun and amazing customer service. Their amazing front of house team. Now corporate bland responses. Consumer blaming, feeling like another number at any other brand. Quality has been iffy so when you get this response - Any issues with future products need to be addressed within 30 days as per our T&C's - you realise this once amazing brand is on its way to loose what made it so special!

To provide some context, the policy referenced in our correspondence is not a new one and has been part of our Terms of Service for many years. We appreciate that this may be disappointing, however the product in question was purchased almost a year before the issue was raised, which falls significantly outside our reporting window.
Our Front of House team has previously provided assistance and goodwill gestures on a number of occasions, but unfortunately we're unable to offer a replacement in this instance due to the product being purchased a year ago.
As we're already discussing this matter with you directly via email, we'll continue any further communication there.

I think your reply summarises your response. It is such a shame as i have explained I was a 5/5 brand champion and have communicated that here and via email. But, this experience is so poor that I have found a new brand of products so I say goodbye to AKT after two years. All because of poor customer service. But at least your response prompted me to look for a new product solution so I am grateful for that.
