Avoid Amara!

Ordered shoes. Ill fitting/ bad quality . Followed returns policy. Posted back to China in June, paid another £8 to return. After a time I queried that I hadn’t had a refund. I was asked for proof and receipts which I did have but they said shoes were not returned to their warehouse so would not refund.
The shoes turned up back at my house in December ie. 6 months later with a Chinese sticker indicating it had not been claimed!
I am going to report this company but because it’s based in China I’m not sure it can be resolved that easily

This jewelry is JUNK

This jewelry is JUNK! 2 of them already broke and I literally gave them to my mom yesterday for Christmas. Save your money! Also the color screen FAKE, CHEAP. I’m sure I can find a better knockoff on Amazon for less and an easy return.

Amara scrubs is a scam

Amara scrubs is a scam! I order scrubs on September 2, 2025 and still have not received my order. I have multiple emails back and forth with the company requesting a refund but every response asks me to try a different product instead. They will not process my refund, I paid for nothing!

How can they get it so wrong so many times with one order?

I ordered multiple items. Two arrived and the other seven didn't.

Despite being 'out for delivery' it turns out they were sent back to their warehouse for some unknown reason.

I then had to wait until they arrived back at their warehouse to receive a refund. Why when I didn't cancel the order?

The delivery drama lasted around a month and the cherry on the top was they didn't refund the £40 postage.

This is not a luxury brand or company I'm afraid.

Disgusting service

Disgusting service, sent numerous emails regarding poorly fitting scrubs and that i wanted to return them, initially they offered a ‘partial’ refund but i could keep the scrubs….why would i keep scrubs that dont fit??? Now all of a sudden they don’t respond to my emails! Please dont buy from here….they are nothing like the scrubs from Figs!!!

This was absolutely the worst…

This was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had with online shopping and I am a frequent online shopper. I placed the order on 23 November. It was confirmed. I received the confirmation email. The estimated delivery was on 29 November. It is now 5 December and I have received no updates. No emails nothing I have submitted an online customer support request to their email which has gone unanswered. Today I called their customer service number and was completely disappointed in the interaction I had with the female on the other end of the phone. She was not helpful. She told me that I could continue waiting but my order may never be shipped or I could cancel the order now and get a refund. She couldn’t tell me why she told me she had absolutely no interaction whatsoever with the warehouse team and there was no way for her to contact them to find out what was happening or why there had been no update. Absolutely terrible customer service and experience all round. I urge anyone to do your research before even attempting to purchase from this retailer an absolute scam. I’ll wait to see if I receive the refund but I’m not confident that I will, they are scammers at best. They take your money and they don’t ship you any product.

Don’t order, nothing like picture on advertisement the sizes will fit a child. Absolutely disgraceful advertising don’t waste your money, it’s also from China so takes ages to arrive.

This company is dreadful

This company is dreadful. I purchased two swimsuits, which looked very nice on the website. When they arrived, they were badly made and of very poor quality. One of which I couldn’t even wear due to its dreadful workmanship. I asked to return it. No response. Eventually after several emails they said I needed to pay £10 to send it back or keep it and they’d give me a discount, which reluctantly I agreed to. They told me the discount had been initiated, 4 weeks later I’m still waiting. They are no longer responding to my emails. Disgraceful company and shouldn’t be allowed to trade.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

I ordered a dress but in error I ordered two the same.
When they arrived, the material was cheap and poor quality.
I was offered a 15% refund which I didn't accept.
I paid the postage to return them to China but it remained in their customs hold for weeks and then four months later, the items were returned to me!
Absolutely shocking customer service, please DO NOT buy from Amara London (which is actually in China).
Their clothes look good on the website, but in reality, they are cheap and badly made.

This is fraud website

This is fraud website. It says Amara London but its in China. I bought trousers that turned out to be of horrible material quality and I had mistakenly ordered 2. As soon as I realised I have ordered 2 even before rhey could have dispatched it when I raised it with them online they said it had already been dispatched which was a lie and that I can return it once it reaches me. They never mentioned how painful returning would be. I had to post it to China and incur postage for that. I did that in July. The parcel remained unclaimed in their customs department and has been sent back to me now in October. Such utt3r rubbish and no trace of compensation or refund. Please save your money your time and your peace of mind. Stay as far as you can away from this fraudulent website.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Total scam.

Bought two pairs of shoes in march. Utter plastic. Nothing like picture. Sent back to china for full refund in May for £29. Returned back to 3 months later as I believe the china address is non existent. Package held in customs for months. I’ve checked and any company selling in the uk is subject to consumer rights, which includes the right to return goods and get a refund within 14 days. This company totally ignores their obligations. I bought from Amara London but this company operates from China. I am now contacting Trading Standards to try and stop this disgusting behaviour happening to others.

Terrible site

Absolute joke this site. Ordered an item £34 which took almost 4 weeks to arrive but didn’t fit so had to email to try and return. They offered me a refund if I track and traced the return at £24 or a 15% refund and keep the item that doesn’t fit. Site said money back guarantee and hastle free returns!!!! Would never use this site again. Very disappointed.
