Corporate greed is killing this once amazing brand. The founders were the heart and soul of AKT, their fun and amazing customer service. Their amazing front of house team. Now corporate bland responses. Consumer blaming, feeling like another number at any other brand. Quality has been iffy so when you get this response - Any issues with future products need to be addressed within 30 days as per our T&C's - you realise this once amazing brand is on its way to loose what made it so special!

To provide some context, the policy referenced in our correspondence is not a new one and has been part of our Terms of Service for many years. We appreciate that this may be disappointing, however the product in question was purchased almost a year before the issue was raised, which falls significantly outside our reporting window.
Our Front of House team has previously provided assistance and goodwill gestures on a number of occasions, but unfortunately we're unable to offer a replacement in this instance due to the product being purchased a year ago.
As we're already discussing this matter with you directly via email, we'll continue any further communication there.

From amazing customer service to awful. It’s like dealing with a different company. A once 5/5 would be a zero if i could give it!!
I think your reply summarises your response. It is such a shame as i have explained I was a 5/5 brand champion and have communicated that here and via email. But, this experience is so poor that I have found a new brand of products so I say goodbye to AKT after two years. All because of poor customer service. But at least your response prompted me to look for a new product solution so I am grateful for that.

My granddaughter has been using this deodorant for some time. She has tried many but sadly they don't work for her. Her only gripe is the tube, she wishes it was more like a roll on, or even a glass jar.

Very good….on the whole.
Love the smell. A pea size squeeze under an armpit and you’re good to go all day. I really rate the product but it is pricey. Also….You need to make sure you put the cap on tightly initially as the tube will leak oil if you don’t. For that and the price it loses a star but defo my fave natural deodorant brand at the mo.
Ordering and delivery is efficient and easy.

Multiple design flaws
I was really excited to try AKT deodorant - the concept and design initially felt very appealing. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing.
The biggest issue for me is the packaging. The product comes in a metal tube with a foil seal that’s difficult to remove cleanly. It leaves sharp edges, and I’ve actually hurt my fingers on it multiple times while squeezing the product out. On top of that, having to apply the deodorant with your fingers feels quite inconvenient and messy.
Within about a month of use, the formula separated inside the tube, and oil started leaking out. Now everything around it - my bathroom shelves, other products is covered in a greasy residue, which is really unpleasant.
The cap is another problem. It’s very small, and once it gets oily (which happens constantly due to the leakage), it becomes extremely difficult to grip and open.
As for the deodorant itself, it’s okay, nothing exceptional, but it does the job. However, the packaging and overall user experience really let it down.
I also tried to submit this review on the brand’s website, but it was never published. From what I can see, they appear to only display 5-star reviews, which is disappointing and doesn’t feel fully transparent.
There’s definitely potential here, but it needs significant improvement to be practical and enjoyable to use.

My new deodorant arrived on time as requested new fragrance really nice clean fragrance I have been using the deodorant for a while now the only issue I have is that it’s the tube get close to finishing it’s quite hard to get the rest out if the tube tube could be a little more pliable it’s quite expensive so you want to be able to get the full use of the tube and the tools not much help the closer it gets to the end of the tube.

Royal Mail tried to deliver twice to me in Stoke Newington and on both occasions sent me email reporting no one was home but that not the case. Was home on both occasions. Then visited their website to find sorting office to collect item. Website very un user friendly as did not share option to collect from sorting office, only from postbox or designated shops.

I’ve used AKT deodorant balm for several years- not only is it an absolutely brilliant product but AKT also provides excellent service. Amazing Customer Service (and product!)
I've been using AKT now since October 2023 and have loved it ever since I first tried it. It's one of my most worthwhile subscriptions and I love how easy it is to push back orders (I use more in summer than I do in winter!).
I just moved house and my delivery was sent to my old address, I contacted customer services to see if they could redirect the delivery and they responded within 4 minutes and confirmed that while they couldn't cancel the order they sent a replacement to my new address. Probably the best and speediest customer service I've ever experienced - thank you Aine & the team at AKT!
