Our driver didn’t know the way and…
Our driver didn’t know the way and started heading off towards La Clusaz when we intervened and got him back on the right track. The journey took 50 minutes longer than it should have done, if we were first time visitors to Samoens heaven knows where we might have ended up.

One big hiccup but otherwise good
Our driver came with a car seat that was broken and thus could not be used as a rear facing car seat (which was required as our baby is only 5.6kg). Therefore we had to illegally drive the 35 minutes with it forward facing and tightly holding onto the seat in case of a crash.
The driver did drive responsibly and for our return bought a working car seat that could be rear facing.

NEVER USE. Drivers never turned up
The driver never showed up. No one would pick up the phone. On my arrival journey they also cancelled whilst I was in the air having already received driver contact details. AVOID!!!

Vilnis was welcoming, a good driver, and quite a gentleman with the bags and doors. He was careful to learn our preferences on the drive regarding going the quickest route vs seeing some scenery. We chose scenery and he even took us to a special spot that wasn't far away but was gorgeous and unique. Superb service!

Booking an airport transfer from Morzine to Geneva Airport in the shoulder season can be tricky due to limited availability. Nils from AlpinBus had the most reasonable price, communication was good, and getting to the airport was smooth.

Driver was courteous and van was clean…
Driver was courteous and van was clean and roomy. Two problems that were a part of the experience was that the van smelled heavily of tobacco smoke. Not something I have had to put up with in a long time and I happen to be highly allergic. Second thing was while I realized driving habits are different in Europe than those in the US, all of us felt he was driving extremely fast on several occasions, especially during heavy rain.

Transfer ok. Poor communication
The actual transfer was ok, but driver was 70 mins late, and no contact from him to let us know that he would be late or what time he would get there. The number the company gave me for him was out of service and when I called the company, no one answered and I had to leave a message. They did apologise and made a commercial gesture as compensation but it was quite stressful waiting and not knowing what was happening. Good job I wasn't going for a flight or train!
