Extremely Poor Customer Service & Unfair Treatment After Acquisition

Since I had an account with LeveledUpTraders.com, I was automatically moved to AlphaTraders.com after they acquired the firm earlier this year. I originally held a $25,000 funded account with LeveledUp, which did not have any inactivity rules—specifically, there was no requirement to place a trade within 30 days to avoid breaching the account.

However, since AlphaTraders took over, they have changed the rules and are now forcing all new and old accounts (including LeveledUp ones) to comply with their new 30-day inactivity rule. Instead of honoring the original terms of the old accounts or providing proper customer service to ease the transition, they simply imposed their new policies on everyone.

When I logged into my account, I saw that it was marked as “breached.” After multiple attempts and long conversations with support, including a supervisor, they finally reactivated my account to give me one last chance. The communication was slow and frustrating, but I appreciated the temporary resolution.

Unfortunately, after I left a negative review about their poor migration process and customer service, my account was suddenly set back to “breached” again. During a live chat with a support agent named Adam, I confronted them about this, pointing out that this looked like retaliation for leaving an honest review. Adam’s response confirmed my concern — he said, and I quote:

“You wrote a negative review. Why would we give you a second chance? You are asking us to help you after you talked bad about us.”

When I tried to discuss my points further, he ended the chat by saying:

“Sir, I’m not here to argue with you, just to explain the breach. Have a nice day.”

…and then closed the chat without my approval.

This entire experience clearly shows that AlphaTraders does not value transparency or fairness. Instead of addressing legitimate complaints, they appear to punish customers for giving negative feedback. Their approach to the acquisition, lack of clear communication, and unprofessional handling of customer concerns are extremely disappointing.

In summary:

They changed rules retroactively on old accounts.

Communication and support were unhelpful and dismissive.

My account was deactivated again after leaving a truthful negative review.

Their team directly admitted that this was because of my review.

This behavior is completely unacceptable for a company handling funded trading accounts. I strongly advise traders to think twice before joining AlphaTraders.com.

The experience is top notch and I've been trading for 4 years and this year I tried prop firms with alpha trader and the rules are very easy to follow but I breached my account

So far everything is fine, Alpha Trader seems very reliable and I love their support team. Always there to help.
My next step is to receive my first payout with Alpha I will request tomorrow and will see how long will take. After that I will give another feedback.

I had Trade with them and their and I only Bought the 10K account With them (#1329882) and Lemme tell you the spreads are good and there's is Very low Slippage while news! Definitely recommend to professional traders

Trading with this firm was a good experience overall. I managed to clear the first phase, and even though I didn’t move on to the second, I liked how smooth everything felt. their support team really does a good job attending to traders.
That said, the commissions are a bit on the high side and tend to eat into profits. The spread on Tradelocker could also be better. With a few adjustments, this firm could easily stand out among the best.

Good prop firm, transparent rules

So far so good. Effective prompt and accurate communication. Trading rules are clear and not too many to make you fail a challenge by design, like most other prop firms. I hope this is the start of a long lasting and mutually beneficial relationship.

Alpha Trader is a great! I failed my first challenge, but I'm super determined and most of all I believe in myself. I learned so must about myself and the way I trade participating in the market. Pay attention, be patient, and follow your edge is the advice I would impart!
