absolutely archaic processes that require 7 days of snail mail to do anything, website feels like it was made by a student ten years ago. Not a modern banking experience.

I have banked with several better known financial companies and opened an account with Aldermore several years ago. They offer very competitive rates and I have found them a plasure to deal with. I have now transferred several more accounts to Aldermore as they mature simply because I think they are better.

Poor customer service, happy to open accounts but no help to close. Manager unavailable.

The website works very nicely enables you to get to the section of interest to you.To early to comment further just about to fund the account.

If you want to talk to someone don't hold your breath! I've been sat here waiting to talk to someone in Customer Service for for 26 minutes and I'm the first person in the queue! I spoke to them two week ago and was caller number 18 and waited over an hour. So frustrating..... I just don't understand how people can call this good customer service.

Terrible procedure for transferring money from matured Aldermore ISA to new ISA. On the plus side, good telephone support when it all goes wrong. But it is major headache transferring to a new Aldermore ISA

I’ve had my account with Aldermore for many years, once you actually speak with an advisor they are always polite and helpful but…… trying to get through is an absolute nightmare, you have to hold on and wait for ages; the other day I waited for 55 minutes and today (as I’m leaving this review) I’m currently on 32 minutes and I’m apparently the “3rd person in the queue” still.
The number and account recognition system doesn’t work - never does; that’s a pain!!

missleading. You finish an agreement, make all your payments then they try to claim you never own the machine and they try to force you to sell it or keep making payments to them. They're a total rip off. Nothing was explained to me like this and do the usual 'its all in the agreement' yeah, the small print no one bothers to read. AWFUL.

The interest rate on the Isa was falling but moving to a new fixed rate Isawas straightforward, and the telephone staff were extremely helpful.

Normally I don’t have an issue with them but over the last 3 days I cannot access my account saying server is down. I did ring their customer service 2 days ago as it did worry me and they said they were having issues and were looking to resolve it. It’s still down which I didn’t expect from such a big company. I am looking in to alternative banking for peace of mind but I really don’t want the hassle of changing. Get it sorted Aldermore or you could lose customers.
