Subscription taken despite the fact I cancelled within the free period.

I wouldn't waste my time with this. I've spent a lot of time trying to get my walks published, but it seems the staff have gone on a very long holiday because nothing works and messages are ignored. For 6 months my hikes state this "This trail is pending approval and can only be viewed by you until it is approved." they never get approved, so I'm off to find an app that works.

Absolute rubbish. Open the app, press start workout and app stopped after 0.2 miles. This has happened on 4 separate occasions. Now using Map My Walk app which is free and much much better

Absolute joke of an app. Tried signing up for the free trial and instead was charged £35.99 for a whole year . Never using this pile of s*** again

lures you to try the trial and says u can cancel but cancel button is nowhere to be found

God only knows how you sign up. Its useless. I downloaded the app on my android phone tried to sign up for the free trial, I then had to verify with my bank. The Alltrails app, didn't recognise my google password, so I had to change it..what a complete faff. Long story short, I ended up with 4 free trials in my google pay?!?!... and I still couldn't get in, Plus, they were still asking me to sign for the free trial! Thank god I didn't, otherwise we'd be looking at 20 free trials to keep verifying with the bank. its useless. They can't even navigate a smooth payment process....So on that basis, I'll buy a walking map its safer (Oh, and cheaper). OMG, I only wanted to go for a walk.

AllTrails customer service is practically non-existent. Beware. I opted for a 7-day free trial for AllTrails+ on 14-July-2024. I forgot to cancel the subscription on 20-July-2024 and the annual subscription money got deducted on 21-July-24. I immediately sent an email on that day and have been sending them emails ever since. I have not gotten a response from them yet. Absolutely disgrace of a company. Will never recommend this to anyone.

took the free trial whilst we were abroad, reasonable although fairly limited route options. Charge for annual subscription was made early and I've been unable to get a refund despite cancelling and not using after the free trial.

Unbelievably bad site, terrible to no descriptions of trails,finding paved bike trails is impossible, zero customer service. Not worth any among of money

just used Alltrails free trial at Fountains Abbey, worked pretty well, but will cancel as a) had great difficulty ending the walk and b) found that it had used 50% of my iphone battery after 3 hours which is nor acceptable.

Awful. I signed up for a free trial. It was worse than useless. They couldn't find the trail I was looking for even though it is well known. They make cancelling the subscription an absolute nightmare. It sent me on a loop of signing in then telling me to sign in. Eventually I had to send them an email demanding that they unsubscribe me and that they do not have my permission to withdraw funds from my account. Very very bad faith company. Do not use.

Following a trial period I paid the annual subscription but still have not got full access. Complaints to AllTrails have been ignored and have now had to submit refund request to through apple

I used All trails plus for a year. In April, I received a notification that I could continue All trail + for half the price. I paid immediately (the transfer was made on April 21), but a month after the payment, I still have the basic app. I texted support, but after two returned emails and a request for a refund if they were unable to find my account, they stopped replying to emails. Waste of time and scam

Tried the 7 day free trial. Requested a notification 24-48 hours prior to then cancel it. Never got one and was simply charged by stealth. Have had to request a refund through Apple. Sick of companies taking advantage like this.

Would like to give no stars… money taken by stealth even though „free“ trial was cancelled well within the time frame. Not responding to emails either.

All Trails allow anyone to upload a route and some of them are really dangerous. Many people ask them to take them down in the reviews, and yet they leave them there. People are risking their lives on some of these so called mountain ridge 'hikes', we were lucky to survive one today at Pas de les Cabres

Agree with other evaluations of this app. It is incredibly user unfriendly. I am so disgusted with this app that I’m canceling my subscription with 11 months left. And, by the way, they will not refund that prorated portion. All they say is that you will have access to the app for the next 11 months, even though you have canceled and do not have anything to do with them. What a rip off.

It would've been 5. But there is no edit button. If you forget to stop it, it keeps going. Mapmywalk stops when your not walking. AllTrails keep going. Please fix this.
