Best Czech/Slovak E-shop

Most reliable e-shop with the wides selection of items in Czechia and Slovakia. Their delivery is extremelly fast and reliable, 99% of time when you order something that is in stock, it will arrive in the following days morning. I have ordered many electronics and other gadgets from there and had zero issues, especially with their complaint system, their complaint policy is great and if the product isn't working or had some other issue they always refund or give a new one. (if you didn't break it by bad handling of course)

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Very disappointing experience with Alza.

My order was canceled by the store and although I received the money back, the €30 discount vouchers I used have not been restored. Since the order was never completed, the vouchers were effectively not used.

I contacted customer support multiple times and was told that colleagues from the relevant department would reach out to me, but no one ever did.

It has now been almost 3 weeks and the issue is still unresolved. I am left without the vouchers I am entitled to.

This level of customer service is unacceptable and very disappointing.

Do not honor warranty commitments

This company doesn’t honor their warranty commitments. It seems that they have an internal policy to encourage their employees handling warranty claims to find any excuse to not honor them and take advantage of the fact customers have better things to do than fight/complain over it.

90 minute delivery nightmare

I created an order with the delivery option "express courier, within 90 minutes in Bratislava" which costs 10,20€. I have used this once before and had no issues that time. I waited but nothing was happening with the order being stuck at "we're preparing your order". After 3 hours I called but they just told me to wait, and gave me a 10€ coupon code as compensation. I called again after 5 hours and the lady on the phone just said it was a logistical issue, but she couldn't tell me what was actually going on. After 7 hours I gave up and decided to visit their Showroom in person. I taked to the person there and they didn't really give me an answer as to what happened. Their solution was to create a new order with the same items so I could pick it up right there and then. They couldn't cancel the existing order because it was "already expedited". So I had to pay the full ammount for the items again (around 860€) and pick it up. Mind you, the reason I didn't do this in the first place was because the items were not easy to carry. I had to haul them upstairs and call a taxi to get them home, which ended up running cheaper then their "express" delivery service. I then called to make sure the original order would be canceled. They said a request was already put in but that since it's in expedition, the items will probably be sent out. I was just told to not pick them up and that they will be canceled once they get back to the warehouse. The items were indeed shipped, a whole 2 days after I had ordered an "Express delivery within 90 minutes". The order is now canceled but I still have to wait for my refund. Overall, this is a joke. I don't understand why they are offering a service they cannot fulfill, I was expecting to get those items quickly, but instead ended up spending a ton of my time and energy because of Alza's incompetence. TLDR is do not use their "Express Courier" service unless you want to be dissapointed.

The many issues of Alza (definitely biased)

Has expensive stuff.
Had many experiences which made me pray that the next item isnt somehow broken.
Ocassionally incopetent when it comes to delivery (like how do you delay a delivery of heaphones for 3 days when other stuff comes the very next day?)

In slovakia their moto of: "Deliver by midnight, recieve in the morning" is situational so i wouldn't trust it religiously...

The only reason why i keep ordering from this place is because im pretty limited ..

I do not recommend

My experience with them was bad several times. Either when I made the order in store or online, the products that I ordered for home delivery were being postponed several times in a row. After a month of waiting and keep being put on hold, you get tired of it.
The website support is non-existent, pretty hard to get in touch with anyone, you just have standard answers from them, no way to connect directly with anyone. They should be more straight forward or have a check-up with the suppliers at least twice a week regarding the availability of the product. They lack a lot.

Good

As I have read all these one star reviews, I feel like most of them are about late delivery. In my experience of shopping with Alza, the delivery came as promised, otherwise I was informed it cannot be delivered on time and sometimes even compensated with a coupon for my next order.
Had some reclamation issues, but once I contacted my lawyer, the problem was solved quickly (nothing out of the ordinary in the world of today).

Alza Break and Theft Insurance

Hello, I would like to share a total scam experience from the side of alza. They hand over the policy and present it under their own name as "Alza Break and Theft Insurance". Everything on that page sounds perfectly fine, everything etc... but when it comes to solving the problem, you still have to pay 10% of the amount. Please. So I paid 260€ for the insurance policy and they want another 200€ from me.

Best website to buy electronics (my opinion)

I am a looong time customer and I didn't have any problems. I bought 950 euro pc everyone told me don't buy from there don't buy pre-builds ect. BUT after the pc came everyone was shocked bcs that pc was better than 1260 euro pc and even 1600 euro (probably because the pc was priced very high and now the prices droped), but what I wanted to say is that alza is good place to buy things.

Fake delivery date

They don’t deliver on time and the customer service doesn’t help. It was said on the website I would be delivered 10 days ago, I still don’t have the product. The order is paid they took the money from my account but no one is able to give me a date or any useful information.
I recommend not to use
