The Application constantly fails our…

The Application constantly fails our backups - I've raised 5+ support tickets over the past year and each time I get excused, we clear the issue then within weeks another issue returns - wasted weeks of my time keeping the application going - the 1st line support is poor (scripted) now after a 3rd line engineer attempted a fix last week, we've had no backups all weekend! The application is a waste of MONEY!

I was lucky to find this software which…

I was lucky to find this software which lead me to its tech support.

both are truly excellent.

the altaro software is fairly priced compared to same type of backup software and has several pros, so far no cons. it deal with hyper-v and vmware, without needing to even install an agent inside the vms, the only one that so far works just fine in the Hyper-V (core) UI-less version of Windows. the UI is fair as well, it allows very quick and small backups with cloud/offline too.

the tech support is always like "ridiculously" fast to answer and gets to the point, with additional documentation references if needed.

tech support is extremely important for a company, people are willing to leave if they deal with nasty people or not technical or don't get to the point or pass around to other technicians wasting hours, or even don't reply right away.

the ability to "chat" with them online, gave me every time the answers which is key when it comes to production issues and sends a good signal of confidence and trust.

no I am not paid or have any interested for this.
just trying to be fair.

so far altaro software and tech support is VERY VERY GOOD.
