I applied for a mortgage with Aldermore and it’s been a nightmare.
The staff keep asking for the same documents and the same questions over and over.
No one seems to know what they’re doing and the level of knowledge is really poor. It feels completely unprofessional. If you need a mortgage and want a smooth process, go elsewhere.Waste of time. I’m withdrawing my application and going to a different lender.

An excellent company to deal with. Easy process to open an account without compromising security. Easy to access accounts held which are kept in date order so it is easy to see which matures first and when. Excellent interest rates always.

It is very easy to navigate the website and to transfer funds. When I pay funds in I always get an acknowledgement from Aldermore. I have been banking with them for several years and I have never had an issue with them. The interest rates offered are fair and very reasonable.

I have been trying to get an answer out of Aldermore for 6 weeks its a relatively simple question relating to a debenture that i just need a side letter for. They lost my first email and are taking weeks to respond since receiving the second. They turn their phone lines clean off - this is abysmal service which the consequence being a lucrative purchase is likely to fall through for me.
