Do not buy online

Should have read the reviews before ordering,ordered last week,need them for this Saturday,online it says dispatched within 2 working days,still not dispatched,no contact number for Aldo shoes.Do not use Aldo online, absolute worst customer service experience ever

Atrocious company & service - STEER CLEAR at all costs

This has to be the worst company that I have ever, EVER, had to deal with.

Due to the vagueness of their hat sizes (S,M,L), we ordered two on the expectation that we could return the one that didn't fit. We initiated the return of the incorrect-sized hat on the day that we received them, which was subsequently approved by Aldo. Two weeks after we returned them we received notification that the hat had arrived in their warehouse but the return was rejected on the grounds that hats cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. When I queried this they informed me that "Our website states that accessories etc cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons. We expect our customers to be aware of the returns policy when deciding to return items".
On checking their website, hats are not categorised as accessories, so their explanation is incorrect. I have written back to them to explain this in great detail but I have heard nothing since despite sending two reminders.

It's now well over a month since the item was returned (as new) and nothing. They haven't even offered to return the hat to me! At the moment I am £27 out of pocket and their so-called Customer Service team has gone to ground.

In all my years of buying online, this has to be the worst Company I have ever had to deal with.

STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS.

This was my first time ordering from…

This was my first time ordering from Aldo and I ordered some gorgeous boots in two different colours. From ordering to receiving my order was just over a week, bearing in mind the time of the year with all of the back holidays and not to mention the postal delays, so I was very happy with the service received. The boots are gorgeous, good quality and very comfortable despite the very high heels. Will definitely shop with Aldo again in the future.

Nice shoes but poor returns policy / timeline

I’ve been kind and given 1 star for the customer service and 1 for the cheap looking bags I ordered.
I ordered two bags online last month and was disappointed when they arrived looking cheap. I used to love their shoes and bags so I’m not sure if this is just bad luck but the quality isn’t as good as my previous purchases.
I had to request a refund which is fairly long winded as you have to wait days for them to accept it and send out a returns label.
A few weeks after posting the returns I was chasing my refund and was told it takes up to 30 days. It’s a lot longer than other company I use so if you do order from them just be really sure as getting a refund processed will take a while.
Best advice, go into a store to buy / check the quality

Ordered online sent the wrong shoe…

Ordered online sent the wrong shoe unable to return in store (they told us the company went bankrupt so is now run by different company, no doubt the receiver, said we had to return online even though when purchasing the website States you can return to any store) Started the returns process which says you have started the return you will receive an email with instructions shortly, been almost two weeks no second email. I suspect this will end up as a battle with my credit card company.

I had always buy shoes from Aldo as they used to be good quality. I’m writing in past tense as I would never ever buy anything from Aldo again.
I bought a pair of shoes for $75 dollars at the International Mall in Miami. They actually ordered for me online A’s they didn’t have my size and I was also buying another pair for my dad at the store for $100.
They only treat you well when you are buying, and I’m saying this as I had the first and worst experience ever.
I wear my shoes one day, for maybe, 2 hours to go to a store. The Shoe sole got damaged as if I had wear my shoes for a year.
When I went to the store, they didn’t care, they were not helpful at all. I don’t really have time to give all the details of the bad experience I had when trying to return my shoes. I had to contact customer service and were asked to send pictures and was told they will call me back. Instead they sent me an email just telling me they will not refund as the shoes were just worn and used.
So, if the shoes are bad quality, they do not care, they do not care about loyalty.
If I would have taken a look to this website before, I would understand why they have the worst customer satisfaction scores and why not to buy from Aldo.

Worst experience ever!!!!!!

Worst experience ever! I ordered shoes and followed up after waiting a week they said replied saying sorry and that they will be with me in a week. A week later I receive an email saying my money has been refunded and that I will not be getting the shoes I ordered!!!!!! Terrible customer service! I need them for an event in a few days so I thought they would be here before then so didn’t order anything extra assuming they will be here!!!!

If there were -5 stars I would have chosen that instead.
Very unprofessional online staff. Customer service is terrible.
I don't usually write negative reviews but this time there wasn't another option.
I ordered some boots on Black Friday ( from £110 I paid £77) and on the confirmation email I received they said delivery in 3-5 business days. A week went by and I just sent an email to know the status of my order on which I received a very straightforward reply that they are having delays and I should wait another 6 working days. I waited another 6 working days and I just sent one more email to know if there is any update. I received an impolite reply back that there are no updates and I can just cancel my order. I replied that I am happy to wait and I asked them, as long as the item hasn't been dispatched If I could update my size from 5.5 to 5. I receive another straightforward reply that "we don't update any order once they have been placed" and If I want to cancel. I replied to that email saying that I am happy to wait and that it will be double delivery for them as I will return for a size 5 either way and that I don't want to cancel my order. Well, this morning I received a refund and cancellation of my order. Reason in the email: ' at my request'. How is this possible really? I've never experienced such bad customer service. Very disappointed. Don't bother buying.

