A fantastic experience so far
As a business customer, my experience with Allica Bank has been genuinely excellent.
Having previously dealt with more traditional banking providers, the difference in service has been immediately noticeable. Allica feels far more personal, responsive and commercially minded. The process of switching my account and overdraft was handled with minimal effort, and the support I have received throughout has given me real confidence in the bank.
What has stood out most is the quality of the people. My Relationship Manager, Danielle Messam, has been friendly, professional, knowledgeable and proactive from the outset. She has taken the time to understand my business properly, communicated clearly, and helped move matters forward efficiently. That level of direct, practical support is incredibly valuable for an SME, particularly when timely decisions and cash flow can make a real difference.
I have also been impressed by the wider team, including the support received around growth funding, especially from Natasha Howe. The experience has felt joined-up, responsive and refreshingly straightforward.
Allica Bank has restored my faith in what business banking should feel like: personal, proactive, commercially aware and genuinely supportive. I have already started recommending Allica to others, and that is probably the strongest endorsement I can give.

Company have written to tell me they are closing my account for no reason.
I have just spent very large ammounts with the company card ( which they encourage!! ) and it looks like they punish you for doing so.

Basically you are closing my account because i have earnt too much cash back from spending on my company card ( which is what you promote!!)

I’ve just transferred my business account to Allica. It couldn’t have been easier.. The team offer a very personal service and I was guided through the complete process of setting up and switching.
Interest rates are excellent and the website and app intuitive secure and easy to use

Henok and Boni have been extremely helpful. They guided me through the process and have been very responsive to any questions I have had. As a result I have referred them to a charity I am a trustee of and they have also signed up. The set up was very easy and I love the fact we can control the trustee access and dual authority from within the Internet portal. Everyone loves it so far. The Internet banking app is so easy to use. A great bank and fantastic customer experience.

I've been very happy with our recent move to Allica from Natwest - would definitely recommend for other SME's.
Added fees within 2 months and no relationship management
I transferred 5 business bank accounts across to Allica based on having free accounts, a releationship manager and ease of access online. That was December 2025. Since Feb 2026, they introduced £25 fees per month, per account, the relationship manager has been off since I was transferred across, and I am now in the process of transferring everything back to the previous bank. I also found that integrations are not as good as the other banks. Don't waste your time with these guys. They make you stand on the rug before they pull it from beneath you.

Are they for real? They will need you to have at least 4 properties and you need to share all of those property details to discuss the mortgage for one property. Can you imagine such companies exists?
