Great advert but glasses are fake, useless, flimsy

Never buy glasses from Alpine Wear: they're fake. The company's advert was professional and impressive, and its claims for its glasses wear were convincing. They delivered a useless product (eye glasses), in flimsy packaging, and have never addressed my request for a refund, and their email address for raising disputes on orders does not respond at all, ever (not even an auto response). A complete waste of €29.90. I think the company is fraudulent and sends fake products simply to delay any chance of complaints or refund requests.

Details below:

The delivered glasses looked nothing like the quality versions shown in the ad. Instead, they were made out of the cheapest, flimsiest plastic, and the "lenses" were a joke - with zero visibility despite the company's claims that its lenses were designed for easy vision.

Run away from alpine wears products

This is the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing product online. Shipping took longer time to deliver the product. The product are like baby toys. It is truly a scam! Poor customer service, product return and refund is horrible and ugly.

Avoid their products

I just received the reading glasses. Cheap plastic and absolutely useless. The ones you find at Home Bargains for 2.00 pounds are a million times better. I am still waiting for a reply for the return instructions.

If I could give -10star rating I would

If I could give minus 10star rating I would. The product is a trash compared to what was advertised. I got the order yesterday after about 1month with their shipment tracking no longer working and no response after series of communication.
Please save yourself trouble and stay away from them.

Don't buy anything... quality is beyond bad. All claims on their promotions are utter lies. Ordered a €30 pair of "Progressive, adaptive, photosensitive glasses" got a €2!! pair of +3.00 super cheap plastic reading glasses that I can't see through!!... and even in the wrong colour. Returning these glasses proving to be next to impossible, emails bounce and no response from website contact form.

Just reading specs not magic

Shipping via China but forgive that. Specs are only good for reading and are all plastic inc lense. Certainly no miracles here but then £27. You get what you pay for although really a waste of money for me and fully expect them to be in the bin in 3 months time.

Total scam

Total scam! Nothing but a cheap plastic pair of magnifying glasses. Similar to what you buy off the counter at pharmacies, only made of cheap plastic materials including the lenses.
No “adjusting to your sight” of any kind!