I got two pairs of new shoes on Sunday from outlet collection of Niagara one Pair is defective the sole is damaged so I went to return them instead of focusing on defectives of shoes the lady at the place said no can’t return Becz when I tried shoes my woollen sock lint stick to sides of shoes at heel part haha lol 😂 which was crazy she didn’t take them because she said she can’t sell the defective shoes with a little lint which is removed and gave her she made me do it to remove so will take them but she didn’t so I talked to customer service and they understood and said If it’s defective she shouldn’t sell in the store and return them to company but that’s not happening in aldo stores running by a black lady she took other ppl returns and refunded not mine this is second time she is doing this last time I asked cust service and from Toronto they sent email to store for exchange of other shoes in past and today I understood what is discrimination by race and she is a racist and she wasted 1hr of time at the store . I complained on the store and her to the cust service and district manager should call me so let’s see what happens they said will send a label to send item back and process refund takes few days but fine better not seeing they idiot b!tch face again stupid fella never respect customer never get sales lady . Mind it. I took 4 pairs in a month and she still treats like that not fair, never again I will be going to they stupid store my boots cost 150$ if not why would I return the defective boots , I showed the defects on the sole she claims it’s my mistake to take them lol it’s store daily to keep item for sale as it’s defective they should Send to company or repair them to make perfect condition or toss away as defective but instead sold and didn’t accept to return is horrible and it’s terrible to speak that way and wasting my time . Never doing to aldo again in life 🙏🏿Till they change that mad lady from the store. No common sense stupid fella. I’d she got defective and didn’t get return what would she do can’t she think that way at least stupid idiotic brain of hers didn’t have a clue. She remove such sales person or manager whatever she is from that store to avoid this kind of reviews it’s on outlet collection Niagara aldo store again if anyone wants to talk or reply me much better to resolve the issue would be appreciated.

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT buy from Aldo online because getting your money back is a nightmare. Customer service is a joke, the number on the website is just an automated message. They email you back days later, telling you to wait 30 days. Since this company has been taken over by Guest care it’s been a shambles. I just feel like they’ve robbed me for £120

First time I’ve ordered from this company won’t be ordering again have taken 2 months to process return & they are now saying not in original packaging.
Something not right about the Company AVOID
I’m having to reclaim through my Credit card as they have also kept my returned goods ( theft I call it )

I ordered a shoe in two different sizes. I used a 15% coupon. It took the first shoe over a week to arrive and the second over two weeks. In the interim, the shoe was marked down by 50%. When the shoes arrived, they both were a bit dirty and looked like they had been worn/scuffed on the bottom. I decided to keep the size 8, because I can't find another shoe in the color. I attempted to return the size 7.5 to the Easton Town Center location and was accused of wearing the shoes and they wouldn't accept the return. I have footage of my unboxing (which I will put on my YouTube video about this), so I can prove they were sent to me in this condition.

I called the customer service line to get a label for the return and to explain the situation. I also mentioned that the size 8 has a markdown sticker for $69.98. Aldoshoes.com made the decision to not honor neither the 50% markdown nor the price on the label that was placed on the shoes by one of their employees. So, in short, I was sold used merchandise--during COVID--which was shipped from two different stores. This exemplifies that this is common business practice for Aldo Shoes. I visited their Easton location to try to get this fixed, and they decided to insult me the first time and turn me away the second time. So, at the very least they owe me gas money, 2 hours of my life, and this company should be penalized for false advertisement. Anyhow, I can't wait to make a video on my channel about this messy situation. I will be sure to tag their IG as well. More people need to know about their disturbing, disgusting business practices--especially during COVID-19.

Rude Store Manager at Aldo Vaughan Mills

We bought a pair of shoes and since it was dirty the Manager at the checkout said she would clean it and after she started to clean the shoes it got more dirty or got blue smudges all over the shoes and she was asking us to take the shoes since it’s a final sale We said we could not take the shoes due the blue smudges which was done by her cleaning ( do not know how this happened all along she was holding on to the shoes, in fact her colleague accepted that the blue smudges were not there before her cleaning/wiping down the shoes for boxing it

We did not want to take the shoes and this manager refused to help us instead was raising her voice yelling repeatedly its final sale. She refused to take our feedback, refused to help us exchange or get store credit. I am unable to understand how I was to take the shoes which had blue smudges due to store managers cleaning

Meanwhile the check out lane got longer. I tried helping her and said you can help others and you can back to me with a solution. Instead she yelled at the other customers when they asked if someone else could help them.

We understand everyone has a bad day but being rude and refusing to acknowledge that the fault was entirely hers is unacceptable.
Finally another store manager intervened and offered us the option to buy a different shoe. We finally ended up buying a shoe for $130 instead of the original $79 !! But the whole store experience left us very disappointed.

Worst company I dealt with never sent…

Worst company I dealt with never sent the order and issued the refund advising parcel was lost in post. Had bought shoes for someone on birthday and now I am left with embarrassing situation with no gift for her….they took 3 days to reply to my email and phone number provided didnt work. Not a trustworthy company save your time and money stay away.
