we had booked a taxi on 1st of January at 2 am, there was a communication issue with the driver and we couldn’t find the cab as it was very crowded, after 5 minutes, the driver himself cancelled the ride and still the entire fare of the ride which was 35 euros was debited from my credit card. After that, I cancelled the request but still a new driver was allotted and then when I tried cancelling the request again, my account got logged out on its own. Later again another amount of 39 euros was debited from my credit card. This is absolutely unacceptable, I lost a sum of 74 euros just like that, we have tried contacting them, emailing them but there has been absolutely no response.

Absolutely not dependable. I was waiting for a cab that I ordered from them booked out 30 min, they made me wait and at 37 minutes canceled my “confirmed” booking. I tried again because I really needed a ride and the same thing but they canceled in 15 min.
Both time received the stock reply,” We assure you that this is an abnormal and exceptional situation” (you can see from other reviews they only give canned responses)
Looks like this has happened to others,… wait 30 min then cancel. If no one available don’t make me wait!!!!!!!!!

I have already sent 3 e-mails about refunding my money after rides that I cancelled 4 weeks before the ride. But no response at all. And still the money that I paid is not refunded.

Of the six bookings I made with Allocab, two were cancelled by them, the first at the very last minute: I had booked for 06.20 hrs to get to the local (French) station - on the first leg of a long journey to a consultancy in Kathmandu, Nepal - when I looked at their App at 05 hrs, it was still there, when I took my bag to my door at 06.15, it had disappeared. Total stress - flights and hotels paid for - company seriously let down - job lost: luckily my neighbours got out of bed to get me to the station just in time.
I got what turned out to the first of two identical messages from Allocab saying it was "une situation anormale et exceptionnelle". I subsequently wrote to "notre service client directement"- in my best google French - asking what had happened and if they could assure me the return taxi would not also be cancelled. No reply and, you've guessed it, no taxi - and another cut-and-paste "situation anormale et exceptionnelle" mais SO VERY kindly, another refund.
No reply to another email to "notre service client directement" asking where I would be met at the CDG airport; the nice driver who did pick me up told me that Allocab had contacted him 30 minutes before the arrival time I had given in that booking saying 'it was an emergency' - he happened to be in the area. An emergency! I had booked 2 weeks before.
As they say in Africa "They aren't serious"!

Our driver contacted us before our arrival into Gare de Lyon and was waiting for us on arrival with a sign of our name. He assisted us with our luggage and delivered us safely to our destination.

STEER CLEAR SCAM!!!
Booked a car for a two way trip from Amboise to Rue des Mazelles in Loire valley for April 19th. Confirmation for both journeys received on April 17th by email
Pick up for outbound journey was flawless. Pick up at return spot was on time. However our driver, who had confirmed he would be picking us up that morning at the end of our day (15:30), informed us that the trip had been cancelled by Allocab. I checked my emails and had not received any notification of this cancellation. I tried to see if there was a number we could use to contact them, but none available. I wrote to their service client email address and asked what is happening. In the meantime the driver begins the journey back to Amboise. Once I sent the email to Theo service client address, at 15:54, I notice an email had arrived in my inbox at 15:53 notifying me of the cancellation. At this point, we smelled scam! However I Checked my credit card, and I did see a “refund” in my pending folder. So upon arrival to my beginning destination, I paid our driver in cash. The refund was in my pending charges folder until this morning and has now mysteriously disappeared. This is not a small charge. It amounted to 92euro return trip .
DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION. RUN THE OTHER WAY!

My partner booked a driver to and from Ambois to mazalles April 17, 2024 ,both trips confirmed and expedited on the credit card.
When driver returned at schedulled time 330pm told us that the reservation was cancelled ( even though we were in the cab and enroute).which they confirmed in an email 30 min after our booked time. We tried calling allocab customer line with zero progress. Spent the whole ride trying to remedy the issue. At this point we felt this was a scam in progress
At 353pm recieved an email that the charge was credited back the credit card , which it was so we paid cash for the return ride.
The next day the reembursement charge was off her card.
A TOTAL SCAM COMPANY. Do yourself a favour do not use this company RUN.!!!. No issues with uber or G7 cabs throughout our trip

Absolutely shocking in Carcassonne, I think there isn’t only 1 driver. When it arrived (the next day…) the car was nice. I was told the driver couldn’t do the return trip I booked until an hour later so I just had to agree as I had already paid online. Try Allo Taxi instead, much better and very prompt.
