Worst Delivery Drivers

Big sigh! This is a company too big and too powerful to give a damn about how you receive your packages. They continue to employ a big turnover of Drivers who are completely oblivious to how they park, blocking roads and pavements putting pedestrians and cars drivers at risk by leaving doors open and ignoring every health and safety rule out there. Will it change, nope, why, cos when you are multi billion pound company why should you even care. And that not the worst part, when they do deliver they throw the package at your door or if they need to, jump over a neighbours walls just to save a couple of seconds. No respect, no concern and no care. Amazon know they control the online market place using their algorithms to dominate the Internet search engines. So there's nowhere to go, it's literally the case of if you buy from us you'll put up with the crap too, bad service, poor drivers, bad attitudes and a total disregard for safety. Time to fight back, start filming incidents build a case files and then sue...its not surprising then when they have an >87% negative customer satisfaction rating!

Malicious link tracking/collecting your data

Be aware that it seems Amazon updates may include a tracking link collecting (or stealing) personal information. This may be a malicious app which uses telemetry channels to exfiltrate sensitive data such as login credentials and email content. As Amazon don't advise they collect this information by telemetry it's difficult to determine if it's a malicious link or Amazon link. The domain portion and the prefix aren’t standard public URLs you’d use as a customer but this maybe an internal endpoint used by the Amazon app and it's services, or devices to send data back over HTTPS on port 443.

Received bog standard response from my lengthy complaint …
1- Carrier arranged by Amazon didn’t scan my returned item ..Not my fault ?
2- Told by on line chat to wait 30 days to chase up my refund ??

Hello,

I apologize you haven't received a refund for the item you returned. Since the carrier didn't scan the item, and more than 30 days have passed, we're unable to issue a refund or assist further.

Thank you for your understanding.

Warmest regards,

Delivery team are a shambles

Complaint: Amazon’s Delivery Standards are diagolical.

This review is aimed at senior leadership within Amazon, because the issues I have experienced are no longer minor customer-service irritations. They represent systemic failings within Amazon’s UK delivery operation that now undermine trust, safety, and basic consumer confidence.

Before I go any further, let me state clearly and without hesitation: Amazon’s customer services team have been exemplary. They have been professional, patient, and understanding every time I have contacted them, and I am genuinely grateful. This complaint is not about them.

The problem is Amazon’s delivery arm, which has deteriorated to an astonishingly poor and unacceptable standard.

Over the last two days:

A parcel containing crockery was dropped onto the ground before it reached my doorstep.

Another parcel was left in heavy rain with no protective covering, resulting in damage.

Several deliveries have arrived with boxes contaminated by the strong smell of cigarette smoke, which is entirely unacceptable, particularly when the parcels include food-level goods.

Most seriously, a delivery of significant value has gone missing from my enclosed doorstep. My doorway is shielded by a wall and not visible from the road. The only way to know a parcel was present is to physically approach my front door.
The only individuals who attended today, to my knowledge, were Amazon delivery staff.

I have asked my neighbour to review CCTV, and I will involve the police if necessary.

For a paying Prime customer, this level of service is indefensible. Damaged items, parcels abandoned in poor weather, contaminated packaging, unprofessional delivery behaviour, and now a suspected theft-level incident speak to a delivery system that is simply not fit for purpose.

Refunds, while appreciated, do not resolve the underlying failures.

These issues directly engage UK law:

Consumer Rights Act 2015, Amazon is obliged to deliver goods with “reasonable care and skill”. The repeated negligence and contamination of goods clearly falls below statutory expectation.

Consumer Protection Act 1987,Amazon must ensure products are delivered safely and without foreseeable risk or avoidable loss.

Breach of Contract,Prime membership is a paid contractual service. Amazon is not meeting the standard a reasonable consumer has the right to expect.

Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977, negligent handling leading to loss or damage is actionable.

Theft Act 1968,if CCTV indicates misconduct or unlawful behaviour by any delivery staff, this will be referred to the police immediately.

This is now beyond inconvenience; it is a matter of consumer protection, property security, and Amazon’s duty of care to its customers.

I therefore expect Amazon’s senior management to address the following:

1. A full investigation into all delivery drivers who have attended my address
2. A detailed explanation for the repeated negligence and insecure handling of goods
3. Clarity on corrective actions Amazon intends to implement across its delivery operation
4. Written assurance that this pattern of failure will not continue

Customer services remain the only part of Amazon maintaining professional standards. The delivery operation, however, is repeatedly failing, and it is undermining the entire service.

This review stands as a formal warning: correct these issues immediately. Otherwise, I will escalate to Trading Standards, issue a Letter Before Action, and pursue police involvement should evidence support it.

Not acceptable AMAZON at any level !

Appalling after-sales service

Appalling after-sales service. I cancelled Amazon Music well before the due date. They took another monthly payment. I rang them and got nowhere. The Customer service person wasn't interested.
I'll call Barclaycard and get my money refunded and get them to remove my card details from Amazon. I shan't use them again. This is not the first time I have had to complain about Amazon's shocking Customer Service.
I'll go elsewhere in future.

