Warning to motorcyclists, no cover over 125cc
Warning to motorcyclists, Alpha will not cover motorcyclists riding bikes over 125cc.
Dozens and dozens of pages, it’s buried in there somewhere.
This was confirmed by email in January 2026.
So don’t ride into Europe from the UK on your motorcycle unless you’re on a moped!

Money Down the Drain.They Refused My Hurricane Claim
I will never give this company a penny of my money again — even if the insurance only cost one pence. I tried to make a claim after Hurricane Melissa hit while I was in Jamaica. My flight was rescheduled and I had to return home early due to the storm. Despite this, they refused my claim simply because I was staying with family instead of at a hotel.
This is absolutely unacceptable. When you buy travel insurance, you expect to be protected in an emergency — not denied on technicalities. Very disappointed. I will not be using them again.