Amazon is good for shopping not delivery

Amazon is good for shopping, and their customer service is quite good. Unfortunately, Amazon has started using Evri's services. Parcels are getting lost or delayed. I'm at home collecting a package from Royal Mail, and at the same time, I get an email saying Evri couldn't deliver. And it happens every time. The package is always either late or lost, and I have to file a complaint, demand a refund, and order again. Paying for Prime doesn't make sense when parcels are sent through Evri.

I got my son to order an item for me, sign for then they ask for a code

I got my son to order an item for me off Amazon and he was told needed to be signed for not an issue. But the delivery driver arrived asking for a number to hand over the package, it took nearly 10mins for my son to find this bloody number on his phone by luck he did as the driver was going to take my item back. I do not mind signing or a number if I knew this he would have had it ready for me. But to take an item back because of Amazon crap system is stupid, if you are going to asked for a number say that at the time of purchase and not say to be signed for. I will not be asking my son to order for me in the future.

Let down by Amazon

Last November I ordered a phone on Amazon on an early Christmas discount which was £50. It was meant to be delivered on the 28th November 2025. Reached the day and nothing arrived but on my account still said it was going to arrive....later there was an update...it will arrived on the 18th December...just one day before my birthday, great...Waited excited...Guess what...after long wait nothing arrived...but once again on my account the status even on next day was.." arriving today " . Nobody ever contacted to apologise...I really got upset as I needed a new phone soon.
On my birthday (19th December) contacted Amazon on chatting and someone apologised and I ask to cancel my order as the agent informed had to check the availability of the phone in other depos as was taking to long in answering. I ask to complain...passed to another agent and I asked if they could honor the £50 discount as promised...but I was offered instead £5 voucher...I found that a joke when I waited for so long for a phone that never arrived and no real updates!!!!. As I was travelling on a train when chatting with this Amazon agent then lost connection...chatting thing went off...since then they never ever contacted me again.
Amazon is not anymore what was in the past. As I find the customer service less reliable ignoring customers...As long term customer I felt really let down. In November I could had the same discount on a difference retailer...but I made the wrong choice...trusting Amazon...no, never again. As a customer...why Amazon treats customers this way ?! Being selfishness and such lack of attitude. It's sad.

Not Delivered.

Ordered item shown as "delivery tomorrow", as I needed it the following day. Late afternoon on scheduled day I was emailed to inform me that item would not be delivered for two more days!
Amazon Prime has become very unreliable at best.

AMAZON/DPD/QLEARSOUL DISASTER!

Oh the drama of non delivery from Amazon/DPD.

Amazon said the courier had an item I ordered (a £330 turntable) and the courier DPD said Amazon had not yet given them it. Over 5 days I was told three times by Amazon the item would be delivered that day.

Three days I stayed at home waiting. No delivery. Contacted courier. Amazon hadn’t sent it to them yet.

I then contact Amazon when THEY finally ALLOW me to so. I can get a refund. They say they have refunded me but it will take 5 - 7 days. When I then check my account I see they have issued me with a RETURN label.

Given I haven’t received the item, the courier hasn’t received the item, then how can I return it? So now when I don’t return an item I’ve never received the refund will either not be issued or the money will be taken back out of my account next month. They further have the cheek of making you pay the postage for an item that weighs 20kg! A joke. Qlearsoul was the supplier to Amazon whether they have anything to do with it who knows. Avoid ALL of them!

Amazon as usual came up trumps

I tried to purchase an Air fryer oven direct from
Cookology but for some reason they don't deliver to
all parts of the UK.
I did explain to them that the Isle of Wight is in the
UK and Royal Mail charge no extra, but they didn't seem
to understand this. I don't think they actually know where the Isle of Wight is!

Thankfully in the end I was able to purchase the same
air fryer on Amazon website and Amazon deliver in the whole of the UK and delivery was even free of charge.

Where would we be without Amazon.

Frustrated buyer

On 20th November I ordered a roll of Bubble Wrap (204-2343009-4809127) from Amazon and the supplier was The Posting Box. My parcel never arrived and after chasing the Seller, Evri and finally phoning Amazon, I got a refund. My order is now showing as undeliverable.

On 9th January 2026 I ordered a roll of Bubble Wrap (205-9571825-3827523). My parcel never arrived and after chasing the Seller, Evri and finally phoning Amazon, I got a refund on 22nd January.

This morning I received a grey plastic bag, delivered by Evri, from the Posting Box.
Inside the bag was a delivery note from Posting Box. My order on Amazon is now showing as Delivered today 'Parcel left in Letterbox'. I would love to know how they think they can leave a Europe Large Roll of Bubblewrap in the letterbox.
This order has not been delivered and should not show as such on Amazon
